So the answer to useless news articles is an article about useless news articles?
Unreal3 is capable of much more than consoles can handle. Consoles are being used to define "generations"
but its more complicated than that.
They should charge for expansions and leave bonus weapons and armor as an incentive to pre-order or whatever. Either way the little stuff should be free.
Honestly, I don't think EA is totally to blame. By ME3 I think Bioware was just tired of the series and wanted it to be done.
GTA has "cartoonish" graphics? The older GTAs maybe, but not GTA4.
Really? Watchdogs? Cause we totally know enough about that to make an informed decision. It could suck.
Bottomline, if you are deciding based on the info that is currently available for either game you are either psychic or stupid. I wasn't fan of GTA4 and thought Watchdogs looked interesting but I'm not about to make ridiculous assumptions based on no real info.
"The game was actually in development long before DayZ had even become popular, and with that game’s subsequent rise in popularity, the developers were pretty much forced to announce the game a bit earlier than planned, now having “to work faster and harder ” to stay in line with the title announcement."
Okay, I'll grant them this, but what I find strange is the fact that its due to be released by the end of the year and a beta is coming sooner than that. Sure, ...
In the 7 years I've used Steam the UI has had only one major overhaul.
I prefer Valve focus more on doing what they have always have instead of dicking around with the UI. It shows me they have their priorities straight.
I just don't see them surprising people with GTA V.
Nah, he's just their new marketing guy. Doing a great job too:P
I thought it was fine, my only gripe was not being able to edit the visual settings enough.
Ubisoft has changed their tone on the piracy issue. Turns out being a total douche can cost you more than piracy.
what's the release date? Can't read the page.
Well, just remember where the MP experience came from. As well as AI using tactics.
Playing Half Life for the first time was very similar to the the first I used 3d acceleration in game. Diamond Monster 3D 2.
Both were a fundamental change in gaming for me.
In ARMA 2 you can set both the internal renderer resolution and screen res. Basically a low internal res with a high screen res makes everything blurry. Its odd looking. It doesn't look completely low res-y just weird and blurry.
@Blastoise
You are thinking in console terms, where every unit is the same. PCs vary. And yes, PC gamers crying foul over a bad port (which it is) is the same as crying foul over Skyrim on PS3.
@Hellsvacancy
Again, thinking in console terms. If they want to try and make a next one on PC, fine, assuming they even can. I really respect their effort but really if they can't do it, they shouldn't bother. Better for them to take that money and time and inve...
So the idea is that if they not shown RAGE off and just surprised us with it, we would have what? Not seen its flaws?
It wouldn't have mattered. On the PC, I don't see that whole mega-texture thing as any more than a gimmick. The idea was cool, but up-close the textures looked like garbage.
The game was okay. No matter what marketing approach they took, gamers were going to see RAGE in all its "okay-ness".
Their current mark...

You know, if they can't properly port a game to PC then they should go away and never come back. I don't own a console, so playing a bad port of a console game isn't what I would call luck.
Problem with console gamers is they seem to think console games are the only games available. They're not. I really couldn't care less about Dark Souls at this point. Console guys said it was cool and I was interested. Then they decided to bring it to PC and I was sligh...
Do the console gamers know that FPS on PC can go beyond just looking good? Depending on the game it can effect quite a bit. Anybody who has played Dead Space 1 on PC with KB/M can tell you that.
I applaud the devs effort but they should have just not even tried to begin with.
Yet its these statistics that BioWare, EA, and many others use to determine content.
