Sony had a nice showing at E3. One thing for sure, Sony's press conference was a lot better than Microsoft's. If it wasn't for the FFXIII on 360 annoucement, Microsoft wouldn't have had much of an E3 at all.

I wanted to see a few more PS3 games that weren't there, but the God of War 3 trailer made everything a whole lot better. E3 isn't over yet, so there's plenty of time for more announcements.

They officially announced it, but I would have liked to see "2009" at the end of that trailer. Hopefully God of War 3 is going to be released next year but I doubt it's coming March 2009 because Infamous is coming Spring 2009. Either way, I can't wait for it!

And at least Sony showed off some 1st party 2009 Exclusive games because that's something that Microsoft didn't do at all.

Whenever that was announced I almost couldn't believe it.

People have been literally screaming for more 80GB PS3's and now that they can get it for $399, sales are going to go up because it's been in very high demand.

Those rumors about the 40GB PS3 being "replaced" were actually true and it's good news to hear. As long as they keep the Backwards compatibility with the 80GB, it's going to be a hit. Jack said that the 80GB PS3 at $399 will have the same ...

He's right. Exclusive downloadable content is nice, but people that are looking to buy a console don't see downloadable content, they see games on the shelves and it's Exclusive games that matter.

Microsoft buying exclusive downloadable content isn't going to help them sell more 360's, it's just going to make their current user base happy and that's it.

Intercooler? My PS3 has been running fine since Dec. 2006. Plus, PS3's are almost impossible to overheat and have no overheating issues at all.

Nyko shouldn't have even wasted their money developing a PS3 intercooler because it's not even needed.

Microsoft didn't even show off any new games for 2009 or even announce any new games for 2009. Anybody can go into E3 and show off games that people already know about.

The fact that Microsoft didn't show off any new Xbox 360 Eclusive 1st party games for 2009 tells me that when it comes to exclusives, they really don't have that many lined up. I was thinking that Alan Wake would have been there at least, and where the heck was Splinter Cell Conviction?

The only t...

To be honest, I wasn't surprised that Nintendo didn't have that much exciting stuff because there was little to no hype at all surrounding Nintendo's E3.

If it wasn't for FFXIII Microsoft's press conference would have been pretty "meh", but the new additions to Live were O.k.

Sorry but, Sony is going to steal the show.

I woke up late and I wanted to see the Nintendo Press Conference, but once fired up the computer, Reggie said a few more words and it was over. But after reading everything that happened, I can see that I really didn't miss anything at all. Sony press conference up next! They saved the best for last.

The only thing floating Nintendo's boat when it comes to the Wii is Mario, Zelda, and other Wii games with Nintendo characters in them and it was the same way with the Gamecube.

There's a hardcore looking game coming out for the Wii but I forgot what it was called... it was some black and white game, but that's about the only cool looking game coming out for the Wii to me.

Ah, yes. The time has almost finally come. The only thing big Microsoft had was one of our games (FFXIII), but Sony actually going to have some freaking 1st party games to show off, can't wait!

Please Team Ico, be there please.

How is Sony loosing? From what I've noticed, PS3 sales have been rising while 360 sales have been pretty "meh" this year.

What I've noticed about Microsoft is that they aren't a company that is willing to take many risks. Microsoft will sit back and watch another company have success with one product or idea and then come out with their own version of it.

Sony and Nintendo as a company are still move innovative than Microsoft.

Microsoft needs more than Mii like Avatars and a cartoony looking new Dash Board to attract casual gamers, they need a steady stream of casual gaming titles a...

If SquareEnix is going start developing the 360 version of FFXIII while they do localization for the U.S. and Europe PS3 version, I still think that FFXIII is going to be released on the PS3 first in the U.S. and Europe because the development on the 360 version should take longer that it will take for Square to do localization on the PS3 version for the U.S. and Europe.

The only way that I can see Final Fantasy XIII being released on both the PS3 and 360 at the same time in Eu...

The majority of Xbox 360 fanboys boasting about the 360 getting FFXIII aren't even going to buy the game in the first place because the amount of people that actually play JRPG's on the Xbox 360 is very small. Western RPG's like Fallout 3 would fare much better on the Xbox 360 and I agree with this article 100%.

If Final Fantasy versus XIII does in fact stay exclusive to the Playstation 3, those people that are waiting until FFXIII is released to buy a next-gen console are goi...

HOME is more realistic than the cartoony looking avatars on the Xbox 360 and I prefer realism ALL THE TIME.

HOME isn't just for hardcore gamers just because it's not cartoony looking, it's for anyone. Microsoft obviously thinks that HOME is for hardcore gamers just because it's not cartoony looking.

With HOME people can make REALISTIC characters and actually walk around in a virtual world and do something, but you can't do anything with avatars except for change...

Sony probably knew that it was coming, but they probably didn't want to pony up tons of money just to keep it exclusive. People blame Sony for letting FFXIII slip through their hands, but it's not as simple as that because Sony is funding a LOT of 1st party titles and it's not like Sony can just go out and throw out cash just to secure up 3rd party games... it would have taken MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of dollars for Sony to secure FFXIII.

The PS3 version of FFXIII will be releas...

That is EXACTLY what I have been saying ALL DAY.

SquareEnix has been developing FFXIII on the PS3 for YEARS, and they haven't even started on the 360 version yet. It's not like SquareEnix is just going to "post-pone" the PS3 version of FFXIII just to get the 360 version up to speed to where the PS3 version is because that would cost SquareEnix TONS of already spent money and it would take time.

If FFXIII is releasing on the PS3 first, then it will be at...

If Xbox Live is something that just now "finally worth paying for" then I guess before it wasn't worth paying for (and it wasn't).

Most of Microsoft's conference was really nothing but Casual gaming stuff and new Xbox Live features, but of course the FFXIII announcement saved Microsoft from a "meh" showing at E3.

Sony has there own Video Store coming as well as a Music Store, so it's not like Microsoft is just going to bask in the glory with a...

Since FFXIII is now coming to the 360, I honestly wouldn't be surprised to hear that MGS4 would be coming to the 360, but MGS4 has performed well on the PS3 so far, so I can see why Konami might just keep MGS4 a PS3 exclusive. MGS4 was a big budget game, but it was no where near as big as the budget that FFXIII had. If the Playstation 3 had a higher install base, FFXIII would still be a PS3 exclusive because in a article earlier today Square said that the reason why FFXIII is going to be rele...

This is all I have to say, if SquareEnix is releasing Final Fantasy XIII on the 360, they had BETTER release Star Ocean 4 on the PS3.
