It's like the closer Killzone 2 gets, the longer the wait. Anyways, Killzone 2 comes out at the perfect time for me because on Feb. 27th, I get out for Spring Break. Killzone 2 + Spring Break = Gaming Goodness ;)
The last thing I think that's going to happen is MGS4 going multi.
MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive and if anyone wants it, you have to buy a PS3, simple as that. Personally I think Kojima crushed the MGS4 to 360 rumors in this article for good:

The only people that I think will be renting Killzone 2 first are people that didn't really like the controls or how the game felt and it's slower pace.
Pretty much everyone else that played the Killzone 2 Beta and people that loved the Demo are going to be buying Killzone 2 day one, and the 1.1 million pre-orders in Europe alone is just a testame...
I have to agree and disagree at the same time.
I do think that Eurogamer might have been a little spoiled by a shooter of the calibur Killzone 2 and then when they started playing FEAR 2 their initial reaction of FEAR 2 might have been a little underwhelming, but I don't think that F.E.A.R. 2 deserves a freakin' 5 when Eurogamer gave the first game a 9.
But I do agree with you when you said if Eurogamer didn't play KZ2 first, they might have given FEAR 2 a higher sco...
Damn, that's a surprisingly low score... The Official Playstation mag. gave it a 8 (4/5), but a 5/10 almost seems to low.
Eurogamer gave the first F.E.A.R a 9/10, but the second a 5??!! I think Eurogamer needs to re-evaluate the guy that did that review.
Sometimes I think reviewers can be a little too harsh on some games... I personally haven't played the FEAR 2 demo, but from the footage I've seen, I think that it's a solid 8 or 8.5.
I wasn't disappointed by the VGA God of War 3 trailer and was impressed with what I saw. Seeing Kratos in HD for the first time was awesome and I don't see how a fan could be disappointed with that.
It was Jaffe hyping up the game and then it turned out that the VGA trailer didn't look as good as Jaffe was hyping it up to be, but I'm sure that soon enough, we'll see what Jaffe saw, and obviously what Jaffe saw was more up-to-date footage.
Damn, I didn't think February could get any better, but Killzone 2 and new God of War 3 info in the same month?! Definantly can't wait.

The only thing that I'm really worked up about when it comes to Tekken 6 is not the game coming to the 360, but the fact that it was delayed almost a year just so it could coincide with the 360 release because Tekken 6 was supposed to come out around Dec. 2008 or sometime around that time frame.
After reading the interview, I guess the PS3 will have some kind of exclusive content or it will be the better version because it was built from the ground up on the PS3, and we all know ...
The early months of the year are usually slow months and you can't really blame one console or group of consumers. Piracy on the PC is one thing, but Piracy on the 360 isn't that big.
The Summer and Later months in the year are usually the biggest time for most electronics anyways. I think the games that aren't AAA status or games that aren't Must Have's will suffer the most in sales this year, but I think most major games being released and big franchise games will be just fine....

....Wow, that's a pretty low Xbox 360 prediction considering the price. I was thinking that the 360 might sell around 300K-350K in January's NPD and I pretty much agree with Patchers prediction of PS3 and Wii sales.
As long as the PS3 sells over 200K (or close to 200K) while still being $399, I think it'll be just fine.

.... And Killzone 2 will convince many other people to buy a Playstation 3 as well.
I already know that a lot of people have been waiting for a PS3 game to prove to them that it's worth the $399 price tag, and to me just Killzone 2 alone justifies it, and that's not including other quality PS3 exclusives like Rachet, Uncharted or MGS4.
And the article states that KZ2 has been in development for 5 years, and that's a little inaccurate... it's more like 3-4 years.... A...
The only other PS3 game I can think of that actually came out in Europe before the U.S. is GT5 Prologue.... it definantly took a while to get used to a game coming out in Europe before the States.
Anyways, you guys in Europe also get the Killzone 2 Steel Case Edition, but us guys in the U.S. don't, and that just SUCKS. I plan on Importing the KZ2 Steel Case Edition anyways because I just must own it... and yes, that means I'm buying 2 copies of KZ2, one U.S. version and the Steel...
