I don't know what the heck the people hating on GOW3 are talking about when they say it's disappointing visually. It's only disappointing to them because they won't be playing it.

Yeah, those are all games that I've really wanted to play on the PSP because I'm a fan of Killzone, Jak and Daxter, and God of War, so I just MUST own a PSP for the portable versions.
I read in some reviews that Killzone Liberation can be REALLY hard and you'll probably be dying a lot, but I'm always up to a challenge.
This is a really awesome milestone in PSP history. I just really wished the PSP had more 3rd party support like the DS though because if the PSP did, I think it would be giving Nintendo's DS a run for it's money big time.
I'll admit that I don't have a PSP yet, but I'm going to eventually get one for Killzone Liberation, God of War Chains of Olympus, Daxter, and a few other games.

You may not be impressed with how GOW3 looks now, but if you've noticed the development cycles of PS3 exclusive games and how they evolve and change during various stages of the development process, you'll automatically know that the final version of GOW3 will look much better.

The cheapest PS3 is still $399, and I didn't expect the PS3 to sell more in Jan. 2009 compared to Jan. 2008.
If the cheapest PS3 was $299 or $349 and sales were decreasing Year-over-Year, then it would be something for Sony to be concerned about, but even at $399 the PS3 managed to crack the 200K mark, and until the PS3 gets a price cut sales will probably continue to decrease Year-over-Year monthly.

Wow, I'm almost surprised the PS3 sold over 200K. I was thinking that it might not hit 200K considering the economic climate and it's price, but it's still selling at a pretty consistent rate.

Both Wardevil and Quantum Theory could convince 3rd party devs.
Quantum Theory already has a lot to prove though because it's always going to be compared to Gears and I think it's gonna be tough for a Japanese dev. like Temco that hasn't done a shooter before to get it as good as a Gears of War game, but I hope they pull something off really amazing.

I agree with Todd. In KZ2 they got a lot of the little things right that make FPS games great, and KZ2 to me it's one of the most cinematic shooters to date.
But realistically, there's only so much that you can do with a FPS game and I really don't see why people are complaining about KZ2 not being anything "drastically" different because I'm pretty sure that COD4 Modern Warfare 2 isn't going to be that much more different than the previous games.

I'm actually having some high hopes for Wardevil. Considering that the dev's working on it has gotten the game to look so amazing graphically, it makes me assume that they know what they're doing with the PS3 and they are really pushing the system.
Since there has been little to no info of this game at all, I'm not sure if it'll be released in 2009, but Wardevil in 2009 and then God of War 3 in 2010 (most likely) would be awesome.
Since people in the U.S. could get their hands on the demo WITHOUT pre-ordering KZ2 because they could just download it from the EU store, my guess is that they just didn't pre-order it and will be getting it on release day instead.... however, I pre-ordered mine from Amazon.com with Release Date delivery
