I think that once the 80GB PS3 drops in Europe it will have a pretty good reception at retail because the 40GB PS3 has been the only PS3 model avaliable in Europe since last year when Sony discontinued the 60GB model and I'm pretty sure that Europe will jump over the 80GB PS3 once it hits because I'm pretty sure they've been wanting another PS3 model with more hard drive space... plus, the 80GB PS3 will be offered at the same price as the old 40GB model, so how could the demand for it not go ...
Well, even though I know some people are going to disagree with me I have to disagree with this article because I haven't even heard many gaming websites talk about Banjoe that much at all this year. Microsoft showed Banjoe at E3, but it's been pretty much all about LBP since then and LBP has stolen Banjoe's spotlight.
I just think that the new Banjoe game should be more of a traditional platformer like it's predecessors instead of so much of the game being focused on vehicles....
More gaming websites have been talking about LBP that's for sure, heck LBP even got Game of the Show from E3 on some gaming websites. If a game like LBP beat Gears 2 out of Game of the Show at E3 from big gaming websites, I doubt that LBP is just "hyped up Sh!t".
Banjoe is going to be a good game, but it's nowhere as unique as LBP. Anyone that even tries to put down LBP after all the positive press it's been getting are definantly haters.
I think that the title " Rocket Battle Cars" would have been enough because the title "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars" is just a mouthful.
The game looks pretty fun and a little hectic at the same time to me.
The screenshots in Heavy Rain literally blew me away. With screenshots like that in Heavy Rain, I think that Kojima might have even got a little envious! But it's O.k. for Kojima because he'll get another chance to make another PS3 exclusive with his next project and I'm pretty sure it'll come close to matching Heavy Rain in terms of graphical detail. You've got other games like Killzone 2 that are coming closer and closer to the target trailer back in 2005 and the graphics in God of War 3 ar...
I always prefer Physical media when it comes to Movies and Video Games. The only thing that I have no problem with when it comes to Digital Distribution is Music. I haven't purchased a single CD in years, just Itunes downloads.
With Sony rolling out more and more content to the Video Store and games with large hard drive installations becoming more prevalent, a 160GB hard drive built into the PS3 would be pretty nice because movies downloaded in high definition can fill up a ha...
I think Sony had some pretty good announcements the first day, but GC isn't over yet and there's plenty of time for other surprises. For all we know, Sony might be saving a HUGE announcement for the last day of GC.
That's a pretty significant upgrade to the PSP's screen. At first I thought that it was minor, but after reading this, it's much more. The new screen will pretty much ensure better picture and I can't argue with that.
Simply Amazing. If this is what future PS3 games will look like, count me in!
Sony didn't make a mistake by "alienating it's consumers" with the high price point, they made a future proof console and that's what they intended to do all along and Sony knew that it was a risk. Sure the PS3 may not have needed Blu-ray or 8 Processors, but Sony almost always takes things a step further.
Even if those casual PS2 owners got Wii's, so what? There's nothing stopping them from getting a PS3 once the price drops even more. One important thing that Sony s...
Cage sure is secretive about the main story. If he's keeping the story so tightly underwraps it's got to be something amazing in terms of storyline. Now-a-days it's rare that you are able to find a game that has an intriuging story that just sucks you into the game. MGS4, and Heavenly Sword are just a few of the games this Gen. that have been able to pull me into the game storywise and I'm definantly interested to see what Cage is able to pull of in Heavy Rain.
I'm not a big RPG fan, but I remember playing the demo of Legend of Dragoon YEARS ago and I actually enjoyed it.
I definantly think that Sony needs to jump on top of some JRPG's/RPG's and start publishing them. I wish that Sony would acquire Level 5 because that way Dark Cloud 3 would be guaranteed a PS3 exclusive and Sony would have a studio that could be dedicated to developing nothing but RPG's.
What does HOME have to do with Second Life?
HOME will be a Gaming Community and has a much more defined purpose than Second Life did. Have fun with your Mii-like Avatars
So you think it's "Game Over" for Sony with this price cut? I think not.
At this point in time the Xbox 360 needs a much help as it can get seeing that the PS3 has been outselling the 360 in the U.S. almost every month this year and seeing that the demand for the 360 in the U.S. has been pretty low even with the Arcade being at the $279 price point. The only territory Microsoft has left is the U.S. and Microsoft can't win a console war by just outselling the PS3 in on...
What's the point in Microsoft bringing out the 60GB 360 for $349.99 and then dropping the price on it to $299.99 about a month later? That definantly doesn't make much sense to me to do that, but I'm sure some people that bought 60GB 360's at $349.99 will feel ripped off since the price on it dropped so fast.
There's still 3 more days of Leipzeg and there's still the potential for new annoucements to arise from Sony. For all we know Sony could be saving their biggest announcement of all for the last day of Leipzig. I think that Sony had some pretty good announcements today and looking forward to anything else new from Leipzeg.
Microsoft loves X-Play and X-Play loves Microsoft, what else is new?
I've never been a fan of G4 though... the only time I went to G4's website this year was to watch E3 and haven't been back since.
Just because Heavy Rain's gameplay disappointed some nobody on kezins.com it's supposed to be a big deal? Yeah Right. If it was IGN, Gamespot, or GameInformer writing an article like this it would probably actually mean something, but it's coming from some guy on a website I haven't even heard of. I'll judge Heavy Rain for myself when I buy it in 2009.
The majority of people that have PS3's are older gamers and David Cage said that Heavy Rain is something for the adults. I think that people that like RPG's will be able to appreciate Heavy Rain too.
I remember playing the Indigo Prophecy demo for the PS2 a long time ago and I was blown away because it was something that I had never played before or even experienced before and if Heavy Rain is going to be similiar too it, I can't wait for it.
If Infinite Undiscovery will be on 2 discs, I can't imagine how many discs FFXIII will be on for the 360.
I guess it's no big deal that it's going to be a multidisc game, it's just that when games can be put on one Blu-ray disc uncompressed, then it becomes a big deal.
