Yeah, I guess he's right. The PS3 audience right now wouldn't react too strongly to a Sly Cooper PS3 game, but Rachet and Clank for the PS3 got a pretty good reception though....I think that if Sucker Punch made a Sly Cooper game that had more Mature themes like Jak 2 and Jak 3, I think that more older PS3 gamers would give it a try.
This has nothing to do with Sucker Punch, but I hope that Naughty Dog goes back to Jak and Daxter for the PS3 too because Jak and Daxter was my favo...
I never had any issues with my PS2 except for one thing. My second PS2 stopped reading discs after about 4 months after I bought it back in 2003 and I had to send it to Sony, but other than that, I've never experienced any problems with my Sony consoles.
And my 60GB PS3 is still running perfectly. A lot of people tend to wait to buy a new console just to make sure the first batch of units don't have any "glitches" or whatever, but my launch 60GB PS3 is solid as rock. <...
I have to agree with the games on that "Fail List". Mirrors Edge looked like a game that had some promise, but I think that it's going to get overlooked this Fall because there's just SO many more better looking games in my opinion.
I haven't heard much of Saints Row 2 at all and really I think that it should be pushed to early 2009....but I had no intentions of buying Saints Row 2 this Fall anyways.

I don't really hear a lot of people talking about Dead Space, but it's actually one of the first Survival Horror games that has caught my attention... the Silent Hill games and other Survival Horror games like Resident Evil just never interested me that much, but ever since I saw the teaser trailers for Dead Space, I was hooked.

But in complete honesty, I do think that the PS3 outsold the 360 in August as well. The PS3 has almost always been in the Top 10 on Amazon in the Video Games section pretty much since the MGS4 80GB PS3 bundles were released and I can't even recall ever seeing a 360 SKU in the Top 10 at all.
I think that the $399 price point was the "sweet spot" for a lot of people wanting a PS3 because ever since Sony brought out the 40GB PS3 for $3...
The only way for the Xbox 360 to outsell the PS3 in Japan is if Final Fantasy XIII was a 360 exclusive, and that would have never happened because the Xbox consoles have never been well recieved by the Japanese audience and the majority of JRPG's sell really well in Japan and it would be stupid to make a game like FFXIII a 360 exclusive.

I think that the term "fanboy" is thrown around way too much, especially within this generation of gaming.

White Knight Chronicles is a PS3 exclusive and it's published by Sony, so the PS3 will have it's own exclusive JRPG pretty soon from a very good developer (Level 5) and White Knight is supposed to come out before April 2009 according to Sony.

Microsoft should have had a Recall on the Xbox 360's and stores should have pulled Xbox 360's off the shelves until Microsoft resolved the hardware issues.

Insomniac never ceases to amaze me... they are a big asset to Sony right now. And seeing that the graphics in Resistance 2 have improved in a pretty small time frame, I'm pretty sure that the guys at Guerrilla will polish the living hell out of Killzone 2 and it will be looking and running even better than what we've already seen.
I wonder so many people (especially Xbox 360 fanboys) make such a big deal about a Mandatory Install for a PS3 game. Installs for PS3 games have been going on for a long time now and any time I hear a game having a mandatory install for the PS3, I'm not really surprised. Plus, the PS3 can be upgraded to any 2.5" SATA Hard drive, so it's no big deal. I've got around 27GB left in my launch 60GB PS3 and I was planning to upgrade it to a 250GB pretty soon anyways.
