I noticed that Nvidia cards dominated that list: 15 out of 22 (actually 23 since they list 2 cards in the final spot). ATI/AMD Radeon had 6 and the old 3dfx had 2.

You'd be way better off with a GTX460; the GTS450 is not nearly as powerful (plus the 460 is one of the recommended cards from the article). Also, that site doesn't look to have the best deals. This has been my prediction all along. BF3 will sell better than MW3 on PC and MW3 will sell better than BF3 on the consoles. PC gamers appreciate the extra effort DICE is putting into that version. I know I do. COD has been going steadily downhill on the PC in both quality and player counts.

Well, I'd call 24 players on consoles for BF3 vs 64 on PC as "gimped". Same with it's toned down graphics and destruction vs the PC. Frankly, I'm ready for new consoles in 2012 or 2013 at the latest. I game way more on PC than the PS3 these days.
How about some alarm bells for the WiiU? I've got a feeling the next Xbox and PS4 will both have ample hard drives. However, the WiiU will not even have a HDD at all and is opting for a much smaller flash drive plus memory cards. I don't think that's going to cut it for a next gen system.
@DrakBlack, well said and also my sentiments. I don't like my FPS games too arcadey (COD) or too overly realistic (Arma). The BF series has always been that "just right" game for me.
My prediction is MW3 will sell better than BF3 on consoles, but BF3 will sell better than MW3 on PC. PC gamers appreciate that the game is being optimized for their platform. COD games have steadily gone downhill on the PC in both quality and player counts (MW1 had 48 on PC....we're down to 18 now). I know which one I'll be playing.

Exactly the same sentiment here. BF3 is a day one purchase while the "jury is still out" for me concerning MW3. I'm mostly a PC gamer and COD has been quite a disappointment for that platform the last couple of installments. If there are no dedicated servers, then that will be a definite deal breaker for me.
Didn't Newegg have it for 20% off recently? I think 20% off is a better incentive than a chance for two tickets to the COD XP event. You only get an entry to a drawing for the tickets; one prize out of how many entries? Vs a definite 20% off?
I'm with you and think they just should stop trying to force Kinect into genres it doesn't do well. FPS games are meant to be played with a KB/M on a PC or a controller on a console. They are just so much more accurate and have a quicker response times which is critical in a FPS game. Give it up already. Kinect isn't meant for FPS games so stop trying. Let it do what it does best: dance, fitness, party and casual games.
