Man, an announcement like that (while probably not likely) would make me more excited than just about anything else at this point. I've mentioned it to others, but if you want to see these games ported it may be worth taking a few minutes to send Sega's customer support a brief email asking them to localize both the HD collection and Yakuza 5. I, and several others have sent them emails about this, and their responses have actually been better than the generic copy/paste ones you'...
...sorry, the comment limit cut me off.
Anyway, despite these issues, the game is a ton of fun with friends. I've been anxiously awaiting this release and even through the problems we're all still having a lot of fun with it. And Patch 2 did address a big concern for me and other players concerning the previous inability to see or respond to text chat if using a controller. Prior to the patch, keyboards were completely disabled if you were using a controller and the t...
I'm with you here. While I don't think I can agree with the final score they give here, I feel pretty conflicted about the game, which is something I really did not expect to be saying. I've got a decent amount of time invested in the PC version, and given the rather soured experience I had on PS3 with the original Payday (lots of connection issues preventing my friends from being able to play at all, disappointing framerate issues, and little support for that community compared t...
I'm with you 100%. Hoxton went from being my most played character in the original to my least played during the Payday 2 beta. It's not solely that they changed voice actors either, it's that it isn't even the same character. He's now an American with an entirely different back-story (supposed to be Dallas' younger brother according to the wiki), and unfortunately the new voice actor did a really poor job with his lines.
Now, I don't know if it w...
Its a manga and anime series about a group of highschool students in Japan and the events that happen to them following a zombie outbreak. They struggle to survive and try to figure out what happened and why it did. As nyobzoo and dcj0524 mentioned, it features a lot of nudity and violence, and it has it's fair share of comedy mixed in to balance out all the serious overtones.
Right now the manga is still running (albeit, slowly), and the anime series seems to be getting...
This is definitely great news. I was a little disappointed during our last chat when you mentioned that during their last live stream they were considering a one-time only account transfer. So I'm really glad they were able to resolve this. I know I'm going to want to play with both groups on PC and PS4. Plus, I now have almost all the available Warframes built, most of them maxed out, and I really wouldn't want to have to go through all that again.
By the way, I...
Wow, the fact that you were banned for that blatantly displays the site's one-sided approach to this situation, among others. You came with evidence of her hypocrisy, and their immediate decision was a ban hammer. So childish. And all based on the fact that it was content she talked about this elsewhere? The time and place shouldn't matter, given the fact that it contradicts her criticisms.
This is sadly also what a lot of "game journalism" has become. Peop...
Hey Vashlion, if you want to game together on Warframe sometime, hit me up. I'm akiraburn on there and on Steam (it's actually "akiraburn_" on Steam). I'm on pretty often and always looking for more people to game with.
As long as they can carry my account over to the PS4 version, I'll definitely be checking it out there as well. I have a bunch of people on PSN that I'm looking forward to playing this with.
I'm really glad to read this. I've always enjoyed Scott Menville's work, whether it be Llyod in this, Robin in Teen Titans, or one of his numerous other roles, and generally speaking I think the entire English voice cast was good for the original Symphonia. Hell, one of my top favorite voice actors, Cam Clarke, plays a major role in the game as Kratos. However, Symphonia 2 had a majority the original voice actors re-cast, and ultimately that tends to rub me the wrong way, so I'...
Yeah I'm with you there. I'd really like the primary games in the Onimusha series, plus all the PS2 Wild ARMs, both of the Dark Clouds, and in general many of the PS2 JRPGs deserve this. Like .Hack and XenoSaga, which are good series that could use a chance to be brought back into the spotlight.
Most of the games I've hoped would get HD remasters have been released or are at least announced, but there has been a strange absence of these awesome JRPGs as well as t...
Same here. I actually ended up buying three copies of each game. One that I pre-ordered, then two more I grabbed during the holidays (one for my friend and the other for my little brother). I did the same same with Binary Domain, except that I also re-bought it on Steam during last summer sale, and ended up buying 4 extra copies that I gifted to friends. I fully support Toshihiro Nagoshi's work and it's a shame that Sega of America hasn't yet made the right steps to ensure the Yak...
Same here. I already loaded my Steam key up and can't wait to get that running next week. I'm really stoked for Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera too, although I'm surprised they haven't finished up Wasteland yet. As long as they're using the time to make a more robust and refined experience I don't mind the extra delay. I just hope its out later this winter though.
During the Torment Kickstarter I was glued to my screen the last day or so, c...
Another really great couple of titles not on this list are No One Lives Forever 1 and 2. The games feature very similar ideas and a pretty diverse set of options for how you want to approach the gameplay portion.
Out of this list though, I'd have to agree with ifritAlkhemyst, the majority of games listed aren't really comparable to the Deus Ex series unless you're just going for general themes. In my opinion, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, System Shock 2, an...
@BiggCMan, I'm surprised to hear that you're enjoying it so much, as I had owned the original version of this keyboard (the regular G510) for quite a while, but almost immediately noticed problems with the spacebar, shift keys, and control. With all these keys, and even some of the others, it seemed as though I had to put a tremendous amount of pressure on them in order to get it to register and often times it would perform a double-hit when I would try to apply that extra pressure. A...
Actually, Toonami was just the name given to a block of time that Cartoon Network played anime, action cartoons, and similar content. It was first run a while ago with Moltar from Space Ghost as the narrator, but within a relatively short timeframe that concept was completely scrapped and revamped with a different setting and host. It was narrated by a robot named T.O.M. who has been voiced by Steven J Blum for the majority of the character's life (he's most recognized for his work as...
@BiggCMan, yeah I mentioned in another article some stuff about this. I've been dropping a lot of time in on the Warframe beta as well. For the first several weeks I was using Keyboard/Mouse, but even after customizing all the keys to a layout that seemed practical, I was still getting some pains in my hand. And mind you, I do a lot of PC gaming in addition to my PS3, so this was a bit unexpected. What it boils down to, is that this is the kind of game that needs a lot of simultaneous inp...
@despair, Yeah I'd agree. It's pretty inexpensive given the amount of time you could sink into the game. And the nicest part about these kinds of Free to Play games, is that you can really give the game a pretty thorough trial before deciding if its right for you. You could play for a good 10 or 20 hours without paying into it, realize that you've gotten all you wanted out of it, or decide that its not something you really want to play long term, and there's no money lost. Con...
I would definitely recommend it. I've sunk a good 150 hours or so into the beta already. It's really fun and very original. If you want to play it more than just casually, you'll really need to drop a few dollars into the game in order to buy extra spaces for more weapon and warframe slots. It's not really a bad deal though, as its only a matter of $10 to $20 that you'll need to sink in, and should definitely give you enough for a long-lasting experience.

I wouldn't worry too much about that specific aspect, namely because as of right now PvP has just been introduced to the game, and it's not traditional PvP, and the majority of players haven't even touched it yet due to the astronomical material costs needed to build these parts in the clan dojos. They detailed that they'll be fixing a lot of the dojo rooms' material costs in their next update, but even at that point the PvP right now isn't even close to being more tha...
@Omeganex9999, Nice man. I would definitely have done the same, except my Japanese isn't strong enough yet to be able to play through the full game and really understand and enjoy it. I'm still learning basics whenever I have free time.
How do you like it though? It looked to be quite an amazing experience. The Yakuza (or Ryu Ga Gotoku) series is probably my overall favorite game series, so I definitely am looking forward to playing this, one way or another.
