Up till now the PSN policy was 5 downloads at a time. That means you had to deactivate a PS3 sytem before freeing up a slot.
Now it sounds like you get 5 downloads and that's it. If that is true then the honest consumer will lose some chance of being able to own their games for the long term.
Must be a high demand title.
12.5 million times 60.00 every year to run a server. That's 750 million (or 7.5 billion) dollars every twelve months.
The average ISP (internet service provider) charges 50.00 per month for the lowest high speed internet. Each consumer pays about 600.00 per year. 12.5 million times 600.00 to get to Xbox Live. That's 750 billion (or 7.5 trillion) dollars every twelve months.
With all that money these companies are not getting paid to run their serv...
Let me tell everyone the final agenda of these game companies in the near future. This is what the companies want but won't tell you. I'm giving out fair warning to everyone now so that you may use EA as an example of what's to come...for everyone.
Digital distribution is your answer. This has nothing to do with making people pay a fair share to keep the servers running. This has already been proven false by the many EA game servers that went down recently. S...
In order to define a real gamer it may first be helpful to define what isn't a real gamer.
A gamer is one who plays video games. Video games are an interactive experience. Therefore a gamer is considered one who interacts with a video game and thus experiences it. The question is why does he/she conducts these acts. The answers can provide a baseline from which we can start our assessment.
A gamer is driven to video games for a variety of reasons. The...
It appears that the newer photos contain more color than the old. Personally I think adding color can cause a loss in realism. I prefer the older pics because the lack of color looks more realistic.
360 not as radical as PS3. It goes back and forth.
Here's my issue. The instant streaming contains a very controlled number and type of content. The reason I want the DVD copy is because you don't offer it on the stream service.
Yet you raise the price, according to your own chart, with each additional DVD offered. Obviously, having the DVD option makes the plan considerably more expensive with each DVD tier increase. Not only that but the DVD takes time to ship and process. So there is less incentive to pay th...
Not enough to write an article about it. There are much bigger issues out there that are bad for general gaming yet we see more PS3 bashing than any other issue.
I'm talking about how online gaming and digital downloads mislead people into thinking they own their purchases. I'm talking about games being broken and bugged on release day. I'm talking about servers for games like Demon Souls going offline and no one doing anything about it.
I'...
Calling all haters!!! It's your last chance before GT5 becomes a threat. You only have 5 days before Gran Turismo 5 hits the market. Bash it while you still can. Get those licks in and make sure you pinpoint every weakness. Perfection is what is expected here not excellence. While you're at it make sure you expose your opinion to as many people as possible. Heck maybe you can get some website hits and make a profit while you're at it.
Now I'm not a stick...
I've waited a long time for a remake. Then they released a "sequel" in the form of a DVD. I waited even longer with endless responses from Square that they will not do it.
Years go by and Square starts wrecking things to the point I don't recognize their brand anymore. They basically dump their fanbase and target the mass market by changing Final Fantasy XIII AND going multiplatform. Then they make the 360 version noticeably inferior anyway thus negating...
It's a rental service.
Here's hoping but it's likely GT5: Prologue trophy support for those who own both.
Good deal. It's more of a request to the developer. Many sigs for one week. http://www.petitiononline.c...
It seems everyone has it, talks about it, and even is aware of it yet the game sold less than 800,000 worldwide. Either the numbers are wrong or most come to internet forums.
Go to Google/Yahoo and type "Demon's Souls Online Petition".
Hopefully we can extend the servers beyond March 2011.
It's hard to talk with less than 6 bubbles. Ever since the redesign of N4G everyone got shafted on bubbles. I don't know why but I think it's ridiculous that everyone has to start over. I had 8 bubbles over 5 years. No need to take another 5 years...anyway.
The servers shouldn't cost too much to maintain if everyone pitched in a dollar. The game sold about what, 800,000? I'm sure that 1% of consumers who pay would be more than enough to finance the c...
This petition website sends the results to Atlus U.S.A. everyday so our opinions matter. 40 signatures in less than an hour. Pretty impressive for being the middle of the night.
I think they are going to use them for that new game coming in Summer 2011. The Cursed Crusade. The company is really small. From what I've seen there were only 4 guys that did this game. I'm telling you this right now...this company is quite possibly the next Square.
Square used to be like this company back in the day. Just make great games, nothing fancy...and from the heart. Somewhere down the line Square changed everything about them...almost to the point I ...
Consider that a Call of Duty game was released in November a month after Enslaved was released. If anyone knows by now it's that the Call of Duty franchise is a massive sales black hole for anyone who dares release their game around the same time. Think of how many games were delayed past Christmas just because COD had a holiday release date.
Call of Duty Black Ops broke the sales record of the previous Call of Duty release (Modern Warfare 2).
