Sony has already confirmed which PS3 exclusive games are coming for the rest of this year, just because they aren't dated doesn't mean it's going to be delayed. If Sony was going to push more games to 2009 they would have already done it by now.
I think that you should be more worried about Microsoft's 2009 line up because so far Sony's lineup is looking FAR better, and at least Sony has recently shown off some 2009 games for the public to see. Microsoft'...
It's good to see that Quantic Dream is confident, but Uncharted was a whole different kind of game. Uncharted was more of a action adventure game, but a game like Heavy Rain is really built for storytelling and characterization.
If he thinks that Heavy Rain will have no competition, then I guess he doesn't consider Alan Wake a threat either.... I wonder what he has to say about it. I wonder if Microsoft is afraid to show Alan Wake because it's not quite up to par with Heavy Rai...
Yeah, I've noticed the same thing about Xbox Devs.
Itagaki goes around putting down other games like Okami and Devil May Cry, Cliffy B. said he thought that Resistance 2 falls short, and then Cliffy B. calls MGS4 "passive entertainment", Dyack is a one man hype machine, etc... I do agree that Xbox 360 developers do too much talking though... Playstation developers just let their games speak for themselves.
Metal Gear Solid 4 spiced up the PS3's summer, but I do think that this summer it's been pretty slow for the 360. Ninja Gaiden 2 was a Solid game for the 360 this Summer, but it wasn't near as big as the impact that MGS4 had.
I can't wait to see more of Heavy Rain from the Games Convention... that's probably what I'm looking forward too the most. It would be nice if Guerrilla showed a new level in Killzone 2 or some new weapons... and I'm hoping for some surprise announcements too... Uncharted 2 please.
And a new God of War 3 teaser trailer would be nice too.
Well, Shadow of the Colossus was "innovative and unique" but it didn't get terrible review scores and is hailed as one of the best PS2 games and Too Human hasn't been getting bad/fair review scores because it's innovaite and unqinue and because people don't get it, it's because the reviewers just thought in their honest opinion that it wasn't a good game and had lots of flaws.
I think that maybe if Too Human used Buttons instead of the Right Analog stick for attacks, ...
Every time I see a new Killzone 2 video I just want to fast foward time to Feb. 2009 so I can get this game... definantly can't wait for this beast.
Well, the review is coming from PlanetXbox360, so what do you expect? It's not like they would post a medicore review of Too Human. But I think that Gamespots score of 5.5/10 definantly hurt the game badly because a LOT of 360 fans use Gamespot.
I'm pretty sure that the other 360 site XboxOZ360 will make an attempt to save the game as well. Reviews from non-360 sites will be the most important ones.
Sounds very interesting and I definanlty can't wait to see what other stuff will avaliable in the Adult only area.
It would be cool if it were possible to Gamble with REAL money on HOME or make real bets in HOME on a Poker game by transferring funds to your Wallet through the PSN and actually play for Real money against people...now that would make HOME an instant hit! And even if it wont be possible to use Real money to gamble, Sony could hold Poker/gaming tournaments once a ...
Tronad0r , just because you're upset about Too Human doesn't give you the right to make Ignorant comments like that about PS3 exclusives.
Your 360's RROD'ed just after 5 days?! I'm sorry, but I'll be damned if I buy something that has a failure rate as high as the 360... buying a 360 right now is like buying a car you know will have engine problems or something, it just doesn't make sense.
Breakfast, the PS3 has Rumble Controllers and Final Fantasy XIII as well... oh yea, and the PS3 has Final Fantasy Versus XIII exclusively as well. Have fun playing FFXIII on 6 discs, Blu-ray is the superior format for next-gen HD games, just look at how RAGE will turn out on the 360.
In my opinion any game under a 7.0/10 is bad, and a 7.0/10 is average, but I think that 7.0/10 is a pretty low score for any Exclusive game though. To be honest I really don't think that Microsoft even expected much from the game at all because I don't really remember hearing anything about the game during E3 or during Microsoft's press conference at E3.
Damn... that's gotta hurt.
I think that Dyack doesn't even need to even think about Too Human 2 at this point and just scrap the trilogy for Too Human.
I wonder how much Microsoft paid for that score from Gamepro....
No, MadWorld wont kill the Wii, but more games like MadWorld could get more hardcore PS3/360 owners to buy a Wii as a second or third console.
As far as the Hundreds of enemies on screen goes, I think that they'll most likely be there in Gears 2 for show because in that first gameplay trailer that was shown of Gears of War 2, there were tons of enemies in the background and around you, but you were just being engaged by a few enemies at a time.
In one of those Resistance 2 gameplay trailers, there were at least 30 or more of Chimera running toward Hale at once ... more can be done with the Cell when it comes to enemie...
I'm not impressed with the gameplay in The Force Unleashed a lot... I think that there needs to me more melee attacks or a lot of cool combos with the Light Saber or something.
While watching these videos, I just thought of something... the gameplay in this game reminds me of Infamous somewhat because of the use of electrical powers and picking up objects with powers and whatnot... but the major difference between the gameplay to me is that Infamous is Open World while The For...
Yeah, they've got a chance to redeem themselves with a New IP and if they redeem their name, Too Human 2 might not be under as much criticism as the first installment of Too Human.
But honestly I think that this is what more developers should do. They should develop one IP, then develop a new IP, and then develop a sequel to the first IP after finishing up the new IP... it would definantly keep things more fresh in the gaming industry and cut down on so many sequels in a short ...
Even if the videos will be up on Youtube, at least you'll be able to watch them in higher quality if you get the Limited Edition. Plus, Limited Edition versions of a game retain their value more than Standard Editions.
