I don't think it has anything to do with Eight Days possibly being alive and kicking... it's pretty much like a Personal Portfolio of some of his work.

I already know I'm going to get disagree's for saying this, but at this point, I don't really think that there's a need for Eight Days, because Uncharted is pretty much doing what Eight Days was going for... the only difference I see is that there were various stunt moves in Eight Days, but the gameplay between them is pretty much...

There may not be a Sony owned franchise on this list, but Metal Gear Solid sure is: "Metal Gear Solid (Konami) $ 77 million" and since the ONLY Metal Gear Solid game released in 2008 was ONLY on the PS3, some credit should definantly be given to the PS3 and Sony for raking in all that money for Konami.

MGS4 was arguably the biggest PS3 title in '08, and by far the best selling PS3 title in 2008, and for that reason, I'm not really surprised there isn't any Sony owned ti...

"A redesigned PS3 with "optional wi-fi", less ports, cheaper materials should be the way to go."

I have to slightly disagree because I think that Sony prides themselves in being able to offer Built in Wifi with EVERY system and not making customers pay for additional add-on's... honestly I think that built in Wifi should come Standard for this generation of consoles. If the Wii has Wi-fi, there's no excuse for HD consoles not to have it.

As far as...

Even if Metal Gear Rising had "360 Exclusive" online play, I wouldn't care because I play the Metal Gear Solid franchise for the Single Player and the Story, not the Online multiplayer.

Plus, Metal Gear Solid is best known for it's deep Storylines, in addition to plenty of engaging and memorable characters... all that goodness is found in Single Player, and that's all I need/desire from a Metal Gear Solid game.

Even if I did have a 360 and the 360 version ...

VG Chartz shouldn't be used as an indicator of how well a game as sold whenever there hasn't actually been any REAL/Official numbers yet from NPD.

As far as Prototype goes, I might get it sometime in the future whenever it's a LOT cheaper (at least $30-$40) because I'm definantly not spending $60 bucks for it, whenever according to numerous reviews, doesn't even look as good as inFamous graphically.

With the amount of hype Prototype was getting before release, I defi...

No, that wouldn't make me go buy a 360 even if Activision did stop publishing games on the PS3. I don't play Guitar Hero, I've never bought a Call of Duty game, and I haven't bought a single game published by Activision this gaming generation yet.

For PS3 only owners that play Call of Duty/Guitar Hero and love it, that may make them buy a 360 if it's no longer on the PS3, but the last game that I even bought published by them was a Spiderman PS2 game back in 2002 or 2003, so it w...

"People with brain realize that there's absolutely no point spending money in a port for PS3 which is likely to sell 60% less than the lead SKU (Xbox 360) version."

Call of Duty 4 on the PS3 sold over 3 million copies, does it really matter if the PS3 version sells less even though games on the PS3 are still making money for a publisher? Then you add the fact that numerous publishers have reported on making more money from the PS3 in comparison to the 360 over the past ...

Well honestly, we weren't really supposed to know about Metal Gear Solid coming to the PSN so soon, and Konami didn't exactly plan on making "announcements of announcements", but once Playstation Lifestyle leaked it months ago (along with Final Fantasy VII and Resident Evil coming to PSN), we all knew about it.

I was waiting for a possible Trophy patch to play through MGS4 again, but if a Trophy Patch wasn't announced by now, it's probably not gonna happen, so I'm going...

I still think that GT5 will come out in Japan by the end of 2009 with Western releases in early 2010.

As far as GT5 not being playable at E3.... well to me that doesn't exactly confirm that it's not coming out in 2009 because in an interview at E3 Kazunori said that GT5 can probably be released at anytime now, so obviously the game is in a near finished state if he said that.

And really, it didn't exactly need to be playable at E3 because it's not like people don't k...

If Activision was to drop PS3 support, they'd only be putting themselves in a worse position financially, and just like many other people have said, it's just a bluff to me as well.

This generation isn't like the PS1 and PS2 era where many 3rd party developers could just support ONE major console because that console had the vast majority of the market share and still make a huge profit.

Now-a-days, there's just no way a major 3rd party multi-platform developer can d...

@n4g-gamer,

I think Creeping Judas was just implying that once GT5 drops, it's gonna be HUGE, especially in Europe. It will be really big in Japan as well, and it will move some major systems.

If GT5P (a glorified demo) got over 1 million pre-orders in Europe alone, the impact the full game will have just in Europe will be multiplied many times over.

Holiday 2010, are you serious?

Just in case you missed it, at E3 Kazunori said that right now, GT5 can probably be released anytime... that doesn't exactly imply that it's coming over an entire year later in Late 2010 to me.

http://www.n4g.com/psp/News...

As far as GT5 not being playable at E3, GT5 will most likely run off of the GT5P engine, and since GT5P has been released over a year a...

Kazunori said at E3, GT5 can pretty much released any time now, so there's definantly a chance GT5 can be released in at least 1 territory in 2009 (most likely Japan) even though there was no date at the end of the trailer they showed at E3.

This is just a placeholder date from a retailer, NOT a date from Sony so if Sony confirms at TGS that GT5 isn't coming out until 2010 for Europe and the U.S., I don't want to hear anything about it being "delayed" like those other d...

"Why the hell have you spent $2800 on HDTV's boasting 1080p and 120Hz only to watch SD content?.lol. please explain"

Probably because he's a 360 fan and doesn't want to buy Blu-ray's JUST because Blu-ray is associated with the PS3. If his 360 had a built in Blu-ray Drive like the PS3, I bet he'd be buying Blu-ray's then.

Personally I would never spend all that money on HDTV's and not buy HD movies. I have my 40 inch 1080p Samsung HDTV and I'm enjoying Blu-r...

Bought GT5 Prologue the day it first came out, but I'll definantly pick up Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction at the cheaper price... I never got into the Ratchet franchise on the PS2 (preferred Jak and Daxter), but I've waited long enough and now is the time to make the jump... I'll eventually get the PS2 versions of Ratchet as well.

But, I think might wait until the Greatest Hits Edition of Tools of Destruction actually releases first, because I want to make sure the Greate...

Wow, I had NO IDEA that Team Bondi was founded by the former director of Sony's Team Soho.... now that I know this, L.A. Noire being PS3 exclusive sounds more and more likely, but then again I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced for another platform at a later date.

I'm starting to get the feeling that this Team Bondi studio is something like Jaffe's EatSleepPlay studio... Jaffe was a former Sony employee, just like the guy that founded Team Bondi, and Jaffe has a Exclusive...

I'm definantly not a Trophy Whore because I've always been playing games over and over again for my own personal satisfaction way before Trophies and Achievements even existed but I've been holding off on playing through MGS4 again just to wait and see if a Trophy Patch will come through.

A few months after I beat MGS4, I did a Speed Run about Half-way through the game, and it may sound crazy, but I WANT to watch all of those cutscenes again while playing MGS4 (I skipped them for...

This game, in addition to Dragon Age Origins will be the RPG's I'll be getting this Fall.

I've heard great things from Demon Souls and hope that games of this quality become the norm from From Software instead of the sub-par average games that have plagued them for quite sometime until now.

For the first several days that inFamous was out in May, I thought it did well, especially for a new IP and it being a Single Player game, because the amount of people buying Single Player games (especially if they aren't RPG's) has dwindled a lot, but I'm still one of those people that will buy a Single Player game if it's something I'm really interested in, regardless of price.

With that said, I picked up inFamous day one and still loving this game. I've almost completed my fir...
