I think it's pretty hard to top that Gundam game that came out at launch - it looked like a PS2 game.
The patch is no big deal - just p2p and go make a bunch of sandwiches. The Konami ID on the other hand was a royal pain to get and to confirm.

The video is a WMV - it's pretty funny that it doesn't seem to work for some people in Windows. It ran for me no problem in Safari on my MacBook (I use Perian and Flip4Mac).
Anyone who pays $100 for an HDMI cable is a moron. It's digital! Sure a $1 cable that's falls apart if you drop it on the floor isn't as good as a $15 one that doesn't, but your picture will NOT be any better with a $100 HDMI cable than a $15 one.
you just need the Konami ID and Game ID for playing - starting on the 21st. You can download the beta with your code and then run it to install the patch.

I made a (now deleted) Japanese one last week and had no problems with the servers. I didn't think I'd get into the US beta (I did) so I didn't make a US one. Hopefully they'll sort it out in the next day or so - before the beta starts.
I hope so - because the way it is now is RIDONKULOUS! :)
You can't even play it until Monday. If Konami hasn't sorted you out by then then go ahead and throw a tantrum, but at least give them a chance to take care of you first.

It's not going to be in the Store. You go to Account Management > Transaction Management > Enter PlayStation Card or Promo Code - then enter your 12 digit code and voila.
I haven't heard that it's available for EU store yet, just US. Should be tomorrow if it's not already.
Just make sure they have the DVD for people who pre-order - the code is in the case.
It's cheaper than a Wii-mote + nunchuck or a 360 wireless + a charge and play kit - so what's the problem?
