Seeing as how Fallout is basically a satirical look at American life, I am not sure taking it over seas is the best idea. I am NOT saying it shouldn't, but slightly concerned it will lose something if it does.
That said, I vote for none of those places. Too well known. I would prefer a more obscure place.
EA probably hasn't helped, but BioWare deserves the largest share of the blame for sure.
Actually it wasn't much more than most big releases and they still made a good profit. The number also doesn't indicate how many actually ended buying it after pirating a copy.
In terms of the overall market PC gaming is secondary, but I hardly see that as sad. The strength of the PC is its open platform. Many genres are just not accepted on consoles but will find an audience on the PC. On PC those games will always have a home and an audience that purchases them. Simply put the PC gaming platform will never go away.
PC gaming doesn't need Dark Souls. I'm sure its a great game on console but I just don't see its importance at all. If I w...
No, we are all gamers that prefer different styles of gaming.
PC gaming isn't any better than console gaming. It may be better to you and me. But what we find great about it may not matter to console gamers, and that is just fine.
How much is Orange Box on PS3? It was 30$ new on PC and had like 5 games, so yea its a good deal.
Marking down your own product isn't actually competition. Its not like Ubi and Valve are setting competitive deals on a third party product. Ubi can sell their own titles for whatever they want, Valve can't offer the same deal, for the same games, since they don't have control.
Not knocking Ubi for offering a sale. I think its great. But this notion of "competition = better for gamers" is meaningless. You don't see EA's prices going down to compe...
DayZ is about survival, zombies(infected) are there for atmosphere.
Either open world or "Half-Life" style. No more of those cutscenes, they just didn't match and weren't the highest quality.
Honestly though, the first one was missing something. I can't say what, something felt wrong about it for me. It wasn't lack of guns(would've preferred no guns at all). I think it was the world itself. It felt fake. Like it was designed "just" as a level in a video game and nothing more.
I loved th...
Is this unusual for Japan?
Every nation has one form of censorship or another. So, not really news.
It really isn't. Its not even a game yet.
Frankly Im getting sick of overly cinematic game where I am occasionally allowed to press a button here or there. Not really what I call a proper game. By the time its released we are going to be inundated with similar cinematic titles.
Fans wanted KOTOR 3, Xwing/TIE Fighter, and BF3. What we got was... yea.
1313's visuals were great, but it looks boring. Working with ILM tells me this is goi...

Bubble for injecting some sanity in an absurd debate.
1. If Valve were in control there would probably be less complaining.
2. Because giving fans what they want is just so wrong these days.
3. Wasn't EA the ones that came up with the brilliant idea of "paying to reload your weapon"? Totally going to be like TF2. /sarcasm
EA is going to do what they always do, cash in on whats trendy, which happens to be F2P. They don't innovate, they just copy what ever system makes the most m...
Guess I found the 3 fans of Tiberian Twilight.
I have always felt HL3 wouldn't be announced at E3 or the like. I get the feeling Valve will take a little more creative approach to announcing it. Not "big" but unique.
Is anyone really surprised? Remember the last c&c title?
Never buy an Alienware desktop PC. They are an enormous waste of money. Building your own PC is far cheaper and much easier than people think. Its also a great learning experience.
No, it really isn't. PC gamers don't need to be told to go into the user settings.
Mobile is more like having a variety consoles you have to scale for.
No I am not saying its the new console.
You haven't even finished the game, but judge others who have. Seems kinda stupid to me.
Go finish the game, then comment.
BS.
That doesn't mean they lost 95% of sales.
1. That "95%" probably weren't going to buy it anyway.
2. Of that "95%" how many ended up buying it after they tried it.
That is a BS statistic.
