@Whxian technically you're wrong...
FFXV was developed by Nomura for the most part, Taba is doing the refining and fine-tuning. Nomura always directed ARPGS. Also Tabata directed Type-0 in 2011, which was also an ARPG so he didn't just jump ship. Also, XV was known as Versus since 2007 and was always known to be an ARPG, long before all that whining about ARPGs started.
And devs can't feed their children with fans' love. If ARPGs sell better t...
Chaos Theory was hinted at throughout all the episodes. It was rather easy to guess that Chloe would have to die in order to fix everything.
Also, psychopaths don't necessarily need a great motivation. Dunno if you ever read stories about real serial killers but normal people would usually perceive them as ridiculous.
Then again, I agree that the writing was better in the previous episodes. This one seemed to have been rushed.
Yeah it would be stupid if it wasn't an option. I mean heck, for Lightning Returns you had a ton of "customizable battle gear" and this is a way larger title.
@ninsigma He's the type of bitter fan. Whatever SE would do with the remake he would still be complaining, at any change whatsoever. He just wants to play the original game and, even though he can cause it still exists, he doesn't understand that this isn't the original game.
Change the angle of one of cloud's hair spikes: "FUUUUUUU SE U SCUMBAG PIECES OF DIRT!!!" <--- that's the type he and many others here are.
@ForumPirate
You keep writing your own opinion on the matter, while I gave the official definition of JRPG. Also, action RPGs aren't uniform. You can't play one and say you dislike all. FFXV differs in gameplay from Dark Souls or Kingdom Hearts or The World Ends With you or Elder Scrolls or Star Ocean. But whatever, it's your choice to be bitter and live a life of complaining.
But you already seem to have it.
But you make no logic, kid. There hasn't been an action main FF title yet, kid, how can you compare turn based titles with action titles if there were no action titles, kid? So much logic missing there, kid.
I didn't know it was possible to play XV yet :o How else could you compare a finished game to one you know nothing about?
Seriously? FF VII's ending would have been the same if none of the journey ever happened. The world saved itself.
Can someone explain to me why it's so important to people whether it's an exclusive or not? How does an Xbox release affect PS4 owners?
@Forum_Pirate
The definition: Japanese role-playing games are role-playing games made in Japan.
Just because you don't see Dark Souls as JRPG doesn't mean it isn't.
I don't understand people refusing to play Japanese ARPGS without even trying. I grew up with turn-based ones too, but common I play other genres as well. I'm an RPG fan but I can enjoy racing games or horror games just as much.
I agree there...
Yes because the combat in retro FFs wasn't dull and repetitive.
They should be paid according to the size of the project and the role they voice. The Last of Us is a good example, but it works for any game really. Games only have a few main roles that stay present throughout the whole game. Paying a few hundred dollars more for 3-4 people for a game that has earned millions won't make the price of the game go up by 10$.
But if voice acting is "just reading lines" to you then I don't know why I'm even writing this.
A rough hill? The cutscene of Sin attacking their ship was beautiful. The cutscene of Yuna's dance was breath taking. The cutscene of saving Yuna from Bevelle was amazing. The cutscene of sin resting on top of Zanarkand was wow. The final cutscene of all the Aeons and Sin dying was phenomenal. Then the details, Yuna's reaction every first time she summons a new Aeon. It's just beautiful.
FF X delivered in all fields. The inspiration for the game world were South-East Asian countries and cultures and that's a great spot to look for inspiration.
The game was just beautiful. Every location, every scenery, every cutscene is just gorgeous. Coupled with the amazing music I would say it's the most beautiful FF game ever.
Please no, there's nothing fantasy about medieval.
I GUARANTEE it wouldn't.
Final Fantasy is going strong. XIII was good in sales but had a bad reception, still 2.7 million people bought XIII-2. So a lot of people liked it. You can;t judge the series on XIII-2 and LR though, those are spin offs. It's like judging the series on X-2 or Dirge of Cerberus (which I liked both, what I like about FF is the constant dare to change, if I wanted to play the same game over again I would play the same game over again). Spin offs ...
But trying to bytes contracted the quest seems like an epic idea! :o
@Hugh
Joel didn't lie. Maybe you didn't find it but there were CT scans of other immune people with the fungus on their brains and a recording of a surgeon stating that there have been several immune people but producing a vaccine has proven to be impossible, yet they kept that a lie because they feared for their own purpose and safety if that info became public.
It also explains Marlene's motivation, she didn't know about the vaccine attempt...
Yet there have been action titles since the very beginning. Final Fantasy Adventure was the first one I believe, released in 1991.
