Well that was pretty clear.

Now we can worry about this becoming a 6hr long QTE. Which actually concerns me a bit.

Disagree with only the last part. Game violence and real violence are 2 different things. Folks tried to say that video games were used in the military to desensitize soldiers to violence. This is false. Nothing, and I mean nothing, can reproduce real life violence, and the taking of a life. To try and equate the two is beyond ignorant. (that remark isn't directed at you Tonester, so take no offense.)

Lets take a look at history. Video games have been around since the 80's and ever since youth violence has been on the decline. Lets go back 100 years. Seem we never needed video games as an excuse to kill eachother at epic rates.

Call me crazy, but I have always know the difference between real violence and game violence.

When my son was 1yo I got him a Vtech laptop. The idea was he would grow into it and by 3 or 4 be able to use it as intended. By the t...

While I'm not going to lose sleep over it, based on the franchise, its a fair request. No one is forcing them to change anything, just asking.

People really need to stop pretending devs are powerless. They can do whatever they want.

No, not the worst. I wouldn't even call it a bad game. I may not like it much, but its a solid action RPG and it looks nice.

That said, my first thought was...boy I wish I could play for more than a couple minutes before getting kicked:P I kid. My second thought was, 10 years? really? Its a fun game, but...10 years?

I thought with the "when its done" approach there would be some innovation, but there is none in the game. I played Titan Quest mo...

Yea, cause making something people want to buy is just silly.

Diablo 3 is a pretty decent game, not ground breaking buy any means. My personal opinion about it is that I feel no ownership over the single player experience at all. Like an MMO. It feels like a rental.

It would be tragic if all games ended up doing that. So maybe its one solution to piracy, but not the only one.

Well Star Wars has been moving away the "Blue/Red moral dichotomy" for a while now. The prequels all but turn the Jedi into the bad guys.

As for the article, it seems nothing new was really said at all.

Until they really prove themselves, I wouldn't get that excited. Also many of their recent projects were axed because money issues.

LA has shown a complete lack of interest in many of their past gems recently, and instead chose to go with entirely SW based IPs.

I want to see what 1313 is really like and whether they decide to acknowledge the existence of the PC this time around.

Years ago, LucasArts could do no wrong in my eyes. Even w...

That works both ways. I understand PS3 owners had a heck of a time with Skyrim. Had to wait longer for patches. On PC, not only did the patches come sooner, mods took care of most of the glitches and design flaws. I'm not even going to mention the content mods it has.

Fortunately as an actual PC gamer all my games run perfectly with no "erroring out".

If you like consoles, great. I mean that. But please, if you are going to trash PC gaming then...

The article is about who is to blame for the ENDING. Kindly point out where I said anything bad about the rest of it. In fact the quality of the rest of the writing makes this ending in particular so bad.

And Mass Effect's gameplay was average at best. Cover-based TPS, WOW that hasn't been done to death. The ONLY thing Mass Effect had was its story.

The issue I have is blaming gamers for the choices BioWare alone made.

PCs don't have any games?! Why didn't anyone tell me. I must have been hallucinating this whole time.

Seriously, you prefer consoles and I prefer my PC. Which is why I don't own any consoles. I'm content with what I have just like you.

"and correct me if i'm wrong but isn't it more likely for a PC HDD to crash than a Consoles? and your PC can get hacked and or get a virus 20X more likely then a consoles."

Red ring of death? But I suppose with a console you can pop it open and fix any problems you have? Right?

Do consoles have a HDD or SSD? If its a HDD then its no different than on PC. Mine are quite a few years old and still chugging along. If my drive crashes I'll ju...

As I understand it, very little was changed. They didn't rewrite the ending.

I didn't pay 60$ to head-canon the ending to ME. Also, if they wanted us to use our imagination then they could have cut to the credits as you enter the beam. At least then we wouldn't have to suffer the space brat and his 3 wacky choices.

Unanswered questions did NOT add to lore, as lore itself was completely disregarded by the ending.

One idiot filing a complaint with the FTC never had the power to do anything. Its used as an excuse to blame fans. F...

Red Faction: Armageddon

It was like the devs could not properly express their disdain for RF:G so they made RF:A. RF:A took everything RF:G got right, and did the opposite.

Example: Open-world -> Tunnels

Gee, wonder why that failed?

Is anyone really that surprised? They've ignored their fanbase for years.

With the tech today they could revive the space-combat sim, and do it cheaply. The I-Novae engine can seamlessly transition from space to atmosphere, not to mention create a galaxy with billions of star systems. This was possible years ago.

But alas, instead of Battlefront 3 and X-wing/TIE fighter we get Star Wars: The Force Uncharted. Which may not even come to the PC since they ga...

If they can do it then should try adding female characters to MP. If they can't or won't they should just say so and be done with it.

IMO since its primarily a "franchise" issue and not an "equality" its worth considering. I also think the petitioners deserve the respect of a simple yes or no answer instead of just being called whiners. Its a request, not a hostage situation.

First; an invasion of the US is unbelievable. The fact that N. Korea was doing the invading was just silly. There is absolutely nothing realistic about it.

Second; while complaining does get tiresome at times, gamer feedback is essential. No gamer should just shut up. Gamers should be far more careful with their money though IMO. Not buying game day one sends a louder message than any rant.

Seems to me BioWare pulled a "rocks fall" because they want to be done with ME. Could they go back on what they said? Sure. But, based on what they said (which is the only evidence available) they intended ME3 to be the end.

Its just my opinion "why" I think they ended ME3. What they said is fact, until they change their minds. Can't assume they are going to act in the same way as Kojima or any other developer.

Except there won't be a next trilogy. BioWare has said time and again that this is it for Shep and for the ME universe post ME3. Specifically mentioning that because post ME3 is a "wasteland", it wouldn't be very fun.

"If" they decide to revisit the ME universe it will be in period prior to ME3.
