The Gaming market isn't anywhere and neither is the PS3. As long as people buy Video games and Blu-ray, the PS3 is going to be around so get used to it. The Playstation userbase is over 100+ million strong, never forget that.
Those kids had almost nothing new to play on that Xbox for years, they should have gotten a PS2... there's ton's better games to be played on the PS2.

The Tales of Vasperia hype will last a good week or two, but after that, Xbox 360 sales will go back to normal in Japan.
The week of MGS4 in Japan, the PS3 put up impressive numbers (over 80,000 units) and the next week PS3 console sales in Japan pretty much returned to normal and the same thing will happen to 360 sales.

When it comes to Xbox 360 sales, I don't think that price really matters. Just because the 360 is cheaper, it doesn't mean that it's going to sell more and we've seen that throught almost every month this year in the U.S. and worldwide this year.

The upcoming games that I plan on buying for the rest of this year are: Fallout 3, Resistance 2, Far Cry 2, LBP, Motorstorm 2, and Dead Space.
I would get SOCOM but it's Online only and I'm not much of an Online guy... I'm not quite sure if I'll get Prince of Persia or Mercenaries 2 yet, but I might... but those are the only games that I have my sights on this Fall and Holiday season.

Well, when it comes to me buying games, I mostly just buy the "must have" games and PS3 exclusives first and foremost...but when it comes to everything else, I just wait until the price drops on it and then buy it.

I think that the score that GameInformer gave Too Human is a pretty good indication of what the other big video game sites will give Too Human... GameInformer is one of the most well known non-baised gaming sites out there and I think that their reviews can be trusted... but from what I've heard about Too Human, it seems like one of those hate it or love it games.
I'm glad that Sony is showing games for 2009 because we already know what's coming for 2008, and it's just good to know what the future holds. I'm definantly crossing my fingers for some surprise announcements from Sony too... maybe a Uncharted 2 trailer or something from Naughty Dog.
Wow, there still is a lot that is to be seen in this generation of gaming... hopefully Sony will implement those in a slim PS3 model... developers are still just scratching the surface with the PS3 and I definantly can't wait to see what PS3 games will be like 3-4 years from now.
Yeah, the PS3 is still selling very well. If the 80GB PS3 MGS4 bundle is selling out at $499 price points, it's a clear indicator that people definantly want PS3's.
