The way I see it, if a person is dumb enough to get scammed in such an obvious fashion, the person being scammed completely deserves it.
The intelligent and thought-provoking comments from your average N4G user, perhaps? XP
It would be interesting to see whether Colbert references this on his show lol.
B1G1 40% is hardly a good deal unless you've got a buddy that wants a game that will split the price (45 per person). With Best Buy's Gamer Zone and how they and Gamestop do B2G1 free sales and how fast many games drop to ~$40 lately, this sale is hardly worth it.
Redemption for BioWare lies in whether or not they put their games in fluted cups!
It is unethical and stupid. Used games give people the opportunity to buy a game they normally wouldn't for cheap. If they like it, a responsible and considerate person would then buy the next game from that developer new.
Example: I bought Mass Effect used and loved it. So I bought ME2 new on-release and loved it; did the same with ME3.
Another; I've played Final Fantasy 8-10; loved them all. Bought 10-2 new, it was okay. Bought 12 new, it was okay. ...
For me, it wasn't the ending so much as BioWare's behavior towards any bit of criticism on top of IGN basically acting like their attack dogs more than actual journalists.
Is your life really that pathetic that you must try to insult people simply for having an opinion on a video game that is not your own?
It did have some good ideas, even if they were poorly implemented and broken lol. I would look forward to the next one if they actually decided to not do a cash-in and do a full, good-quality game.
1- How do you know he's never played them? Many own both consoles, so he may have played them on one of his buddy's.
2- The VGA video was literally when he was first starting out and was when he first began going to these shows to do interviews. If you actually watch his recent interviews, you'll see he has improved significantly since then. It's a very flawed logic to dislike someone over their first attempt when every subsequent attempt has shown improvement...
Nope; I was actually hoping for Galactus :p
A roofie is a pill that basically knocks a person out; some shady men use it to knock out a women at a bar by spiking her drink with it and rape them. It's the most infamous and well-known use of the drug, but certainly isn't the only one. People just like to assume the worst, even if it means pulling shit out of their own ass.
@Neppy.
You do realize the term "feminazis" is a slam on individual feminists who tend to start shit over every little thing as though everything in existence is created by men in such a way to slight women, right? No decent person has a problem with feminists as they merely seek equality, it's just the overzealous and idiotic individuals that are a minority in the group.
Also, nobody said women shouldn't like video games. He was saying that women ne...
I would hope so, especially in terms of how strong the world felt. Rapture was like a character all its own; you could just feel that this was a utopia-that-wasn't kind of place. It truly felt forlorn and you felt the pain of it's current and former inhabitants. In Bioshock 2, that feeling wasn't anywhere near as strong. Still looking forward to seeing whether Infinite's world will be as powerful.
Mine is simple: will it be as good and as refreshing as the first Bioshock was?
@Jagstar
I know, and I'm very excited about that, too; it's the dawn of a new era! :)
Two girls, one cup; definitely worse than microtransactions.
The only way a co-op experience can be done well is if it were online co-op rather than couch co-op and that I don't really support since there's barely any games to play with your buddy in the same room outside of CoD and sports games.
What could be done is one person is in one campaign and the other is in another, but they interlock; both have real branching paths and what one person does can certainly affect the other and what both people do can royally screw one o...
"You're about to sit on a fork!"
"I know, I'm really excited :) "
If the cutscenes don't seem like part of the story, then you're not paying attention to the story.
