That bastard Stephen didn't even say that Sony officially announced God of War 3.

Anyways, What's the point of Wii Music if you can't loose? There is no challenge in a video game at all if it's not possible to mess up. What drives people to play video games over and over again is the challenge to do better and achieve more goals. Video games would become boring if it wasn't possible to loose in my opinion.

Wii Music must be for a game for Babies or something beca...

The Playstation 3 version is not going to get gimped because development of the Xbox 360 version wont start until FFXIII for the PS3 is released in Japan first, so in other words, the quality of the PS3 version wont be affected.

If Final Fantasy XIII was being in development at the same time as the Xbox 360 version, then yes, the PS3 version could have been held back, but it's not the case.

The United States and Europe PS3 versions will look exactly the same as t...

All I've got to say is that I'm glad I was an early adopter and got my 60GB PS3 a month after launch. I definantly wanted Backwards compatibility in my PS3.

There are plenty of PS2 owners that still have their PS2's, so I guess they'll have to just hang on to those PS2's if they want to get PS3's and still be able to play PS2 games.

I just hope that whenever people see these new 80GB PS3's this Fall, they aren't expecting to get Backwards compatibility because I ...

It was very unique how Sony incorporated LittleBigPlanet into the presentation. While I was watching it yesterday, I had a smile on my face the entire time while watching it live. The possibilities with LBP are just endless.

Killzone 2 is shaping up pretty damn good. Feb. 2009 is so close... but yet it's so far away. It's a must buy for me.

If MGS4 was ever going to come out on the 360, Konami would have announced it at E3. MGS4= PS3 Exclusive, thanks Kojima. MGS4 in it's current state isn't possible on the 360 anyways.

I truly think that Microsoft should have at LEAST showed off one 1st party title for 2009, but they didn't even do that. Sony showed off two 2009 1st party titles: MAG and God of War 3.

Microsoft needs to stop spending so much money on 3rd party and focus more on 1st party games.

Alan Wake probably wont be out until mid- late 2009.

And I almost forgot about Splinter Cell Conviction too.

Honestly I think that Microsoft is trying a little too hard to attract Casual gamers by changing the Interface. If Microsoft wants to attract more casual gamers, they should start releasing more casual game titles.

Microsoft doesn't realize that just by changing the interface, they wont be attracting any more casual gamers than they already have because it takes lots of casual games to attract casual gamers and they are all on the Wii. Banjoe and Viva Pinata are nice casual gam...

PS3 is catching up the 360 and eventually it will. All Microsoft has left is the United States and a little bit of Europe. Once Final Fantasy XIII comes out in Japan for the PS3, that's when PS3 sales in Japan will really take off.

The Blu-ray in the PS3 is just another selling point that Microsoft wont have. The Playstation 3's higher price point is EASILY justifiable just because of Blu-ray and built in Wifi.

The only way that Microsoft could realistically use Blu-ray is a Blu-ray Add-on because installing Blu-ray in the 360 would jack up the price, and I doubt that many people would even buy the Blu-ray Add-on... plus, the Xbox 360 isn't the most quiet or reliable console for watching movies anyways.

Sony is spending the majority of their money on 1st party games and that's what they should be doing. Microsoft is going around wasting money on 3rd party games that end up on the Playstation 3 when they should be using that money to develop new 1st party titles or new IP's.

That 50 million they spent for DLC for GTA4 could have been a brand new IP... what a waste.

Now I see why Guerrilla didn't want to spill all the beans about Killzone 2's multiplayer earlier this year. The game is definantly going to have some deep multiplayer, it's a must buy for me on day one.

To be honest, I'm not surprised because there is that "Secret PS3 game" out there that was shown behind closed doors a few months ago and it's probably that game.

I don't know why in the world Sony didn't just blow the whole place down yesterday and show this game.

Team Ico PS3 game?
New Naughty Dog game?
Brand new IP?
Dark Cloud 3?

I can't wait to find out what it is, but if I was to make a choice, I would hope that ...

I'm very interested to see how well the PS3 sold in June. With those Wal-mart deals and the 80GB PS3 MGS4 bundle selling out everywhere, PS3 sales should be pretty damn good.

I know one thing for sure, once Final Fantasy XIII and other JRPG's come out in Japan, PS3 sales will probably increase by several million in one year in Japan because the ONLY thing holding back PS3 sales in Japan is the lack of JRPG's.

Microsoft doesn't have any more system sellers left, a...

You wont be playing FFXIII on the 360 until 2010 at least.

I think that Sony had an overall better presentation and it was more engaging, like the integration of LittleBigPlanet into Tretton's presentation.

Sony was the ONLY ones that actually made people in the crowd gasp. Whenever Tretton said that God of War 3 is coming to the PS3, people in the audience gasped.

The Final Fantasy XIII on 360 announcement was huge, but it wasn't a Microsoft 1st party game. If Microsoft had shown off a new trailer for Alan Wake or one o...

SquareEnix had never intended for FFXIII to be released on the Xbox 360 in the first place, they only did it because of the PS3's lower install base. SquareEnix even released a statement saying that they had no plans of putting another Final Fantasy game on the Xbox 360 at all.

I wouldn't say that "all" of the future Final Fantasy games will be multiplatform because Final Fantasy Versus XIII is staying Exclusive to the Playstation 3, and if the 360 isn't getting Versu...

Killzone 2 to me is not just "another FPS" because Killzone has it's own identity. There is no other shooter that has enemies like in Killzone. If you put Killzone 2 and Call of Duty 4 side-by-side, they would look like 2 different kinds of shooters. COD4 is more realistic in the sense that you are fighting normal humans, but Killzone 2 is Sci-fi Realistic because the majority of the weapons are actual real weapons, but there's some Sci-fi futuristic elements too it as well.

Final Fantasy XIII will bomb on the Xbox 360.

There's not that many people that own Xbox 360's that actually play JRPG's. The majority of 360 owners that play RPG's play Western RPG's.

Final Fantasy XIII will easily sell millions of PS3 units in Japan and it will sell millions of copies in Japan on Day 1 because the launch of FFXIII in Japan would be like a Halo 3 launch in America.

I'm not sure how well FFXI sold on the 360, but I don't think it d...
