I think the visuals took the biggest hit and Gearbox has been covering it up. They masked the IGN gameplay demonstration by playing the PC version through Steam and using a 360 controller. They focused largely on the fact that they had official access to the movie materials, and was approved authentic by Fox, and how big fans they were.
I don't see how the graphical downgrade happened. It makes no sense. All I know is Gearbox should be pressured to answer to the fans....

In regards to the availability of old titles like SNES in a DD world. If the SNES had been digital only chances are they would have discontinued SNES game access and resold them all over again when the N64 came out. They would have repeated this process throughout the Gamecube lifecycle.

1) More than 75% of console makers have stopped making consoles. What happens when/if Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo stop? What happens to digital superiority?
2) The terms and conditions for the services housing digital games state that the words "own, ownership, purchase, buy, yours, etc." do not mean you own it. How can digital be superior over physical if you have less control over the format, less...
They will keep prices the same and claim that digital is more convienant. If anything the cost will rise because they will have less competition with used prices or physical discs, making them more dominant and in control of supply.
They will just keep demand up and make their software rely on 3rd party services in order (i.e Xbox Live, PSN) to exist.

It is disappointing that my opinion of the game differs from these reviews. The game still looks great to me.

A civilized man uses his senses for self gratification instead. Visuals that please the eye. Sounds that please the ear. Foods that please the tongue. These are the expected stimuli of one who has no other uses for them.

The prices should be a little higher than rental prices. That's basically what we're getting given the state of control over software this gen. The terms and conditions are pretty clear on what video games should be worth to the consumer. Read them.

This industry has evolved into a belief system of delivering on future promises. Everything from video games to the services they provide are future based to the point it is never really delivered. That's because the future is given a promise and the consumer is left with a dream of expectations built upon it that can never truly satisfy the imagination. Once the future arrives on their end, it doesn't quite arrive on yours.

It was released in 2010 on PSN and PC. It offered a Raziel and Kain DLC character pack that featured the original actors' voices.
Interestingly this game was published by Square-Enix. I would say it very likely the voice acting is still around given the fact they reprised their roles less than 3 years ago.

Gearbox would completely redeem themselves in my eyes if they'd just improve the visuals and lighting. The fact it was removed really hurt the movie atmosphere. Sound is great and well done. Please Gearbox. This is probably the only game we'll ever see in our lifetime based on that movie . Please make it right. Please.
