So I guess they are saying don't just immediately jump to the conclusion that Resistance 2 will be the better game because it has 8 Player Co-op with 2 seperate Campaign modes, 60 Player Online, and being 50GB in size. I get what this article is trying to say, but this is next-gen and the scale of games should be much bigger and a sequel to a game should take a step forward from the previous game.

Sony has sold a LOT of PS3's in Europe in a short amount of time and with Sony having the bulk of the show, the interest in the PS3 will remain stimulated in Europe. I wonder how Microsoft plans on winning Europe like they say by not being at a major Game Convention in Europe.

Japan is literally ahead of the entire world when it comes to technology and it comes to no surprise that they have faster Broadband...Japan even has those Bullet Trains that leave the U.S. Amtrak Trains behind in the dust... being able to download an entire movie in 2 minutes would be nice though... lucky Japanese, they get all the newest tech. before anyone else.
That's a good point and I hadn't thought of that.... I do think that the PS3's upcoming games this Fall will sell more PS3's for the simple fact there's a lot of games people are still waiting to come out before buying a PS3.... Metal Gear Solid 4 was one of those games people were waiting for before buying a PS3 and we all saw the impact that it had in June and the 360's biggest game (Halo 3) has already come out and I really don't think the 360 will have many more "system sellers"...
The MGS series is one of the few game franchises in which I really felt connected with the characters.... MGS4 definantly had a lot of emotional cutscenes though.
And in Shadow of the Colossus when Agro fell off the cliff I almost wanted to get up and scream "NOOOOOOOOO!!"... that horse went with you everywhere in the game and you really felt that Agro was "your horse" and it was just crushing to see that... but to see that Agro survived the fall in the last...
This is the reason why I love console gaming. You put in the disc and it's guaranteed to run at it's optimal settings with no need to worry if it's going to run properly or not.
Any game developer that's doing PS3 projects definantly has my attention... and after looking at the concept art for the game, it looks somewhat cartoony, but I think that it falls in the same situation with LBP because those types of games are needed to attract more casual gamers to the PS3. I definantly can't wait for Leipzig.

If it's possible to transfer bought movies from the Playstation Store to the PSP, then movies on the UMD format really aren't needed... Sony should just have a special section on the Playstation Store to download movies especially for the PSP at a cheaper price and that's it.
But I guess it's good to see Sony actually taking control of things and pushing the UMD format.
A lot of PS3/360 games are $99 bucks in Australian dollars... no wonder Austraila is such a small gaming market because it's so expensive.
But, the costs of some games is getting a little ridiculous... the Rockband 2 Special Edition for the Wii is going to be $189.99, but you can buy a Wii console for $60 bucks more... and the Rockband 2 Special Edition for the PS2 will cost more than the PS2 itself.
If Too Human got 9/10's and 10/10's across the board, more than likely Silicon Knights next game would have been a sequel to Too Human. But at this point the best thing to do is to come up with a new IP because Too Human faced so much criticism even before it was released and I doubt Dyack wants to go through further Too Human drama by continuing the series immediately.
