God of War Chains of Olympus wasn't developed by the same studio that developed God of War 2 and the studio that developed God of War 2 has been working on God of War 3 for over a year now.
Sony Santa Monica developed God of War 2 and released it in 2007 and God of War 3 has been in development ever since early 2007 and seeing that God of War 3 will probably require about 2 and a half years of development, it's coming out in 2009 sometime, there is no need to take a guess.
Wow. If MAG does indeed make a Spring 2009 release, the PS3 will be almost unstoppable during the first half of 2009 because Killzone 2, Infamous, and MAG before the first half of 2009!! That's just insane.

The Playstation 3 version of FFXIII will be out LONG before the Xbox 360 version is ever released because development on the 360 version wont even begin until FFXIII is released in Japan. Plus, PS3 gamers can import Final Fantasy XIII from Japan if they want before it comes out in the U.S.
FFXIII will probably be released in the U.S. 6 months after the Japanese release and then by the time Europe gets FF...
If MGS4 was going to be put on the 360 any time soon, Konami would have announced it at E3 this year.
For Metal Gear Solid 4 to even be possible on the Xbox 360, Kojima Productions would have to go back and change TONS of stuff. Porting a game that was built around the Cell and the PS3's Code to the 360 isn't a walk in the park.

Damn, I thought that the full version of GT5 was going to come out in 2009. I wish that Yamauchi just scrapped GT5 Prologue and focused on GT5 the entire time, and maybe the full version would have been out sooner.
If GT5 isn't coming until 2010, the least that Yamauchi could do is release downloadable content each month for GT5 Prologue with new tracks and new cars or something.

Microsoft has been doing a lot of talking about "winning Europe", but I wonder how the heck they are going to "win" Europe when the PS3 is outselling the 360 every week and every month over there, and when the 360 is cheaper than the freaking Wii and the PS3 still outsells it. Microsoft will never "win" Europe if they aren't outselling the PS3 now.

Alan Wake is being published by Microsoft, so it has no chance of coming to the PS3.
Alan Wake isn't coming until next year obviously.... probably mid-late 2009. A Teaser Trailer for Alan Wake like God of War 3 should have been at E3 at least because that way Microsoft could ensure the fans that the game is still coming....maybe Microsoft should just save Alan Wake as their launch title for the Xbox 720.
I think that Splinter Cell Conviction is another 360 title that seems to be in the same situation as Alan Wake and the rumors point to that game being released...
Just because the 360 is selling more Software because of it's larger install base, that doesn't mean that SquareEnix is guaranteed to make tons of money off of the 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII because the 360 audience isn't really the demographic for Final Fantasy games.
Honestly, I think that putting a big budget JRPG game like FFXIII on the 360 is a gamble.
I wouldn't take Microsoft's money if I was a developer and was more focused on making the best game possible with fewer limitations, because a game with few limitations can only be done on a PS3. Even Rockstar Games has told Microsoft to do something about disc space if they want the next GTA game on the 360.

Well, I guess those 600,000 Japanese Xbox 360 owners will just have to buy PS3's if they want to play Final Fantasy XIII! Final Fantasy XIII not coming out on the 360 in Japan only benefits the PS3 even more.
As long as Final Fantasy Versus XIII stays PS3 Exclusive, the PS3 wont be affected by Final Fantasy XIII going multi-plat. because anyboday that wants to play FF Versus XIII will have to make a PS3 purchase. People still see the Final Fantasy series as mostly a Playstation...
I already know that there's more PS3 exclusives on the way because there's a LOT of PS3 games that are currently known about that haven't gotten much exposure such as White Knight Chronicles, Wardevil, Twisted Metal and Heavy Rain. All of those 4 games have 2009 release dates, plus there's Naughty Dog's next PS3 project, Kojima's next PS3 project, and many more.
Hopefully Team ICO's new PS3 game will be at the Tokyo Game Show because that's the one that I'm probably looking for...
The only place where Star Ocean IV will sell impressive numbers is on the 360 in Japan. SquareEnix should know better than to put a JRPG on the Xbox 360 and not the PS3 because JRPG's just belong on the PS3 and the Playstation platform because that's where the userbase for JPG's are.
If Final Fantasy XIII is being put on the 360, Star Ocean IV had better be on the PS3, that's for damn sure. What is SquareEnix thinking? Doesn't Square know that the Star Ocean fans are PS3 owners...
I loved the first Motorstorm, and I always have had Mostorstorm Pacific Rift on my buy list. Evolution Studios sure did a good job by getting out the next installment of Motorstorm in less than 2 years.
Motorstorm kinda reminds me of Burnout 3, and Burnout 3 was like a drug it was so addicting.
It was utterly stupid for Microsoft to leave out Bungie's project. Sony showed off 2 1st party games for 2009 and it would have been the chance for Microsoft to show off one of their big games for the future.
