Seriously dude? She's not asking for a medal. She was asked a question so she answered it. Nothing more than that.
Gambling is illegal in Japan, so pachinko is a legal (and more fun) 'alternative' to slot machines. Plenty of game companies sre in the pachinko business, and use their big name games to entice people to play. Im surprised a MGS pachinko doesnt already exist tbh.
Yep when the FF7 remake was annouced, there were a couple of fans who suggested we should be able to choose who dies, or that nobody should die at all!
Which would completely change a large chunk of the story and the game's ending; but that little fact seemed lost on those fans.
Nope, can't afford to get time off :(
I liked how the Nadine fights were all the same. She was a trained mercenary, while Drake is primarily an adventurer with basic melee/gun skills. So it makes sense that he would be outclassed in a one-on-one fight. It felt very realistic; like what an actual fight with a trained soldier would feel like.
The game can be very short because you are only forced to play one level per page, so you can get to the end very quickly. But if you play every level in every chapter and find all the secrets, it can become a much lengthier game (around 10-12 hours). And if you aim for all melons, the game becomes much harder.
You miss out on a lot of the game if you rush through it.
Umm....you do realize that art isn't just the stuff you find in art museums, right? Art covers a diverse range of creative activity; from paintings, to music, to literature, to film. And, yes, some people would include video games under that banner.
"Are you human? Because I will not serve a synth!"
"No, I'm Jangles the moon monkey"
Lol!
It's the opposite in Australia, so the midnight launches are usually hot, sweaty, and you spend hours waiting in line behind a bunch of people who smell like they haven't showered since earlier that morning :/
Lol the concept of the 'butterfly effect' has existed long before the Ashton Kutcher movie
He's more like the Japanese version of David Bowie tbh
I love the game but I agree with some of his nitpicks. It would have been nice to have more major choices that affected the overall plot of the game. I was a little disappointed on my 2nd playthrough when I made different choices but still ended up with similar results.
Um....actually being poor would suck far more than talking bout being poor o_O
Still not a fan of those voices...
'Integrate The Compilation Materials'
No!!! The last thing the FF7 remake needs is references to Dirge of Cerberus or the retcons from Before Crisis. They hinder the story rather than add to it.
It sounds like its more of a problem with publishers than a problem with actual gamers. It reminds me of something I read about Friends when it was in its first season. Apparently the studio asked the makers of the show not to include too many scenes with just the female leads because they thought that an American audience wouldn't be interested in watching a group of women talking about 'trivial' things! The makers thought this was ridiculous and changed nothing, and Friends ende...
It might seem trivial, but it's a small step in the right direction in standing up to the shitty publishers who are still stuck in the outdated mindset that "Gamers don't like girls" or "Gamers are only interested in guns and explosions" or whatever other stupid stereotypes that publishers have about us that they think will make a game sell.
You say that like its a bad thing. Of course Ellie is a normal/generic teenager. That's kinda the point.
I'd say it counts as a hidden gem because most people who walk into a game store probably havent heard of it. It's easy for us to say it's getting good coverage because we're on game sites like N4G all the time. But I doubt the average everyday gamer has heard of it or knows what its about.
Nintendo said the towns and NPC were removed from the trailer and demo to avoid spoilers, so here's hoping we get lots of content in the actual game.
