I'm curious to see how it will look on the Wii U. I really want to see some genuine screenshots/footage, from that version of the game.
Nevertheless, it looks gorgeous!
~ Nada.
I don't see much of a "mistake" here. I think the Wii U just came off on a partially stumbling foot, but it isn't really bad at all. It sales are already better than the 360/PS3 were at launch - it's price is only going to get lower - and the it's game catalouge is only going to grow and flourish.
Once Nintendo advertises the console, when quality software inevitiabely gets released ~ we won't have too worry to much about...
@ThePsychoGamer ~ I know the Vita is a handheld gaming device. I wasn't disputing that fact. But at least I don't have to pay almost $700 for something I could do just as good at $300.
Also, the Vita may have remote play at it's side, but I'm curious to see how such a feature would work combined with interference from many other devices and structures out in public.
The only way to justify getting a Vita along with the PS4 is if the Vita gets ...
The Wii U got a slight bump, which is good. That should really start firing up by next month - As that's when we're going to see some software coming out on it. Three big titles already coming out next month:
- LEGO CITY: UNDERCOVER
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted U
- Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate
~ Maybe now people will start paying just a little more attention to the U. We could even see some ads popping up, again.
Good...
You need to remember the kind of tech the GamePad, carries. It's not just a controller - it also acts as an independent second screen. Tech like that doesn't necessarily come overly cheap.
Wow - You really expect something like the Gamepad to come cheap? The Vita is still more expensive anyhow - So it's not better, price-wise. At least the Gamepad comes with the Wii U right out of the box.
Unless Sony tries to sell a PS4-Vita bundle at a discount (which is unlikely) - then that's almost 700$ for the PS4 & Vita individually, combined versus the Wii U's $300.
Nintendo is still the best-performing company in the game business, none-the-less. SONY is nearly bank-rupt. Microsoft, well ... Microsoft is Microsoft.
Either way - the Wii U is far from a failure. It's an expensive console, being released in a lackluster economy with no games. The market conditions are far worse than they were at the start of the 7th generation. March is the start of quality releases for it. When we get more and more games, sales will improve. Just giv...
Oi.. this again. People ~ You really surprise me. Everyone's preaching that Nintendo should scrap the U and come up to something new. - I say no.
ALL consoles have a lackluster start. Remember the PS3's launch? Did Sony kill it? No. Now look at it.
Same with the XBOX 360 - Did Microsoft kill it? No. Now look at it.
And the 3DS. Nintendo didn't kill it. NOW look at it?
The Wii U - like every other console before it, is off to a slow...
You're using ZombiU as an example? Monolith's 'X' game is a better example. So far, the Wii U's visuals have been amazing - and it's only 3 months into it's lifetime. So far, we have TWO titles using PC assets - Trine 2 and Need for Speed Most Wanted U. Other amazing looking games are 'X', Rayman Legends (1080p @ 60fps), Nintendo Land, Wind Waker HD and the Zelda Tech Demo.
If that's the level of quality we're seeing now, I',m q...
Wii U is a next generation console. It may not feature the same kind of powerhouse tech - but it's still an 8th generation console, nonetheless.
@nlvwithgms ~ The Wii U, a failure? No creativity? Hah! If the Wii U is a failure now, then the Vita is a failure too. They're both in their infancy drought phase - something that ALL consoles go through. In recent terms - the PS3 went through it, the 360 went through it. DS and Wii. And we all know about the early 3DS fiasc...
Oh really? Yet they have a completely free online system. Yet they've been offering full back-wards compatibility for how long now?
What about the 30 cents Virtual Console promotion going on right now? What about offering the most affordable, while at the same time innovative entertainment options in the game hardware business?
Yeah - Really greedy and cynical.
If they did go software-only (I hope not) ~ I vouch they'll flock to Sony. They WERE one company, at some point. Sony has still been trying to follow Nintendo's moves for a while now. It seems natural that they'll move over to Sony. Unless Sony denies them.
I could only imagine what's going on behind the curtains of Nintendo. Seriously ~ E3 is looking up to be pretty sweet.
Criterion Games is a perfect example, of a company who puts efforts into their ports. Even if it took a couple months to get it released - that's some serious work ethic.
When PS4 and 720 are released, the Wii U will have to share the light - But don't let it's lower specs fool you into believing this is going to be the 7th generation all over again. The visuals may look better on the competition, but the Wii U has some pretty decent innovation going for it with the Gamepad.
The gap is much smaller this time, anyway. It won't be like the Wii vs. the PS3 and 360. Nintendo can do an awesome job this time around, if they encourage thi...
@Link079 ~ That's why I just said.
Why do I say yes? I'm not out-right saying that playing a game like C.o.D will turn me into natural-born, cold-blooded killer ~ but that's what it's training me to do.
No human is born with the direct ability to take the life of another human. They have to be mentally sick in some way, or their mind had to have been encouraged in some direction. How do you think real-life soldiers can go out and gun-down another human? They're trained to do that. They use simu...
The PS4 is cool, and it's powerful ~ But it bored me, as well. It's pretty much a console that's trying to be a PC. Honestly, it's a PC, minus the keyboard-and-mouse and upgradable hardware.
Nice - but generic. Yes, I know graphic junkies will be praising to the skies about their all-powerful PlayStation 4. They'll be oozing over the "Super-HD Grpahics at 60fps!" "My goodness, it looks so photo-realistic!!!"
~ Yeah, yea...
Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft are like three kids in a sandbox.
Sony and Microsoft are pumping up their fists at one another, in all out brawl. Nintendo is just that kid sitting in the sand, doing his own thing. Meanwhile, Sony and Microsoft who are trying to out-do each other, is also paying close attention to the minding-their-own-business Nintendo, and are trying to copy his moves, and make them better.
If anything, it's Nintendo who's the leader an...
'Dunno why everyone has it out for the Big N.
They've only just begun with their console, and it already has a better launch than the 360/PS3 - in both sales and software. And that's good, seeing how bad the economy is compared to those times.
The console has yet to achieve it's full potential ~ give it time. It's future is uncertain, but I wouldn't count it out yet.
