I remember going in Gamestop when GTA San Andreas first came out and they let me buy the game underage because I was just 16 back then...and they didn't even ask for any ID.

I've bought many games underage before I turned 18 though and I'm sure plenty of stores still sell games to underage kids.... but I think that selling Knifes to kids is just a little too far though.

Wow, now that's a deal too good to be true. It's really a shame that these 80GB PS3 MGS4 bundles aren't included in the NPD numbers though.

If the Xbox 360 wasn't outselling the PS3 this year every month in the U.S. at the $279 price point by at least 2:1, there's no way they would catch up to the Wii.

At the $279 price point, the Xbox 360 sold around the 200,000 mark or a little over the 200,000 mark ever month in the U.S. this year but really I think it should have been selling around the 300,000 mark with a price point that low.

The Xbox 360 would have to be selling VERY strong in ALL 3 territories in...

Well, that wasn't much info, but it would be nice if Sony reveals more info on God of War 3 before the end of this year. I just hope that the rumored Christmas 2009 release date is true because I want God of War 3 in 2009, not 2010!

It looks like 2009 is shaping up to be the Battle of the Shooters: Call of Duty 6 v.s. Killzone 2 v.s. MAG

Even if this was true, there wouldn't be any games on the 360 that would even be compatible with the Motion Controller when it comes out. Plus, I remember that RARE themselves has denied rumors about motion controls in Banjoe, so what games would even use it? Viva Pinata and thats it?

It's not like Microsoft has tons of developers making casual games for them because RARE is really the only developer making casual games for the 360 and RARE can only do so much at a time.

I'd have to say that I'm probably looking forward to the Story the most. I think that Resistance is one of the few FPS that actually has a pretty good story too.

I seriously can't wait until Final Fantasy XIII hits Japan because the impact that it will have on PS3 sales will be just astronomical... and speaking of astronomical, I'm pretty sure those PS3 Final Fantasy Advent Children bundles that have the FFXIII demo in March 09 hitting Japan will be selling like hot cakes too.

Microsoft had better enjoy it's last 15 minutes of fame in Japan after The Last Remnant comes out this year and Star Ocean 4 next year comes out because once FFXIII...

I think that the last "great" Need For Speed game was Need For Speed Underground 2. I never bought or played any more of the other Need For Speed games since then though.

The graphics in this game don't look anywhere near GT5P, but if it gets pretty good review scores I might check it out because I'm a fan of racing games and I wish there was more of them.

The last thing I'm worried about is LittleBigPlanet failing. I'm pretty much always optimistic about PS3 exclusives and I never let negative reviews turn me off from a game whenever it comes to PS3 exclusives.

The only reason why I haven't pre-ordered Killzone 2 is because I'm waiting for the news of a possible Collectors Edition version. Killzone 2 is definantly in my top 3 games for 2009 and I really can't wait to see how Guerrilla will unlock more of the PS3's power.

All of this is just so funny to me. The Xbox 360 is now cheaper than the Wii in the United States and it's like the Second Coming or something and there's articles like this about the 360 outselling the Wii and PS3 this generation.

The Xbox 360 can't win a generation just by America alone and with the U.S. economy in it's current state, Microsoft can't be depending on U.S. sales so much regardless of price.

I already know that the Xbox 360's predicted hardware sales ...

The answer is as simple as this: NO.

-The Xbox 360 can't beat the PS3 and Wii this generation just by moving lots of units in America and There's no way a console can win a console war just by America alone.

-The only thing that will keep the 360 alive in Japan is The Last Remnant and Star Ocean 4. Once Final Fantasy XIII comes out in Japan for the PS3 next year, the Xbox 360 will literally become even more dead than it already is until some other big JRPG hits the 3...

If people see that Blu-ray has gained some steam now with Transformers, just wait until The Dark Knight (the biggest movie of the year) comes out in December because Blu-ray will definantly take a spike in sales then.

As HDTV prices come down and as Blu-ray disc players drop in price, more and more people will upgrading to Blu-ray.

Yeah, it's worth getting Bioshock for the PS3, but I wont be getting it when it first comes out. I've got a slew of other games I want in October and November first before I get Bioshock on the PS3.

I'll probably get Bioshock in January to hold me over until Killzone 2 in Februrary.

For me, PS3 exclusives come before ANY 3rd party multiplatform game, and LBP comes before Bioshock any day of the week in my purchase lineup.

I'll probably buy another PS3 model once Sony introduces a PS3 Slim, and I definantly agree with Jamie Foxx, I hope that Sony keeps the slot loading disc drive with the slim PS3, and I definantly wouldn't trade my 60GB PS3 just to get this PS3 with the 65nm RSX because the PS3 has already been a reliable system from the start and there's literally no worries of overheating. A PS3 slim is probably a LONG way off, but I definantly want a more lighter and more portable PS3 because I travel with ...

I already know this article is going to be taken the wrong way (by Xbox 360 fans).

Basically Kojima over-estimated what the PS3 was capable of, but obviously MGS4 couldn't be done on the Xbox 360 in the currenty state it is in now on the PS3.

I think that Kojima will have to wait until Next-Gen to make the games that he's really been dreaming about, but until then I'm pretty sure he has some good stuff in store for the PS3.

Wow, I can't wait for the Tokyo Game Show. If this game comes to Japan first in 2009 and will hit the U.S. later, I'm importing it.

Edit: Well, even if it's fake, I'm still looking forward to seeing what Team ICO has cooking up for the PS3 though, and hopefully they'll be at TGS this year.

Of course the PS3 is the most powerful system on the market, it's got the Cell Processor and Blu-ray.

You've got developers like Epic stating that they believe the 360 is hitting the upper end of it's capabilities, but the Playstation 3 first party developers are still digging deeper and deeper into the PS3 and the last thing you hear them say is "reaching limits" with the PS3.... it will probably be another 3-4 years before developers start to reach the PS3's limits. ...

@ Breakfast

How many AAA exclusive games have the 360 gotten this year? NONE.

None of the PS3's good exclusives are garbage, MGS4 is one of the highest rated exclusive games. I consider Uncharted Drakes Fortune a AAA PS3 exclusive as well, and the PS3 has more than just one AAA exclusive.
