Atheism isn't a particular system of faith and worship cause in atheism there is no faith and worship. It's also not a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance. There's nothing supreme about or in atheism.

Yeah but action rpgs improved and changed over time. FFXII and FFXIII tried to improve on the turn based formula and look how well it was received. Compare Star Ocean to FFXV and you'll see a drastic change. Turn based games stayed mostly the same game-play wise and that's what makes them unattractive. I used to play nothing but turn based games, everything else was crap to me. And after the 100th game with same gameplay I got tired and wanted change.
I'm not mad, I like the new direction and I don't care if ignorant people jump ship. They already said the battle system will have an atb system, maybe it won't be called that but it will be there. I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy.
Show me one old action game that pulled off this kind of battle system. Or lets say FFXV battle system since this isn't confirmed to be ARPG.
How would you know? In the trailer you don't see Cloud move around freely even once. Each time he moves it's an attack.

FF7 is a turn based RPG, it's a type of RPG. It's just that the turn based elements seem to outweight the RPG to the point where it would be more accurate to say it is a turn based game with RPG elements. And RPG elements do not make a game an RPG.
The original wasn't true turn based, it was ATB. And they already said the battle system will have some kind of ATB system. So

Mass Effect 2 and 3 could be played without previous saves. In 3 you had the option to go through the story of 1 and 2 in form of a comic book which let you make all the story important choices.
As far as I understood the story he was in hiding for the most part of FF7's plot. I don't mind him really, just wish they change his appearance. I don't really like Gackt.

Luminous engine isn't even finished. Making FFXV in that engine has them double benefits, they can refine the engine while creating a game in it and they can show off what the engine is capable of as a way of marketing it.
As far as I know it's not even released or available for other developers. But once it is it's said to reduce production cost and time of games by one third.

Because it would be stupid not to. FF Crisis Core had explorable Midgar parts, it wouldn't make sense to make a FFVII remake with just a few areas of Midgar that you can walk around in. They could stick to the original and do that but then the game would have linear maps, like FFXIII did and we all know how loved that was.
