Why should they feel abandoned for? FFXIII was intended to be a Playstation 3 exclusive all along until just a few days ago, so if they bought a 360, they knew that FFXIII wouldn't be hitting the console, but now that it is hitting the 360, now they feel abandoned?

MAG is a game that has a LOT of potential and it's good that the 1st party PS3 developers are actually trying to push the PS3 to it's limits and are making games that aren't even possible on the Xbox 360.
Even though this game is probably another year or so away, it's still good to know that there's some good PS3 exclusives to look forward to in 2009.

Besides Gears, and 3rd party, those Halo games will be about the only thing that will keep the Xbox 360 alive for the rest of it's lifecycle.

Motorstorm Pacific Rift is a must buy on day one for me. I bought the first Motorstorm went it first came out and loved it, and Motorstorm 2 is just so much more. Motorstorm is pretty addicting to me and it reminds me of Burnout 3.

Even though Bungie is no longer under Microsoft, they will probably be just like Insomnaic and stay independant while releasing games for just one company. Insomniac has already said that they are going to be releasing games ONLY on the PS3 and PSP this generation, and the same thing can probably be said about Bungie, they'll stick with Microsfot because the partnership is already there.

I think that it was good that Sony didn't flaunt Killzone 2 at E3 because it would have only cast a shadow over Resistance 2. Resistance 2 is looking great, but damn, Killzone 2 is just looking even better.
Sony knows that Killzone 2 has a lot of hype around it (probably more hype than Resistance 2) and they don't want to make Killzone 2 seem more important because Resistance 2 needs more exposure and it needs the spotlight.

Metal Gear Solid 4 IS only possible on the Playstation 3. Hideo Kojima even said himself that some of the things in MGS4 "were only possible on the Playstation 3".
I think that MGS4 is going to stay a PS3 exclusive. The only way for MGS4 to even be done on the 360 is if the ENTIRE game was changed and downscaled and that would take probably take 6 months- 1 year or so in development time.

Well, at least the PS3 version wont just be a crappy Xbox 360 port because it's being released first on the Playstation 3 and if the PS3 version is being released first, then it's obviously going to be better on the Playstation 3.... and it's nice to have the game on one disc.
SquareEnix is not going to downgrade the PS3 version at all because the development on the Xbox 360 version wont even start until the PS3 version is finished and is released in Japan.

Sony's press conference was really good and God of War 3 was the perfect way to end it.
I was anticipating a few other games to be shown at E3 from Sony, but other than that, it was great.

Wow. Killzone 2's Online looks like it's shaping up pretty nicely and of course, Killzone 2 is a must buy for me on day one as well as Resistance 2.
To be honest, I don't think that SquareEnix even wanted to put FFXIII on the 360, they ONLY did it just to ensure that the game would sell as much as they would want to because it's such a big budget project and because of the PS3's lower install base.
If SquareEnix is keeping FF Versus XIII a PS3 exclusive, then it's obvious that they didn't really want to put FFXIII on the 360 in the first place.
Personally I think that it's risky for SquareEnix to even release...
Sony is on track to selling 100+ million units with the Playstation 3 just like the PS1 and PS2.
Sony sold around 9.7 million PS3's last year, they expect to sell 10 million units this year, and if the PS3 is going to have a 10 year lifecycle and sells around 10 million consoles each year worldwide, it's 100 million in all.
It's the long lifecycles that make people feel comfortable with buying a Playstation console and that's why Sony has had so much success.
Having 256 players Online at once is NOT too many as long as the game world is VERY huge.
Jack said that even this game is a "work out" for the PS3 and that lets me know that this game is going to be HUGE in terms of scale.
After watching that E3 conference, I think that I can say with some confidence that MGS4 isn't coming to the 360. If Konami had plans to announce a MGS4 for 360 at E3, Sony would have probably knew about it and during the whole conference, MGS4 was boasted as a PS3 exclusive over and over again.

There's not that many people that own Xbox 360's that actually play JRPG's. The majority of 360 owners that play RPG's play Western RPG's.
