No they won't, FFXV is supposed to be a single installment. That's why Tabata changed Nomura's original story. Nomura wanted it to be multipart.

Final Fantasy 13 has nothing to do with this game. Different engine, different team, different director. How you jump to conclusions that this will be crap cause ff13 was crap is out of logic.
Also, the bestiary of ff12 was rather lame. You had a few monster models which changed in color to be "new" monster types. How that bestiary satisfied you is also beyond logic to me.

What's wrong with mobile gaming? In the FF series FFVI has been one of the most popular so far, it can easily be emulated on mobile today. It's easy to imagine similar games being made, the production cost is very low but they could tell awesome stories. Who says RPGs can't be great just because they are on mobile?

Look at MGS sales of previous games, MGS 4 and MGS 3 haven't even reached a million in Japan. Because of its story MGS is more popular outside of Japan.

FFX was linear. Though I agree the story of X had a better presentation. Had they presented the whole fal'cie l'cie connection through the story instead of logs it would have been good. I found the battle system of XIII great.
Now for towns, I didn't mind the lack of them. It made sense with the story, they were wanted criminals, freely exploring towns wouldn't have made sense. Though there could have been found ways to implement...

No real vision? What did you base that in? Characters generically boring? Sorry but where did you get your copy of the game to play it? I don't see how else you could judge the characters.

Uhm...what exactly do you expect? According to your logic it must be identical to the past games to be a FF game.
What's that got to do with anything? It's a matter of personal opinion. I've played through the numbered ones and most spin-offs and 9 is one of the worst for me.
