If a better game can do more for less, how does that NOT affect the score? People use reviews to see if the game is worth the money, so why shouldn't one of the 2 most expensive US titles get that held against it?

You can compare random sites, but unless the same person says it... your point is moot. All I am saying is that it's not hard to be the best version when it's the closest to the console experience.

Eh, what?

Kens Rage is Hokuto Musou.
Kens Rage 2 is Shin Hokuto Musou and not out in Japan...

While true, does it really mean anything if the other titles are for the DS, iOS / Android or PSP? 2 Thumbsticks + Online multiplayer = pretty easy best.

Well plenty of games can be shorten if you rush them.

God of War can easily be done in 2 and a half hours.
Demon Souls can be done in an hour.
Zone of the Enders can be done in an hour and a half.
etc.

With this being said and while I hope it doesn't cause problems, I doubt this claim is true.

There are 10 operation missions, 5 time trial missions and 5 hostile missions. This makes 20 missions total, so you got t...

Assuming this is Kyle, then it definitely wasn't done on Veteran. I am playing on Vet and even if the game is only an hour long... Vet will add hours to your play time. It's so easy to fail that you will keep, keep, keep, keep, keep retrying.

No.

ZoE isn't THAT bad, but it's hard to justify 20 dollars for each game. Like the combat places look cleaner, but many of the cutscenes look like straight ports. There were also some pretty obvious errors that I find startling no one discovered.

EU has Tales, but lacks Tactics.

4980d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Hard to say, since EU also supports the Vita a bit more (with Vita insider, free themes, preorder stuff, etc). I wouldn't say Jet Set Radio and WipEout makes US better than EU either, since the main highlight was Gravity Daze / Uncharted. This will really come down to how quickly they cycle games since EU said...

Wow, way to miss the point. By that I meant the core demographic was less likely to view it. If they wanted to market to mothers, it will be on during reality tv shows. If they wanted to market to guys looking for fun, perhaps during a football game. If they wanted to market towards kids, they will appear during cartoons.

Ad's exist, I found them uncommon and this is most likely because im not in the demographic. But feel free to argue the y...

I've seen a few, but they're uncommon and not geared towards core gamers. Also it's hard to cover the Wii U since so many of the titles are ports. Do you really need to read why Darksiders 2 is better with the game pad?

They got it before the US, which lead to many people in the US speculating we would get it for free (after seeing the new store pictures) and a number of complaints.

4981d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I wouldn't worry about it. While it has virtually no impact on what we get, Japan only got 1 Vita title and a couple of PSP titles. We've seen PS1 titles in the past, along with mini, so Vita plus could be a couple of PSP games, 1 vita and maybe 2 PS1 classics. Due to variables like this, I think thats why people are so interested.

@ TheFaceless

You're looking at it the wrong way. Yes people need to look at the title on it's own merits, but people ALSO want to know how it is compared to previous titles.

I personally loved Lost Planet 2, hated Lost Planet. Thought Spelunker (NES) was a broken mess, couldn't find a flaw in the PS3 version. Can't bring myself to finish Killzone 1, would love another game like Killzone 2. Loved the story of Bioshock, wish Bioshock 2 didn'...

any reviewer that focuses on the multiplayer (unless it only has MP) isn't someone you should trust.

The MP is vastly different based off the people you play with, what type of guns are "overpowered", how others play and other such things. It's hardly a fixed experience like the campaign would be, plus it will always be changing. As people level they will unlock different abilities, so they may or may not be cheaper. Broken weapons will be discovered. Onlin...

Prices are only high if you don't look for a deal. You could have easily just preordered Borderlands 2, Black Ops 2, Assassins Creed 3, Biohazard 6 and more at BB and got 20 back in RZ cert cash. That basically lowers the cost of that game to 40 or allows you to save 20 on a future purchase. No matter how you look at it though, thats enough of a savings to get the game + online pass for $70 without even trying.

@ Lodossrage

Those games cost the same, thats the difference. It has nothing to do with where you got it, it's just the simple fact they cost exactly the same lol.

4981d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

Well to be fair, if you buy 1 you get the other for just about everything else. The only difference being the others cost exactly the same, but people tend to overlook that stuff. With this being said, I think we can all agree this article is pretty pointless.

Sony said the PS3 version was the only cross buy version. The Vita version costs less. etc.
