The Blacksite demo was one that made sure that I would never rent, but, or recommend that game. Seriously I don't know what they were thinking. It's like when a movie stinks they don't hold advance screenings so they can at least bilk the suckers on the opening weekend. That's how you're supposed to do it :)

I don't use it because I'm happy without it. But having played around with it I can see how someone with serious gaming skills could have an advantage in the Warhawk by mastering it.

I don't think many people use it.

Acknowledging that they are parodying him (which is sort of obvious) is acknowledging that he's a whacko like the character in the game. Otherwise you can't draw a comparison. Anything for a bit of attention.

Rock Band has Tom Sawyer man. You get to sing REALLY high!

yeah. I tried to learn that about 10 years ago. I could do the chorus etc just fine, but the intro is murder.

I hope it's true - I've been waiting to purchase 2 more controllers for party gaming.

If it is true, it's not like it's the first time they did it. The original PS controller underwent a massive revision as well and I don't think people minded that much as it went on to be one of the most successful consoles of all time.

Good Comment. I agree Kutaragi should never have been out in front the way he was. His designs have changed the industry - he's a visionary engineer, but he's no PR man. It's sad that what people seem to remember him more for now is some of his less well advised quotes regarding the PS3.

Even with the actual and supposed exclusives that Sony has "lost" they still have a really impressive forthcoming line-up due to their massive worldwide studios and loyal 3rd party de...

But what about Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma!

LOLZ.

I know they go fast. But I think part of the reason is that when certain people see them they snatch them all up and sell them for a little bit more on eBay or Amazon or whatever. I just think, regardless of demand, not sorting your supply channel out 10 months from launch is a bit much. There should be enough supply that scalping isn't worthwhile.

That whole game should be on the list! SotC - one of the best games ever!

One of the things I really liked about Resistance was that your starting weapon remained useful the whole game. Same is true for Bioshock. I think that kind of thing shows well thought out design.

When he says "unprecedented supply" does he mean a store might have one in stock - because where I live that would be unprecedented.

I've seen one once in one store here since launch - I always look if I'm in a store that sells games just out of curiosity. One, at Walmart, once. Maybe they'll have two in December!

;)

Wow, I haven't seen a texture-less Big Daddy yet, but I've seen splicers and lots or corpses. I think the first nitro splicer that blew himself up in front of me blew his textures off. That was pretty confusing.

I do think there's too much texture pop-in, but it hasn't really affected the gameplay experience too much for me. I think that, when a game is this good, you see those kinds of glaring errors and it's just like WTF? How can they have such high standards with everything...

If you stock up on Wrench related tonics the way that I have it does serious damage - more than anything except for the grenade launcher. The only major caveat is range, but getting in close is generally pretty easy because of the environment. I forgot to mention before that I also have the Bloodlust tonic which gives me health for inflicting damage with the wrench. Most of the time when I kill a splicer with the wrench I either lose no health or gain some health.

Wasn't Wii Play tantamount to a quickie cash-in sequel? I know they didn't call it Wii Sports 2 or anything, but it was certainly trying to capitalize on the success of Wii Sports - and it's borderline shovel-ware.

Thanks! I wanted to make sure it was legit first, but here's your reward.

For anybody else who's wondering - that link totally works.

I've found that a combination of proximity mines, frag grenades and armor piercing machine gun rounds in a fully upgraded machine gun make light work of the Big Daddies on Normal - haven't played Hard yet. But seriously, this way takes maybe 30 seconds to finish one off from when he starts attacking.

As far as the wrench goes - I'm using Wrench Jockey, Wrench Jockey 2, Sport Boost 2, and Wrench Lurker 2 - and the wrench is the only weapon I use against anything but Big Daddies...
