I'd be willing to pay a one time fee to keep it up at least to the end of this generation. There is so much to do and my wife has yet to play it. We need more time. The game hasn't been out long enough as a Greatest Hits release for the masses to enjoy it.

“Just to address one issue that we’ve been getting a lot of comments about. And this is, of course, about trophies.”
“I just wanna tell everybody out there right now that your voices are being heard and that we’re not ignoring you. We hear everything that you are saying. It’s just that we can’t say anything just yet.
But as soon as we have something to say, we will announce it. So, if we can just ask everyone to just be...
That should provide a more immersive gaming experience.
Games today are more designed to be a fun experience. Games cater to the people instead of the other way around.
Video games used to be designed so that the person caters to the video game. The game set the rules without much consideration of the player's skill or abilities as a gamer. The point in the matter here is that the video game wasn't meant to be an experience but rather a challenge. The whole point was to only allow a gamer with enough skill to pass it. ...

I gave you an agree and a bubble increase because your response is well thought out and agreeable. Our differences in opinion are strictly from preference and not much more. I think the main reason I prefer consoles overall is their ability to stay in a stable environment.
I'm a game collector who has collected many games on many consoles. I have always shyed away from PC games due to their ever changing state on both the hardware and the softw...
I've always preferred the console over the PC when it came to gaming. Here's why.
A console, at least up to this gen, has a more secure environment. It doesn't have to deal with being the greatest common denominator in regards to making a game work on a wide variety of hardware configurations. Now I've heard someone above say that the PC is better at optimizing the hardware and pushing gaming performance while the PS3 suffers from generalized performance. ...
The whole series was epic.
They were known for leaving their audience hanging for years. Remember the PS1 SoulReaver ending? How long before we got to see the continuation...PS2 days? That was a long time.
Brings back memories.
I have these titles on their original consoles and I must say these games are one of the best ever made. It had a story so deep and complex it rivaled titles like Metal Gear. It's presentation of it's storyline is top notch making it a deeply immersive experience from start to finish.
The gameplay was very engaging. The puzzles were challenging but logical...meaning they could be solved with rational thinking methods. The two worlds shifted so that they were diffe...
Unfortunately people weigh their opinions on many things not related to a game's quality. Image and reputation play a big role to many people now because these games today rely heavily on social and popular status.
I've learned that a video game is not good enough to most of today's gamers. It's a different society where the masses border on valuing family and friends. These are the two groups the game industry has focused on and it is these two groups tha...
Their life expectancy was much longer. They were built to last. Now that online and digital downloading are here we are getting hardware with shorter lifecycles. The industry is shifting away from ownership and more towards service.
If Xbox Live, Onlive, and PSN are any indication it's a step toward access to content with no ownership rights. Just a license. Logically this can only conclude that, in their eyes, a console doesn't need the same reliability anymore....
Keep your room at 78*F. The fan should never have to speed up to get air. It only means the incoming air is not enough to cool the unit. It wastes energy and the fan will suck more dust in while causing wear and tear on the fan.
My original model PS3 never needed to increase fan speed. I found that 78*F is the highest room temperature before the fan kicks in. My launch PS3 is going on 4 years with only a minor Blu-Ray laser issue (resolved by standing vertical). Vacuum the ...
The original PS3 model is nearing 4 years old. Naturally there will be more and more reports of consoles failing. Eventually the failure rate of all consoles will rise.
As far as I know the YLOD can be caused from several issues aside from worn solder. A dead fan, old thermal paste, and failing power supply can cause the YLOD.
I generally rate a console's failure on two factors. The first is time of failure in a given expected lifecycle. The seco...
1. You'll need to have a regular U-verse box as your main box, and your 360 will be used for additional TVs in your home or apartment.source http://techblog.dallasnews....
2. U-verse is a seperate and required subscription service.
3. The 360 U-verse is an add-on to this service.
3. Supports 360 models with hard drive.
This has been a debate since the release of the Playstation 3 and to this day it has been resisted due to the emergence of the digital download technology. Therefore I think it will be best to highlight the advantages of Blu-Ray over the prime reason this debate even exists...the digital downloadable format.
First we must note the differences between the two options. A disk contains data and is not meant for change. It is not rewriteable. It is also a physical product. A...
However, there are other issues that effect the honest paying consumer. For starters the blatant misleading of the general public in regards to owning their games. Yes there is a 5 page long agreement you must agree to. Yes they tell you that you don't own it. What they refuse to do is make it obvious to everyone outside of this document.
Since when is a rental placed with a "buy" button? Since when does Sony state that you "own it forever" when...
The reason these developers are out of line right now is because they are passing the blame to the consumers. The fact is that used game retailers are stealing from the developers, not the consumers.
The developers have attacked and sued used game retailers for years because they weren't paying developers a share of the profits. The developers said they were stealing and were thieves yet still lost in court. Now they are attacking the consumers because they couldn...
There is a 6th stone in the Nexus that's broken. I wonder if they were planning DLC for it. Has anyone found a way to unlock it otherwise?
