I love this site. Reviews are opinions and we all have them. If everyone agreed then the world would be a very different place.

Absolutely, no one has to agree.

4300d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

In your opinion. In his opinion it is not. Simple.

I was going to say the same.

4301d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Interestingly, I think that you can count on one hand the number of people that are on here saying the performance gains are true.

In fact almost every comment is deriding the 'Xbone Fanboys' that don't seem to be saying anything.

Or the hardware was built for DX12.

@Geekman

True. Sony continue to make huge losses. They've stated themselves that it'll be two years before PS4 hardware breaks even.

Sales numbers doesn't, necessarily, equate directly to profits. A company that sells far less can still be more profitable. This was the case with Nintendo for years. Sony and other manufacturers were falling over themselves to win the war, in the PS2 era, even if it meant losses. The assumption being that the instal...

Indie game? Really?

Square does indie? They really have tumbled then.

Or it could be that they can't report on it directly and, as is often the case, they release a story that allows readers to look between the lines and work it out for themselves.

I don't know either way. Just playing Devil's advocate.

Also, if this was Microsoft I have a feeling these pages would be filled with comments about rats jumping ship.

Couldn't agree more about the THQ games. They were superb.

A poor score for not being a different game and the server issues in Aus.

Of course, server issues are frustrating but I don't feel that should so drastically affect the review. If anything they should hold off on doing it until the server issues are fixed over there. After all, it isn't a global issue.

This is in Australia, so it's AUS$. Still not cheap.

Also, I think I read that Australia is having issues with the servers. So, a local problem.

Once internet speeds and tech catch up it'll be entirely cloud driven. You'll just need a screen and a moderately capable box to run the interface.

Yes, it's been done before but latency is the enemy. The majority of the public need to have fast enough connections to make it viable. Once that hurdle has been overcome there'll be no point in buying new hardware every few years and specs will go out of the window.

Want a more powerful system? Pa...

How many people bought Zone of the Enders in 2001 for the MGS2 demo? That was 13 years ago!

If we're talking strictly about 'demos' (it depends on how you look at it) people were buying Gran Turismo Concept in 2002.

Nothing new.

They definitely need to do something at the moment.

They need to be more stream lined until PlayStation starts to turn a profit in a couple of years.

@meatnormous

Absolutely. I'm in IT and that's exactly the case and the reason we use Dell.

Leasing can also be a good idea because you can have your hardware replaced every few years at a far lower cost than buying.

@bigj79

I'm an Xbox One owner but I have to say that it would be bad for gaming, in general, if Sony were to fall apart.

I don't personally take sides, as soon as the PS4 has a game that I really want I'll be at the front of the queue to buy one.

I'm a fan of gaming in general, I don't want any company to monopolise and kill competition and along with it creativity.

Your post is also a bit racist.

It would be pointless to make it then.

That game revolved around multiplayer, unlike its predecessor.

Don't get me wrong, for a lot of people Halo was all about multiplayer but its crowning glory was the campaign and therefore made it worthy of a remake from the perspective.

4314d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes, build on it but don't try to re-invent it.

Like I was saying above, I would love to see expanded maps (added areas etc.) with a higher player count, with the mechanics unchanged. That certainly should be as well as and not a replacement.

The campaign was far too linear compared to Halo. It certainly didn't grip me the way that the first game did and that was the general consensus at the time.

The amazing multiplayer more than made up for it.

I would love to see Halo 2 multiplayer with Azure, the return of some of the Halo maps and perhaps some maps expanded with 32 player.
