Welcome to n4g!
The new store is great - people need to quit whining about it. It has to cache a TON of new images - have a little patience.
<--- Baleeted! On the the European store! :)
I'm still holding out on getting a Wii as well though I would like to play Zelda and Mario. I could see paying $150 US for one, but $250 is just too much for so few games.
Isn't that like saying "what's the point of tiny, low-power chips with massive storage"? It's just an example - I don't think they would expect anyone to actually put 3,500 movies on an iPod.
IBM has stated they don't expect it to come to market for 10 years. It's actually in this article at the very end.
Don't they mean FEET-on?
I think you mean Pey'j ;)
We know that Michel Ancel is working on a "secret project" that some folks think is BG&E2.
So, I played the first one - I didn't finish it because it was unclear what I was supposed to be doing and it got really boring trying to figure it out - lots of people say how awesome it is/was, but they never say much about why. Why was it so great? I'll grant the story, voice-acting, music etc., but the gameplay didn't really get me going.
They shouldn't have even released 8b1. It's totally broken unless you use it in IE7 mode. One possible saving grace is that the Developer Toolbar is (very) slightly improved, but the whole point should be to help developers get ready for 8 - and at that it fails mightily.
Yeah - i've been having trouble connecting intermittently all day. Seems like the server is down at the mo'.
I don't think I'll miss it - I didn't hate it or anything, but the new one looks well improved.
The Playstation Blog seems to be down - I haven't been able to hit it for a few minutes. Maybe it's being updated.
EDIT: NVM - it came back, no change.
I wonder what the "Unknown" button will do!
But seriously, let's all reserve deciding how much we love or hate the control scheme until we actually get to play the game.
I'm sure it will be on PSN eventually, but they aren't updating it again until next week when the new store launches - supposedly the 17th.
I think people think it's newsworthy because they thought there would be a large, mandatory install.
What's their logic?
Spending 1 minute pre-ordering a game = waste of time, spending 100+ hours playing that game = not a waste of time?
I think not killing black zombies would be more racist than killing them - kinda like Affirmative Action. The aim is equality, but in practice it's just special treatment. Zombies of all races should have access to equal opportunity extermination.
It can take a little getting used to if you've been using Windows for years and years, but it's like a breath of fresh air. Time Machine rules.
Did you just try over and over? Ha! I was going to say "coz it's not working for me" but I just got a code! Sweet Nectar!!
