Well, of course it should be mandatory, especially in 2009. It's 2008 and the trophy system was just barely introduced a few weeks ago and I don't expect many games in 2008 to support trophies, but there is NO EXCUSE for the PS3 games in 2009 not to support trophies.

They are breaking down the game into squads so that every person has an objective, it's not just going to be 256 players head-to-head with one another. Zipper Interactive were successful with SOCOM and they know how to pull off an Online Game the right way.

I think that the developers should have just called the game MAG and should have just left out the acronym "Massive Action Game" because "Massive Action Game" just doesn't.... sound right.

With MAG it would be like having an entire War going on with 256 players...... it would be like SOCOM with vechicles and airplanes x 200!

I definantly can't wait to find more about this game.

The PS3 is definantly on a role right now. With the introduction of the 80GB PS3 with the same functionality as the 40GB model at $399, the sales should remain pretty strong.

When the Xbox 360's lowest price point is $279.99 and it's not selling at least 300,000 units every month in the U.S., something is wrong because the Wii is just $30 bucks less expensive and sells 600,000+ units every month in the U.S.

Sony should keep coming out with PS3 bundles as well......

Sony is just focused on their 1st party development like they should be. It would have been nice for Sony to secure Final Fantasy XIII, but 1st party is just more important for them and 1st party should always come first.

Loosing Final Fantasy XIII was huge, but the majority of sales from Final Fantasy games come from Japan and in Japan FFXIII is a PS3 exclusive, so there isn't anything to worry about because the PS3 will get the majority of the benefits from FFXIII anyways. ...

Well, it's about time Alan Wake has surfaced, but I'm afraid one of the only games that will matter at the Tokyo Game Show is FFXIII, possibly Team ICO's new game, and other games by Japanese studios. Japanese developed games will be getting the spotlight at TGS from Japanese gamers, Alan Wake should have been at E3.

I think that 2009 will be the PS3's biggest year compared to 2008 because in 2009, the PS3's price will be much lower and there will be even more exclusive games.

If the PS3 has been outselling the 360 for this long while being more expensive, I honestly can't see the 360 beating the PS3 next year at all.

Once Final Fantasy XIII is released in Japan, the PS3 could sell around 1 million units in Japan easily in the first month or two, and once the PS3's price drop...

I wonder why a game like LittleBigPlanet even needs a Beta, but I'm excited about the game though. The possibilities with LBP are just almost limitless.

GameSpot will probably have their own level in LBP as well as some of the other major video game news sites like EGM, and IGN... heck, every video game site could have their own level in LBP and it's going to be fun to check out what they create.

Sony did advertise Uncharted Drakes Fortune a lot. Uncharted sold over a Million Units in just a few months, so it did very well.

Some people didn't buy Uncharted just because it was a Single Player game with no Multiplayer, but usually it's the Naughty Dog fans that end up buying Naughty Dog's Single Player games (like me).

Single Player games usually end up selling less than games with Multiplayer anyways. Once the price on Uncharted drops some, I'm pretty sure...

Alan Wake is being published by Microsoft, so it's no way that it could come to the PS3.

PS3 did amazing in June in the U.S.

The PS3 even sold more than what VG Chartz predicted. Xbox 360 sales rose a "little" bit by just a few thousand, but the PS3 did VERY well. I expected PS3 sales to be around 350,000 for June, but no where near 400,000.

And just think, Metal Gear Solid 4 was just the beginning of the flood of highly anticipated system seller PS3 exclusives.

I wonder what Aaron Greenberg has to say about PS3 sales now.

MGS4 sold pretty darn good in the U.S. for the first month. By the end of the year I'm thinking that it will have sold around 4.5 - 5 million units worldwide.

Miyamoto knows he wants do to some hardcore stuff on the Wii, he might as well just do it.

Miyamoto isn't the only one that might have been impressed Killzone 2 because I want it even more than Resistance 2. And I'm sure that he loved LittleBigPlanet because it's a type of game that would get plenty of Wii gamers running out to the store, but LBP can be enjoyed by both hardcore and casual gamers alike.

Killzone 2 is the last game I thought Miyamoto would be chec...

Nintendo is probably scared to put a Hard drive in a Wii because if they did that, it would jack up the price of the Wii by $50-$75 bucks or even more and they don't want to loose momentuem in sales by having their console more expensive.

Heavy Rain is listed for a 2009 release and I definantly hope it makes it in 2009.

2009 is going to be a stellar year for the PS3 no doubt.

I played the Indigo Prophecy demo YEARS ago on the PS2 and it was pretty interesting, but I never bought the game. Indigo Prophecy was a game where EVERY decision you made affected what would happen next in the game.... if Heavy Rain is like that, then I definantly can't wait to find out more.

If it wasn't for FFXIII being announced on the 360, Microsoft wouldn't have had much of an E3 at all because that was the only thing that even mattered. Everything that was shown from Microsoft mostly was stuff that was already known.

Sony announced and showed off new 1st party titles for 2009 for the PS3, and Sony even surprised everyone with the Resistance PSP game, nobody saw that game coming. Microsoft was just too predictable at E3.

Sony needs to start putting "blockbuster multimillion dollar" support for Ad's for ALL of their upcoming games.

If I was to make one little complain about Sony, it would be their Advertising, but Sony has done a better job of Advertising this past year because I still see MGS4 Ad's and the HAZE Ad's ran for a LONG time.

Sony even had Television Ad's for games that haven't even been released yet such as LittleBigPlanet, and that's a good way to get peop...

The Killzone 2 Public Beta had already been confirmed for this year a few months ago.

But, I Can't wait to put this 4 and a half Cell Processing game into my PS3 and see what my PS3 is truly made of! This is what the PS3 is all about!
