Sometimes I think Halo get's more hype than what it deserves. I guess the first Halo game pretty much revolutionized FPS games and set the standard, but since then there's been so many other FPS and plenty of other upcoming FPS out like Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 that look just as good or even better than Halo 3.

Well, if every game was AAA quality, we certainly wouldn't be seeing as many games being released monthly because a developer would spend a longer time developing them.
But, I do think that more games should be AAA quality, especially when games these days are $60 bucks a pop and when Limited Editions go for $80+ bucks.

I don't think that a older game should have it's review score dropped just because a more newer game comes out and delivers even more. It's only natural that as time progresses, newer games will make games that came out a year or two ago look like they have no competition at all, but that doesn't mean that a game that came out a year ago should have it's review score dropped just because something newer and better came out a year or two later.

Those exclusive/timed exclusive JRPG's are the only thing keeping the 360 alive in Japan.
It's pretty ironic to me because the PS3 has yet to get a major JRPG in Japan, but the PS3 is still outselling the 360 and has sold more than double of what the 360 sold in half the time. I don't think it matters what JRPG comes out on the 360, Japanese gamers just don't want the 360, period.
My prediction is that the Xbox 360 wont even hit a Million sold in Japan this gene...
With Sony coming out with games like LBP that are integrated with HOME extensively, it really makes sense that HOME should be coming out this Fall as well to coincide with the release of LBP or to be released soon after LBP, but it's good to finally hear a confirmed release after so many delays.

Rachet and Clank Quest for Booty isn't a flop, it's just a downloadable game title and anyone that's loved the Rachet and Clank series ever since the PS2 era will love Quest for Booty regardless of reviews. Rachet and Clank is already a proven franchise that's gotten good reviews prior to Quest for Booty.
Too Human had the potential of being a AAA exclusive and that's different than a downloadable game.
The Crysis on PS3 rumors have been going around for a while and it would be awesome if Crytek was indeed brining bringing Crysis to the PS3, but if not, I want to see what Crytek is capable of bringing to consoles.
HOME isn't cartoony, it's actually pretty realistic in terms of visuals and it can appeal easily to the hardcore. Microsoft's Avatar's look too Cartoony for the Xbox 360 Audience and are clearly Mii-ripoff's.

Well, Microsoft definantly paid to get some of those JRPG's that are on the system. It would make sense for a Japanese developer to release a JRPG on the PS3 because it would sell more anyways, and for Japanese developers to release a JRPG on the 360 and not the PS3 just lets me know that Microsoft more than likely had something to do with it.

The only thing keeping the 360 alive in Japan is Exclusive JRPG's or Timed Exclusive JRPG's. The 360 might outsell the PS3 for a week or two once a timed exclusive or exclusive 360 JRPG drops, but after the intial hype wears off, it's over and the 360 assumes it's position at the bottom of the charts in Japan again.

It would be silly for Valve to ignore the PS3 any longer considering how well the PS3 has been doing this year compared to the rocky start last year.
