The Japanese aren't dumb enough to fall for such tactics. Remember that article last week from Kotaku with the Poll asking Japanese gamers why they don't buy the 360? The Japanese consumers are very aware of the 360's image, unlike most consumers in the West.
Plus, the Japanese know which console is getting Final Fantasy XIII in Japan, and pretty much the only system that will matter to them is the one that has FFXIII AND Versus XIII, end of story.

What I'm most interested about, is whether both Sony and Microsoft's Motion Sensing controller will function pretty much the same, or if the motion sensing between them both will be slightly different.

I would pay $849-$1099 for a Mac Book Pro, but probably not for a standard MacBook like the one discussed in the article. I'm in Graphic Design, and Mac almost always the most recommend computer of choice, and they are the only computers in my College Graphic Design classes, so eventually I'll need to get one.

I'm definantly excited about the possibility of new Hitman game from Eidos... Hitman Blood Money didn't come out on the PS3 and I've been wanting a PS3 Hitman game for ages.
EA bringing back SSX is good and all, but pretty much the only thing I want from EA is BLACK 2 and DeadSpace 2.

Yeah I agree, Gran Turismo definantly should have been somewhere in the top 10... I mean, Gran Turismo has been Sony's best selling 1st party title EACH generation.... yeah I know that sales alone don't make a game great, but in many ways Gran Turismo paved the way for the Racing Sim genre on consoles.
I was thinking the person that complied this list would have FFVII at either number 1 or 2, but I'm glad to see he chose MGS for the top spot.
God of War 3 and M.A.G. weren't listed under SCEA, but I have no doubt that both of those games will be at E3. Polyphony Digital had better bring GT5 because I want some updates on the game and release date window.
It looks as though neither Nintendo or Microsoft has anything confirmed yet, but obviously they'll have something... there's still a month left. My guess is Microsoft might have Alan Wake, Halo 3:ODST, Forza 3 and a new title from Rare.

Good Graphics can only go so far, and if a new console launches in 2011 that only has Good Graphics compared this this gen., a lot of people aren't going to jump up and buy it immediately because AMAZING graphics are being pumped out by the PS3 and 360.
If there isn't some new way in which we interact with games/play games, I don't think there needs to be a new console AT ALL because just better graphics isn't gonna cut it, there needs to be something else in the mix.

At E3, I'd imagine that Guerrilla might announce the next Killzone 2 DLC, and since they hinted at the next DLC being "Retro", some Killzone 1 maps will probably be making an appearance in Killzone 2, and I definantly can't wait for that because I really love a lot of the maps in KZ1.
More than likely I won't be downloading the InFamous demo because I've never played the demo for any Single Player game before I bought it this generation... pretty much all I need to see for a Single Player game to tell if I'm going to buy it or not is Gameplay footage and the Story, and I've seen plenty of InFamous gameplay footage, and so far I've liked what I've saw, so it's a definite purchase in my book.

I tend to get suspicious about a game being a FLOP if there's little to hardly anything at all shown from the game and/or no major developer interviews for a very long time after the game has been announced.... I could state the games I feel that fall into that category, but I'm not starting a flame war.
A developers track record could also be a way to tell if a game will flop or not... but a lot of times you can't always rely on that because Guerrilla had a very average track re...
This is Naughty Dog were talking about, one of the premier Sony 1st party developers, when they do something, they do it right.
And like Casey pointed out, Naughty Dog's internal studio itself GREW and they hired additional guys just to handle the Online portion of the game, Evan Wells pointed that out in his post on the Playstation Blog. And, if Naughty Dog EVER needed assistance they could always drop a line to Guerrilla or Insomniac.

Pretty much the only franchise I've been interested in from Capcom is Megaman... Megaman Legends 3 is pretty much the only thing I want from Capcom.
I never owned a Dreamcast, but remembered playing Powerstone at a friends house back in the day and really loved that game. It would be amazing to see them bring the old Powerstone games to the PSN/XBLA... or better yet, a next-gen PowerStone sequel.
I still have Maximo Ghosts to Glory for PS2, and played the heck out of the game, but don't have the sequel (Army of Zin) yet.... I remember playing a demo of the sequel, but never picked it up.
This is one franchise that I'd love to see take a jump to PS3/360.

I think that plenty of God of War 3 footage for E3 was pretty obvious.... Sony Santa Monica hinted that the release date would be announced at E3, so I can't wait.... and I will be watching all the footage.
Looking at game footage really isn't spoiling the game for me, just as long as there isn't a crucial plot in the story shown... and since God of War 3 is a very heavily story driven game, I'm pretty sure Sony Santa Monica will be very careful of what they'll show.
