By the title of this game, I can definantly tell from Japanese developers...
If Sony contracted Disney Pixar to do a LittleBigPlanet movie, LBP would reach an immense status because Disney Pixar movies almost always sell big at the box office
The Xbox 360 could be 10 bucks and it wouldn't matter. As long as FFXIII is exclusive to the PS3 in Japan, the PS3 will continue to outsell it.
The 360 is cheaper than the Wii in Europe and the PS3 outsells the 360 over there and it's obvious that price doesn't always matter.... plus, the Japanese will always prefer a product from a Japanese hardware company like Sony and Nintendo.
Damn, too many good games coming out within a short time period.
I already have Fallout 3 Collectors Edition on Pre-order thats coming out Oct. 28th and I have the Resistance 2 Collectors Edition on Pre-order and it's coming out like a week after Oct. 28th... I'm buying Motorstorm Pacific Rift, but I'll have to wait until December at least.... plus I want to buy Dead Space and Far Cry 2 in October too... my bank account is going to be hurting big time this Fall/Holiday season. ...

Ha! That's not surprising to hear. Almost every upcoming PS3 exclusive more than likely isn't possible on the Xbox 360 without some major changes.
Any game that takes advantage of the PS3's Blu-ray and Cell at the same time isn't possible on the 360.... even the developers on the Ghostbusters game said that the PS3 was capable of having 2 times the amount of characters on screen and that just proves the PS3 is capable of more than the 360.

840 Xbox 360's sold?!!!
There's been so much talk about the Xbox 360 shortages in Japan, but that was WEEKS ago whenever Tales of Vesperia dropped over there. Microsoft should have gotten more shipments of 360's to Japan by now so there's no excuses.
I can't wait until March 2009 for those Advent Children PS3 bundles because then the PS3 will definantly be at the top of the Japanese hardware charts for a little while.
Xbox 360 console sales double after price cut, and the Playstation 3 still remains in the Top 10 at Amazon.com at $399 :)
It seems like both consoles are doing pretty good to me. Can't wait for September's NPD.

Wow, Heavy Rain is WAY more complex than I thought if the main character dies and you can keep playing the story. I wonder how many endings this game will have though...I bet you could be playing the game and someone else playing the game could have a totally different experience than you did because every descision you make will affect the story... defiantly can't wait for Heavy Rain.
How the Hell can PS3 game installs become a problem? Anyone with a PS3 can upgrade their hard drive without voiding the warranty and the 2.5" SATA Hard drives are pretty cheap. It's not like PS3 owners have to pay outrageous prices for Hard drives like anyone with a 360.
If it was more costly to upgrade the PS3's hard drive, then yes, the installations could become a problem, but since you can go out and get a hard drive for your PS3 for cheap, it's not a problem.

Ever since the Xbox 360's price drop, it has slid down in the numbers in the Video Game section on Amazon, but the 80GB PS3 for $399 is still in the Top 10 on Amazon and is at #5 right now and it's been in the Top 10 ever since it was first avaliable... As a matter of fact, I can't recall ever seeing a Xbox 360 model in the Top 10 on Amazon.
It would be funny as hell if the PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 in September's NPD.
I have to disagree, I think that the Playstation 2 is the best console of all time because it had one of the largest game libraries, had some of the best games and game franchieses on it, and it's sold over 140 million units Worldwide and still selling.
If the Wii ever sells more than the PS2, then just "maybe" it can be worthy enough of "Best Console of All Time".
I never owned a Dreamcast, but I do remember playing Sonic Adventure and Powerstone on it... if the Dreamcast wasn't discontinued in just 2 short years, I'm pretty sure that I would have bought one because my friend had one back then.
Sega really hasn't made any major hit games in a long time either....

What the Hell?! This news almost makes me want to cancel my pre-order... If I'm paying $79.99 for the Collectors Edition, I want uncut action.... damn you Australia.
The last thing Microsoft needs to loose right now is yet another first party if this ends up being true.... Microsoft had better hold on to RARE because right now I think that RARE is one of the most important internal developers that they have... oh well, I'm just glad that Sony's 1st party studios and 2nd party studios are as solid as a rock!

You do know that Sony has games for 2009 that they haven't announced yet right? Yoshida himself said that there are PS3 exclusives for next year that haven't been announced.
If you want a RPG, White Knight Chronicles is supposed to be released April 2009, and there's God of War 3, Infamous, Wardevil, and other PS3 exclusives that have yet to be announced. I think that he just mentioned Killzone 2 and Heavy Rain because Killzone 2 is coming out early 2009 and...
I have to say that I think 2009 for the PS3 looks a lot better than 2009 for the 360 because of the game lineup and what each company has announced or shown for next year so far.
Sony has showed more games for next year and Microsoft has said very little about 2009... 2 of Microsoft's potentially biggest games in 2009: Splinter Cell Conviction and Alan Wake are no where to be found and 2008 is nearly over in just a couple of months.
