@Rooks.
You just invalidated your claim that I am wrong by making that insinuation that an opinion cannot be based on facts when they can certainly be. For example: it is my opinion that murdering people is wrong, and the majority consider this to be fact. That makes my opinion of murder being wrong to be factual.
The fact people find the idea laughable is very pathetic and more than just a little idiotic on their part.
People like you are far more pathetic, as you're generalizing all people who disagree with your own opinion as being idiotic and pathetic "video game nerds". You're one of those people that give gamers a bad name.
@g2g.
Finding a fictional character attractive and that you'd do them is actually within human nature because the brain doesn't immediately register them as not being real. It's the ones who actually wind up believing they're real that are weird.
Lumping everyone you don't understand together and calling them a faggot doesn't make anyone a faggot but yourself, kid.
I don't really see how it would be weird to go "if this character were a real person, I'd love to get with them". Or were you meaning the types of people who see a character, form an emotional connection with them, and wind up stalking the actor that played that character? If so, I definitely agree on that being weird lol.
What happened to the Xenomorphs? Why would Predators hunt human kids instead??
@Blacktric.
Did I say anything that discounted or dismissed your opinion of the game? No, but you have and that was clearly what I was referencing. Don't put down another person's opinion of the game and then whine when someone puts down your own, it makes you look very pathetic.
I agree with you on how Bioshock Infinite is not as great as the critics are claiming, and I never at any point claimed you or your friends' opinions were invalid because they wer...
If you think people are desperate or weirdos for finding a female character on a game attractive, you really don't understand how the human brain works.
I honestly feel wages should be evenly distributed between all citizens. If you look at the numbers, it is a fact that pooling all 302 million US citizens' income from their jobs together and evenly distributing it will basically give each person roughly $40,000 per year. But I'm not naive enough to think that this wouldn't have problems of its own or actually be done. But I also feel a person should be paid what they're worth.

Gotta agree there. Every steelbook I've had, I've had to clip parts of the center to make it easier to remove the disc. If I didn't, I would feel like I had to take five minutes just to take the damned thing out.
@Bathyj.
That's something to live by; want it to do what it's supposed to? Just blow it =p
Nobody needs to be making that much in a year. To put this in perspective, let's say you have no debt. You will be able to pay every one of your basic bills (cable/internet, food, insurance, etc) for 40 years with just $1,000,000. If you really think you need to make that much in one year then that's just a pathetic level of greed. I'm all for people being paid what they deserve, but nobody DESERVES anywhere near this much.
The cap should be $3,000,000 per 60 year...
Why does it always seem to be Microsoft leaking everything? Over the last year, I've heard of Microsoft leaking not one, not two, but big information on well over five to ten games. Two or three of which being the entire script of the leaked games. It's ridiculous.
@Blacktric.
You know the phrase "If damn near everyone is saying the same bad things about you, that doesn't make them a hater; it makes them right"? The opposite is true as well; if nearly everyone is saying positive things about it then that doesn't make them a fanboy, it also makes them right.
I would agree with you if the reception for Bioshock Infinite wasn't so close to unanimous.
How is this milking? Rocksteady stated flat out that they were planning on making this a trilogy sometime during the lifetime of Arkham Asylum or during the development cycle of Arkham City.
The problem with this generation being saturated with CoD and Gears of War clones is that it isn't entirely the corporations' faults. People need to realize that corporations only wish to make money and will listen to their customers in terms of how much profit they make. If they keep making a profit, they keep doing it.
Basically, if us gamers don't like it and we buy it anyway, we're to blame for why the problem exists. It doesn't help that the majority ...
They possibly meant the capabilities when a developer manages max out the console.
Maybe DSQD thinks you're a sweet little pastry... or he just doesn't know how to spell lol.
While I do agree for most, if not all, of the bigger companies like IGN and Gamespot, there are the occasional individuals who do great and honest reviews regardless of advertising.
You forgot "Germans bad"! It makes it sooo much more difficult =p
Developers only see around 10% of that $60. The cost is divided between the retailer, producer, advertising, and the developer gets the short end of the stick with the producer getting the bigger cut of the four by getting roughly 20% of that $60.
