Fair enough about PC gamers.
As far as difficulty, why does everyone automatically jump to the extreme of the game being ruined for core gamers? The game could easily have 2 difficulties, with all the trophies / cool weapons being in the harder one and add new enemies / additional attacks for bosses.
I am sure I will get more disagrees for this (as I get them any time I say anything against this game...), but people need to have SOME FAITH in From Software. ...
Why does Demon / Dark Souls bring out all these elitist looking down on ANYONE that doesn't play the same way as them? Games need to make money, most people want to enjoy the game, why shouldn't they make it so more people can enjoy it?

1) The memory card complaints really need to stop. Yes it sucks that a 32 gb card is $80 (vs $30 for a micro sd), but that 80 (is becoming a common sale price) is a SMALL price to pay when you can easily get all these cross-buy titles, PS plus titles, demos / DLC, PSP, PS1 or whatever at your convince.

Awards mean very little, since most Nitnendo series continue the same gameplay mechanics (which make them fun), but turn people off declaring them a winner of anything. Thats why CoD can get as many high scores as it wants, sell more than anything else, be the most played online game and still lose to title like Borderlands 2. (which deserves it)

"True Speedruns" are done by people that have played the game WAY too much and know pretty much everything about it. Since they know what to expect, where to expect it and how to deal with it, they're able to achieve an amazing time. I believe many would agree beating Dark Souls on your first attempt in 32 minutes is not possible, where as on your 32 cycle... many would believe it without question.
It has a bit to do with what others have said, like not taking a loss, adding perceived value, etc. Though it also has a LOT to do with keeping current buyers happy. If you drop the Vita, then early supporters are mad they paid a bit more, where as adding a bonus with memory cards could serve to support many people looking to buy one. This adds value to new buyers, but doesn't piss off current supporters.
I really don't see the issue. Most of the games we have either came with the DLC (Tekken), are getting it soon (NG 3 via update) or it's not there yet.
The "gimmicks" matter, but I think the writer (didn't finish since it was running one...) didn't really get the point. If you release an updated version for another console, you got to offer something that makes people want it. Namco Bandai has a long history of releasing exclusives on the PS3 and Anime / Manga games on the PS3 / Xbox.
Kaizoku Musou 2 is still a Sony exclusive and was announced for the PS3 / Vita and the latest One Piece game is on the PS3, so it seems likely to follow those.

If you looked at the image presented, then you would have saw they're filling in gaps. However, this title will most likely focus on PLAYABLE characters, add fights in included arcs and really make One Piece Kaizoku Musou 2 everything the first should have been.
If you "need" this game, then you want it to be a Sony exclusive. This is SIMPLY because the PS3 and Vita are the only region free devices and the others aren't (though some Xbox titles are region free... though thats just semantics).

Yes the dollar has depreciated, but this makes no sense in terms of marketing. Many / Most people were OUTRAGED that Uncharted Golden Abyss was given a price higher than any other title on the Vita. The failure to launch is just what they do for any new console, since it always gets hits. As far as "news of how much of a little beast of a machine it is", I would attribute it to better promotions, Plus, holiday season and having some bigger titles out, than word of mouth.
