I don't see what the fuss is all about. It's a pretty interesting commercial, but I think that the Xbox 360 commercial from last year was probably just a tad bit better ( the commercial with the guy parachuting, and near the end there's people on a couch/chair playing the 360, etc....)
The main reason why I hope that The Last Remnant does well is because it's coming out on the PS3 at a later date. If the 360 version bombs, hopefully changes and upgrades can be made to the PS3 version.
The screenshots looked pretty good, but right now I think White Knight Chronicles looks a lot better (graphically).

I had the most fun with GTA: San Andreas. GTA4 got boring before I beat the game and I lost interest in the game.... the Missions in GTA4 didn't have enough variety in them to me.
I played San Andreas for around 2 years before I even got bored with it because there was just soooo much stuff to do in that game and the game map was so huge, but I played GTA4 for about a month and haven't touched it since the end of May.

An Article like this might have been appropriate in 2007 whenever the PS3 was getting bashed on left and right and wasn't getting any love at all, but it's 2008 now and it's time to move on. I think that the next generation consoles should have some sort of disc medium. Right now I doubt that Sony would use Blu-ray in the Playstation 4 because Sony has introduced a new disc format for each of it's consoles and I doubt that they would stick with Blu-ray with their new console, but I could be wrong.

The game looks absolutely amazing and it's a HUGE leap from the first Resistance....Resistance 2 will definantly give Gears 2 a run for it's money when it comes to graphics, that's for sure.

Personally I don't think that the Xbox 360 will hit a million units in Japan this generation. Whenever a JRPG hits Japan the sales increase for a week or two and then the sales fall off.
I think that once Final Fantasy XIII hits Japan on the PS3, it's gonna be pretty much over for the 360 in Japan because Japanese gamers will be buying the console that has Final Fantasy because it's one of the most anticipated games.

The fact that HOME resembles The SIMS so much definantly makes me think that it could be a system seller. I mean, millions of casual gamers play The SIMS, and HOME + LBP + EyePet could definantly have some huge potential for the PS3 with casual gamers as the PS3's price drops in the long run.

Looking at game comparisons between 3rd party multiplatform games on the Xbox 360 and PS3 is really a waste of time.
Just look at Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, MGS4, Heavy Rain, and Killzone 2 and you'll see which system is capable of better graphics. Plus, I'm not wasting my money on this game and if I ever do get it, I wont get it until it hits the bargain bin.
I really don't know why Ubisoft changed the direction of the Splinter Cell series...I liked the way Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell Pandora Tommorrow, and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory was because it reminded me more of Metal Gear Solid's gameplay and to me they were the best Splinter Cell games.... Honestly I really don't care that much for HOME, but I do know that there's been a ton of people still anticipating it and I hope they enjoy it. I'm more hyped up for the PS3 exclusives, but HOME is just a nice touch. Hopefully the Video Sharing feature will be in the Final Version of HOME though.

Xbox 360 sales fell by half in comparison to last week. By next week the 360 should be back to averaging around 7,000.
