The PS2's userbase is so frickin huge that it's a little hard for it to just "die", plus, some of the best game franchises were on the PS2 or started on the PS2... heck, there's still some PS2 games that I want to buy that I never got around to buying.

Sony said that the PS2 will have a 10 year lifecycle and it has about 2 more years left to go.

Whenever Sony discontinues the PS2, I think that it will be the saddest moment in gaming for me by far because th...

The Xbox 360 has always been more expensive than the PS3 because by the time you buy everything for the 360 to equal what the PS3 already has, you would have spent more money.

Even though the PS3 is the most expensive system, you get the most value for the money.

I think that Microsoft should at LEAST bundle the Wifi Adapter with the Xbox 360 Pro and/or Xbox 360 Elite model because even the Wii has built in Wifi and it makes no sense for the 360 not to have it, and i...

I remember a few months back, Rockstar released a statement saying that the GTA4 DLC for the 360 was delayed until early 2009, and I guess it's going to stay that way if this end's up being true.

Personally I think that the DLC should have been released for GTA4 no more than 3 or 4 months after the release of the game because by early 2009 or late 2008, not as many people will even care about the GTA4 DLC, but of course some people will download it, just not as many people.

Whenever Sony cancelled The Getaway on the PS3, I was VERY disappointed because I own both Getaway games on the PS2 and loved the hell out of them. I know that The Getaway games got pretty average reviews, but they were still special to me regardless. I hope that Sony plans on bringing it back sometime in the PS3's future.

Well, I guess HOME really is coming this year after reading this HOME announcement for Asia, I just hope the Japanese can learn to embrace Online and community gaming more.

I think that it could be possible for HOME's release date to coincide with LBP's release date or to follow shortly after because LBP will be heavily integrated with HOME and it would make a lot of sense to me if Sony released both within the same time frame.

Very nice interview. I'm totally excited for Team ICO's next project too and I can only hope that they are at TGS this year (they better be). Sony did say that there would be some software announcements at TGS and I hope one of them is Team ICO's PS3 project.

And I'm pretty sure that Sony would never forget the hardcore gamers because Sony originally created the Playstation video game system for the older gamers and they have managed to capture tons of casual gamers in the proces...

I like the gun redesigns/makeovers, especially the Bullseye.

But, what I really want to see more of is footage from the Single Player campaign in Resistance 2. As soon as Gamestop has the Collectors Edition/Special Edition version of R2 avaliable for pre-order, I'm pre-ordering it.

Yeah, EyePet definantly has a lot of potential. If the PS3's price is $299 once EyePet comes out next year, I think that the casual gamers will be going bananas for it.

I definantly want to see more of Infamous. I hope that Sucker Punch adds a little more to the combat in Infamous because I think that just using powers the majority of the time will get a little repetitive.... but Sucker Punch has a good track record so whatever they do should work out pretty well.

And It seems like Guerrilla must be back into Killzone 2 development after seeing that KZ2 isn't going to be at PAX. I hope they polish the hell out of KZ2 and put the critics and hate...

MGS2,MGS3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 had some sad moments, but I think that MGS4 has to top them all when it comes to sad moments in MGS games because there was 2 times in the game when I thought Raiden was going to die or had died after a cutscene, and then I thought Snake killed himself in MGS4, but luckily Big Boss was there... I think that MGS4 is one of the only games that had the biggest emotional effect on me. And seeing Emma die in MGS2 and hearing Ocelot's cries of pain of his loss was t...

This game has been out in Japan since early July and I haven't heard anything about it in the U.S., but now all of a sudden there's articles coming out about the game?

There was no hype to this game at all and I heard literally nothing about a N.A. release for the game, so I could care less.

If the PS3 is so easy to develop for then why wont he make games on the PS3? Ninja Gaiden 2 probably would have sold 250,000- 500,000 units in Japan in the first month if it was released on the PS3.

As a Japanese 3rde party developer, it makes no sense at all for Itagaki to keep his games 360 exclusives, he might as well put them on the PS3 because they would sell double or triple, and most of all, more Japanese gamers could buy his games because there aren't many people in Japan...

I can't stand it when people like this B*tch and moan about stuff they can't control.

As far as the Hi-def cables with the PS3 goes, you can use your old Component cables for the PS2 with the PS3 if you have them. My HDTV didn't come with a HDMI cable, plus, Sony isn't even making money on PS3 sales yet, and I can understand if they don't include a HDMI cable because just the PS3 alone with nothing else for $399/$499 is a good deal.

I do agree that the 360 should...

This cover art was my second favorite, but I liked the other cover art where you see picture Hale holding a gun the most (The second picture on the Poll from yesterday).

And I don't really see the purpose the cover art being different for the same game in different regions, but I'm definantly getting the Collectors Edition version of Resistance 2.

Well personally I wouldn't consider Heavy Rain the "most" important title for next year, but I think that it's the 2nd or 3rd most important title.

I'd have to go with God of War 3 or Killzone 2 as the most important titles for next year for the PS3 that have already been confirmed.

At first I thought that Tales was actually a pretty high calibur JRPG after seeing the reception of it when it released in Japan, but I guess it's on the scale of Average - Good.

I'm definantly looking forward to the PS3 exclusive from Rockstar, but I would really love to see Max Payne 3 almost just as much because the Max Payne franchise was one of my favorite franchises on the PS2 and I really loved the story.

I have to agree and disagree with this review. I think that you brought out some good points though. I think that Heavenly Sword was a very fun game and I was satisfied with the combat. However, I do agree that some of the puzzles in the game really weren't all that great.

But I think that a lot of people tend to overlook the story in Heavenly Sword even though it was a short game. The voice acting and lip synching in the game are just spot on and Heavenly Sword definantly has ...

I have an Ipod Touch (8GB version) too and really love it. Apple is the poster boy for releasing new products every year though, especially the Ipods, but I still love their products.

If the newer Ipod Touch is a lot better than the older version, I might just buy it, but if not, I'll stick with the Ipod Touch that I already have for another year or two.
