Huh? D3 could always run on consoles. Not sure what building an arcade cabinet proves. Then again maybe I'm missing some sarcasm.

No kidding. Alienware is massively overpriced.

I'm pretty vocal when it comes to my hatred for ME3's ending, but I found the MP pretty good. The question is, how committed to it will they be in the future. So far they have pretty good.

The only thing I think they need to work on is more variety in gameplay. Different modes and enemies. Aside from that, it doesn't need "fixing".

What he is talking about is the attempts at closing the PC platform down. When it comes to gaming M$ has been trying to do that for years. Games for Windows Live was an attempt that. It failed horribly, but it hasn't stopped them from trying.

When it comes to PC gaming, M$ has a pretty checkered past.

Seriously, how does one even reach this conclusion after D3? No, it has an average level of hype for a game that's been in the works for a while.

They should have had a space sim. The best part of SWG was Jump to Lightspeed. They could have tried to reach the players desperate for a Star Wars space sim, but went for the WoW crowd.

It's a single player game that feels like an MMO. Minus regular content updates.

D3 in my opinion is a good game. But as I played it I just couldn't help thinking "this took a decade to develop?".

I felt the same when I saw the first shots of Starcraft 2. Blizzard takes an unusually long time to create, what is essentially better looking versions of their old games. With SC2 being wildly popular for it MP I sort of expected little change. Bu...

MS would rather talk about being supportive of PC gaming than actually do anything. Might get some attention on XBOX though.

MS is only good at talking about MS.

EA is trying to compete with Valve.

Valve is more concerned with what I want as a customer.

Since they are optional, no.

There were actually broken quests that I used the console for so I'm thankful it was there.

For me, after a vanilla play-through, I use only certain cheats. Mainly cheats that get me better gear earlier. I absolutely hate getting all the cool stuff right at the end. I really love NG+.

I never use god-mode though, that's a game breaker for me. What it comes down to really is crafting my own experience. I ...

Sorry You can't make a 10 best list of Star Wars games that:

1. Doesn't include TIE Fighter or X Wing.

2. Includes Lego Star Wars, The Force Unleashed, Podracer, and SWG(JTL was great so maybe it gets an honorable mention). These are okay games, but FAR from the best.

I always thought it would be great if you customize a unit with certain abilities. Basically instead of a flamethrower unit, you add the ability to use a flamethrower and so on. More advanced units get more abilities. Of course this would make balancing a headache, especially for MP.

Spore got me thinking how nice it would be to actually design and build your own units.

These have been done in one form or another though. Back when game were designed for the ...

A 3 min cutscene that made even less sense than everything else. How they messed that up is more of a mystery to me that all the mysteries they decided to add to the ending.

The majority don't care enough to voice an opinion. So you have to go by the feedback you get. How can you determine what features the "silent" majority likes and dislikes?

Its not entirely accurate either that the vast majority are happy all the time. Different people have different issues in which they choose voice their opinions.

Then why was the space portion of a "Star Wars" game just an "on rails" minigame. SWG may have had its flaws, but it did get the space portion right.

The number 1 reason I didn't give SWTOR a go was the lack of a space combat sim like SWG had.

EA/BioWare wanted to compete with WoW, that's as clear as day.

How is this still being brought up? Considering the fact that if nothing is done she gets shot, not raped.

The problem this game faces is going to be trying to cater to the most amount of people. DayZ is pretty clear about not being for everyone, myself included, and I like that. Assuming the gameplay isn't total garbage, it will have to avoid becoming a generic MMO with zombies.

I honestly can't see how this game will be a success. It was obviously rushed to capitalize on the success of DayZ regardless of who started production first.

I thought we established there is no sexual assault in Tomb Raider? So rape isn't used in Tomb Raider, we good? Can we move on from this non-issue that never existed?

Am I the only one who thought that Hitman trailer was amazing? Why all of a sudden are we upping the standards with Hitman? Considering the fact its not live action its an amazing piece of work. The part where 47 was taking off his shirt was one of the closest to photo-realistic that I have seen. As pre-rend...

Doesn't sound like a good idea. It would limit access to mods and good ones will get lost in the mix.

The more I think about this idea the less I like it. There will always be free mods.

There is also the problem of who has rights to the IP. Can't make money on an IP you don't own. Its just not a good idea.

So what's the point of this article? Publishers having an influence over journalism? Well that's obvious.

The Gerstmann thing was more of a "perfect storm" of things that led to his firing. Under normal conditions that probably wouldn't happen, but other things might. In fact someone getting fired for a review would only make matters worse for everyone.

I don't buy that SO:TL is even remotely high profile enough to influence the re...
