I would love to think that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be a PS3 exclusive, but I doubt it will be.
Before Final Fantasy XIII came to the 360 and before Star Ocean 4 was announced for the 360, I would have had 100% confidence that KH3 would be a PS3 exclusive, but now I'm not so sure.
But, I do hope that it does end up being a PS3 exclusive because it would mean more PS3 sales for Sony. And if KH3 doesn't end up a PS3 exclusive, I hope that the development cycle will be lik...
If Microsoft thinks that they are going to finish second place this gen. just by winning America, they've got another thing coming. It's like Microsoft puts all it's faith in one territory and just hopes for the best.
With the PS3 doing well in all 3 territories, I see Microsoft in 3rd place sooner or later and once Final Fantasy XIII hit's Japan next year, Millions of Japanese Final Fantasy fans will be buying PS3's within a matter of months.
The hard drives are still too overpriced even with the price drop to me.
I can get a 250GB hard drive for my PS3 for less than $149 and I think that the 120GB 360 hard drive should be selling for no more than $100 dollars.
And that overpriced Wifi Adapter should be selling for $39.99 or less.... paying $90 bucks for the Wifi Adapter for the 360 whenever the PS3 and Wii already have it built in is just ridiculous.
Level 5 will set the record straight about the game at TGS this year. I really didn't expect White Knight Story to come out in any territory at all until 2009 anyways, but if the game does make a Dec. 11th release in Japan, it's going to be good for PS3 sales in Japan, that's for sure.
However, Sony did confirm that White Knight Story will be released before April 2009, so even if the game doesn't come out Dec. 11 of this year, the actual release date of the game wont be too far ...
I think that the price cut is more of a move of desperation regardless.
The reason why I think it's more a move of desperation is because even whenever the 360 Arcade was priced at $279 ( just $30 bucks more expensive than the Wii), it still wasn't enough to outsell the Playstation 3 in the United States this year so far... I mean, whenever MGS4 came out in June, the PS3 outsold the 360 2:1 and the PS3 was selling at $399 and $499 price points and the Playstation 3 has already be...
I think the PSP is far from dead but I do think that the PSP does need more 3rd party support.... the only thing that has held me back from buying a PSP is the lack of games, I mean, sure there are good games like God of War Chains of Olympus, Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, and others, but the stream of games coming out for the PSP just isn't that strong.
I might consider picking up a PSP 3000 because Resistance Retribution looks pretty tempting and I just HAVE to play God of War...
I've noticed (from what I've seen so far) that the crashes in Motorstorm 2 aren't as "dramatic" as the crashes in the first Motorstorm because when you would crash in Motorstorm 1, there would be tons of particles and car parts flying through the air, but the crashes aren't that dramatic in Motorstorm 2.
But, I'm still getting Motorstorm 2 because I loved the first Motorstorm and the gameplay reminds me of Burnout 3 Takedown a lot and it can get addicting at times.
I pre-ordered the Resistance 2 Special Edition from Amazon.com just yesterday, it's good to see that Amazon.com is having there own exclusive offers with games because I use Amazon all the time. Definantly can't wait for Resistance 2 to see how the rest of the story plays out.
All I've got so say is that Ubisoft sure had better not be surprised if the PS3 version of Endwar doesn't sell well. I had already heard of this demo being a 360 exclusive a few days ago anyways... But I'm not a fan of strategy games and don't like strategy games and this game was never on my buy list, so I could care less.

But really, is there a point to this article at all? The Xbox 360 priced at $199 will (possibly) save the Xbox 360 because... it's $199, duh! Anyone could have figured that out.

I don't think you should even be talking about Alan Wake right now because Microsoft hasn't said a damn thing about that game this year other than, "It will be shown when it's ready". The Japanese could care less about Alan Wake just because it's a game not developed by a Japanese studio and that's not my opinion, that's a fact.
Releasing Final Fantasy XIII in Japan is useless and it's not worth SquareEnix's time, plus, the 360 version of FF...
Well, since Bioshock 2 is coming out day-and-date for both the PS3 and 360, I'll pick up Bioshock this Fall. The reason I say this is because if Bioshock 2 was going to be another 360 timed exclusive deal and the PS3 would get the game a whole f*cking year later, I wouldn't have been buying Bioshock for the PS3 at all this Fall.
The only reason I think the analyst is making the prediction of the 360 beating the PS3 this holiday is because of price because both the PS3 and 360 have a strong lineup of games this Fall. Gears of War 2 might be a bigger commercialized game but that automatically doesn't make the game better than Resistance 2.
As far as the PS3 having a "weaker lineup", I have to disagree because this entire year has been nearly dry for 360 owners... Too Human flopped, Infinite Undis...
Meh, I don't need trophies for Fallout 3. The main quest is to last around 20 hours and everything else including side quests will last around 100 hours and that will last anyone a LONG time even without trophies.
I'm guessing that if Fallout 3 on the PS3 sells pretty well within a certain time frame then the the game might get patched with trophies.

You can play those same games you listed except for Gears 2 and Fable 2 on the PS3 in HD glory with Blu-ray, Built in Wifi, and Free Online, so what's the point?
Even with the larger price advantage that the 360 has, the PS3 still is the better value and always has been.
Yeah, I definantly think that the majority of the PS2 owners are going to stick with the Playstation brand. I'm sure some PS2 owners will get a 360 with the price drop, but if they've played any of Sony's exclusive games on the PS2 like God of War, ICO, Metal Gear Solid 3, Killzone, Shadow of the Collossus, Jak and Daxter, Gran Turismo 4, SOCOM, Rachet and Clank, and more, they'll have to get a PS3 if they want to get sequels from those games and the sequels from those games are worth getting...
As long as Heavy Rain makes it in sometime in 2009 and doesn't get pushed into 2010, I'll be happy.
I know that Level 5 has a good track record and all, but it worries me somewhat that this game is supposed to be coming out in Japan this December whenever hardly any previous info has been released about the game until now and it's making me question how good or how not so good the game will be. Obviously Level 5 will reveal all at TGS this year, I just think that more info like screenshots, developer interviews, teaser trailers and such should have been released about the game before TGS of...
