Try playing the game, and do it without the Extended Cut dlc. It wasn't a bad cutscene, it was bad writing as a whole. Any competent writer knows that the ending is your final chance to leave a lasting impression and make the protagonist's journey feel worth it. You screw the ending up, and it leaves the entire story wanting; screw it up bad enough, and it royally fucks up the entire story (pardon the language). ME3's ending made it feel entirely pointless, with the original endin...
It's very probable that Shepard wasn't indoctrinated, but merely had the symptoms of it as s/he is clearly in the early onset stages in ME3. They've gotten far enough to have an effect, but not anywhere near enough to be able to begin influencing, much less take control, of Shepard. BioWare could have easily said that while still saying "the endings are literal", but instead decided to go "NO! You came up with something BETTER than our idea! F-U!" even though t...
God forbid you get off your butt for one minute, at the extreme most, to put in another disc. It's hardly an inconvenience due to how no effort at all is required to do and how barely any games have multiple discs. I've got literally over 100 games for XBox 360 alone and only five of those are multi-disc. You might as well complain about having to turn on your remote before you can start playing your game; it's not even worth complaining about.
They'll steal regardless of price as well. I remember a company did an experiment by pricing their game for one penny and it still got pirated. Companies need to ensure customer satisfaction and focus on giving us more bang for out buck, because the lack of one or the other will cause the risk of stolen copies to increase.
Just because a person doesn't like how much he makes doesn't mean they're jealous. I'm far from jealous as I make more than what I need to live comfortably, my problem with it is that $65 million is beyond excessive for a one individual to make in even their entire life. No sensible person needs, nor should they want, to make that much.
I don't see how EA going down would be bad for next gen or the gaming industry. Wouldn't a corporate powerhouse falling be better for the industry and next gen due to smaller companies being better able to thrive?
Who is surprised by CoD releasing this year when it releases the same time of year every single year? The only people surprised would be little kiddies that are just getting into CoD or gaming in general or people that are full-retard.
He's saying most of the people talking about a game will be talking about the graphics, proving that graphics certainly is an important part of a game in the eyes of the gaming community, but that this is only prior to the game's release. Once it is released, it is up to the gameplay to prove whether or not those gamers will keep that game and make itself worth the $60+ we paid for it.
TLDR; he is saying graphics is important to gamers, but that gameplay is significa...
Music can really bring out the feel and emotion of the game's world. Just pay attention to the music as you stroll around in Assassin's Creed II; then stroll around in AC3 where there is no music at all. You'll get very bored and feel like the environment is more dull in AC3.
Marston's death wouldn't have been anywhere near as impactful to many without all that music to further touch your heart.
Good music is one of many keys to perfecting...
I'm sure there's plenty of that as well.
Nope, you basically just put a down payment of $100 while making monthly payments of $15 for two years. So you still wind up paying the initial $250 that it would cost if you bought it in the first place.
The graphics are okay, I just hope the gameplay makes up for the graphics enough for people to be willing to see past it.
It's not greed, it is trying to ensure profit over cost. If they're wanting 10 million sales, it's because the game cost them roughly $200M to make and distribute. Developers and producers only see a total of $20 per sale, which would require the 10M sales they're wanting in order to see profit on their investment.
Just marking it down as being greedy is just displaying total ignorance towards the business side of the gaming industry.
I blame walruses; they're taunting us right now, going "they really believe video games are the cause?"
Pong is the cause of all homicides!
Just an in-general comment.
Just because a character is going to be released in DLC does not mean they sold you an incomplete game. Yes, sometimes characters wind up being with-held to make the people pay more but the majority of other times it is characters thought up after there was no more time to place in more characters. By some peoples' logic, Oblivion must have been an incomplete game because Bethesda released the Shivering Isles expansion. Are Call of Duty and Halo an incomplete games due to them constantly ...
They only will when the form of the media changes. Once a type of media goes digital, the secondary market in terms of retail shops die out and have to adapt into primary retail stores or die.
Part of the reason Gamestop gouges is because there are so many people trying to sell their crap that they won't have to give anyone much. Basic supply and demand; too much supply creates a drop in the item's value, especially if there isn't much demand for it. And there isn...
While I honestly look down on those who buy a game used rather than new when said game is made by a developer that individual trusts or sees as dependable with making quality games, I agree and disagree here.
Anyone who says that someone buying a used game vs a new one doesn't cut into a developer's earnings is fooling themselves and simply doesn't have any idea what they're talking about. I believe a small percentage of what used games are sold by Best Buy an...
That's more accurate. The majority didn't like the ending, a fraction of that acted like it was a crime. I'm sure all of us can agree, however, that the way BioWare handled this was childish, unprofessional, and completely spiteful towards anyone who didn't like their vision. They only wanted constructive criticism from those who liked it, while trying to shut up as many people who didn't regardless of how maturely they were voicing their opinion.
