Well this can really be said of any collectible on the market and is really just based off the person. Like plenty of people collect vinyl toys (like what Kidrobot sells), yet they're nothing more than stuff to display with no practical use. Same with any figure, picture, or anything remotely similar to this stuff.
For me the appeal is buying something to show my love for the game / character. Like I really like Monster Hunter, so I have the Monster Hunter Male Hunter Ne...
Same.
Though I think all the hate from DNF comes from misconceptions and people assuming the best for the game. Like most of the hype for DNF didn't come from the company, but people referencing it / talking about it. (think FF Versus / The Last Guardian) Also a lot of people went in assuming that it had been in development for 10+ years, when the game had plenty of set backs and was remade a few different times.
In a lot of ways I think DNF did a lot for...
But Goldenkeys mean NOTHING to fans... and very little to casuals.
The keys merely open a chest that has a purple / pink tier weapon, but doesn't give you legendary / unique weapons. If you're level 50 (like me), then you won't gain anything from that and you can always copy your save to have unlimited keys if you so desire. Also since we can freely drop / pick up weapons, it would PROBABLY be easier to ask someone for a legendary weapon / farm it than to obtain ...
But those are none of the "real" reasons why people can afford it...
People can afford it because it is a more effective laptop for many people. Like using a laptop in bed can be annoying, where as a tablet is fairly simple. Want to travel somewhere? It's a very small / light device to take with you. Plenty of people own a smart phone, which tablets typically (depending how you go about it) allow you to view / edit events on both devices, which is ultimately mor...
1 character was added, with no more currently planned. (or to our knowledge anyway)
So far all of the DLC packs have been outsourced.
And? A lot of games rebalance the game or fix problems after release... in a lot of ways Gearbox could have gotten around to this a LOT faster too. Like it took them 2 months to patch The Bee and this happened after the second DLC pack released on consoles.
I don't recall hearing anything about that, but if it's more outsourced c...
They just increased the drop rate of a weapon type... not exactly like they're bending over backwards to support fans. I mean it's appreciated, though it's not really much of anything.
The demo of Metal Gear Rising wasn't perfect, but it definitely showed potential. I suggest you try it out if you're worried.
But this isn't a hack and slash, it's a brawler...
I thought NeverDead was a pretty big let down. While most people didn't expect much, I had hopes it would be somewhat different, but it just turned out to be awful in every way...
I've had a Happ and was better than some cheaper Windows solutions and amazing with Eyetv on the Mac. Even after getting my Elgato, I still don't see a huge difference between the 2.
I really hate this paradox that people impose on some long standing series.
While Pokemon sticks to a formula that works and is fun, some people want to change that. However when games actually change the formula / go in another direction, people complain about how they wanted it like before. Biohazard, Ninja Gaiden, FF all changed up the formula and people were angry every time... Why can't we just be happy this one is on the 3DS and move on?
Nope. Atlus kept saying they would, but always extended it.
Yup.
While my channel is generally left alone by companies, I got a copyright notice on the "First 20 minutes" of E.X. Troopers and had my WHOLE VIDEOS sound muted for having a May'n song (games opening). Talk about lame!
Double Dragon Neon really should be on that list, since the trophy popping during the song was a really nice touch.
I don't see whats to be surprised about... in fact I would have guessed this would be the reaction.
When the Wii first came out it was unheard of and offered one of the most universally enjoyed games (Wii Sports) for free with every system. The opposite is true for the Nintendo Wii U, thanks to the popularity of the iPad, Tablet computers and DS / 3DS offering a similar experience already. Sure the Wii U brings some interesting things to the table, but no where near as u...
This has more to do with memories of the past, than diminishing skill.
Like I might remember beating Super Ghouls and Ghosts or Battletoads, but you COMPLETELY FORGET all the times you failed or how hard it really was. We tend to remember everything better than it really was (unless things didn't go well, then it might be a bit worse), but this has everything to do with perception / questionable memories and little to do with skill.
I never got that complaint...
Reviews don't get a free copy, so any hate is over having to buy the game.
Publisher doesn't send out review copies / doesn't send them out early, the game must be worth MSRP and any opinions otherwise are wrong...
Here is the long / short here, Activision didn't send out review copies because they didn't have faith in the title. Though you can keep thinking whatever you want...
But Drake can swim...
Like a lot of these terms, the meaning depends on the individual and not the actual term in question.
Like every Tales game I've played isn't turn based, but people would 100% consider it a JRPG. The same goes for Ni no Kuni, since there isn't any "turns" past cool downs, so it's up to you really.
It is, but at the same time it isn't.
You can't legally call anything a limited edition without first establishing the edition size. Here is an example of this happening in Japan ( http://operationrainfall.co... so the terms DO mean something.
Just because you can in THEORY find a copy, it doesn't instantly make the game co...
