Very different games... I work on one of them, and if you only knew its history you'd be flabbergasted...
Not that interested in PS Now personally, but happy for people that are, but I do want that adapter. Think it's bit overpriced though if you compare to Logitech adapters... My DS4's square button is getting a bit sticky (got it at launch) so I need a new one so a new DS4 + the PC adapter is a bit pricey for what you are getting. I do love the DS4 though, the XboxOne elite looks nice and I am not sure where it stacks up price wise with the DS4/PC Adapter combo but I think it's fai...
Whatever engine powers Driveclub, and DriveclubVR, is fantastic. Driveclub is still one of the best looking games on the PS4. I know GT Sports is 60FPS, but the environments in Driveclub are just a league above the ones in GT Sports. For DriveclubVR to look as good as it does is amazing.
"Quick cash grab at the playstation fan base"? So you think their designers took no pride in their work and didn't want to make a good game, and in doing so also secure their future in the business? That logic makes zero sense. If the game does not appeal to the masses, it's not for lack of trying and I am sure they are very bummed out right now with the reactions if they are so negative (I've personally seen several positive Youtube videos and read several positive arti...
Shouldn't this be a given for all games? Not all people like FPS games (just an example, I like all genres except strategy games and simulation games), does that mean anything? I don't think there's a single game out there that every single individual gamer enjoys. That's a good thing, means people have varied tastes and that there's room for lots of different types of games.
Not really the same though. Just because they are both called Forza, they couldn't be any more different as far as racing games go. One is a "simulator" while the other is completely arcade. I love Forza Horizon, but have no love for Forza main. I am also super happy MS is going PC with all its titles so I can play this and Gears of War 4 without buying an XB1. Wish they'd release Sunset Overdrive on PC...
Actually playing Quantum Break PC right now, the f...
There are still traditional RPGs out there if you don't like change and evolution... Don't need to list them all but there are plenty. Plus World of Final Fantasy looks like a top-notch old-school RPG if the visual style is to your liking...
Changes to sequels keeps games fresh. If you want to keep reliving the same experiences over and over with new story, get games like I am Setsuna etc.
Great that you think that MK8 looks like CG, but maybe you should compare the CG commercial of MK8 to gameplay. MK8 looks decent, and most Nintendo games do, because their games are cartoony they don't need much texturing saving tonnes of RAM. But there's a whole lot more to it than that. I'm still extremely disappointed with the new Zelda, especially when I see games like God of War 4 and Spiderman. Not saying Zelda should have their style, just saying that that's the quality...
They made a great presentation video!
It really depends. I've said this once in another thread, but I have seen in person, an upcoming 1080p/60fps PS4/Xbox1 game running 4k/60fps on the Neo, and it looks on par with most games out there except for the highest tiers of games. Doesn't look as good as Uncharted 4 of course, but still damn good, and it's because of their decisions. It seems so hard for a lot of gamers to understand, but devs aren't programming for a 2016 Titan X. If they were, they'd get a lot mor...
I actually doubt he would, but I didn't know the person. If he had an open mind, he'd known that prejudice exists not only towards black people but also Asians, transgenders to only name a couple. It will only ever stop when enough people stop generalizing any group based on any particular trait. Star Trek TNG made lots of reference to prejudice, and I don't see there being anything wrong with any fiction doing their part in trying to stop prejudice.
However, th...
I disliked it because it was MP only. I'm not an Overwatch player either because of that reason, but I do like the idea of Overwatch a lot more because of the diversity of characters and the loot boxes so even if you don't have the time to play much you still get something out of it rather than looking at the leader board all the time and seeing the people who play all the time get the most out of the game.
If the Titanfall 2 campaign turns out to be good (from imp...
People who trash PSVR obviously hasn't played the experiences for themselves. Everyone that I've talked to, and also my own experience, shows that PSVR is at least on par with HTC Vive (of which I own one). Yes, the PC is more powerful but there are very few quality games on the HTC Vive, something I hope will change.
PSVR experiences like Crytek's Robinson, Guerilla Cambridge's RIGS and others are awesome on vanilla PS4 and will only be better on Neo. Gran...
Really looking forward to this game but I wish the camera would be more looked onto your enemy.
First, you can't compare a PC built with the rumored specs to a PS4 Neo. Devs will optimize their games to the Neo specs, anyone who knows anything about game development knows this means you can squeeze out more of a set spec than a game made for a PC that has hundreds/thousands of configurations. Devs only has to worry about two specs if they are developing for PS4 Neo, and four if they are developing for Xbox and Scorpio as well.
I've seen an upcoming PS4 game in...
I actually loved this game. On PC nonetheless, despite their shitty port. Really enjoyed the DLC as well, especially Season of Infamy (the others were a bit weak but still enjoyed them). I really can't wait for Rocksteady's next game, they are definitely one of the best devs in the industry.
I've had a Vive for a few months and it definitely does not feel like a gimmick. Despite there not being that many quality games to play, I am still hooked playing The Lab, especially the archery minigame. It looks beautiful, and only thing that ends up stopping me from playing is arm fatigue.
I have to admit that when I first got the Vive, I had some motion sickness but that's gone now. I am not sure if I just had to get used to it or what, but VR is just an exper...
Geez, you really don't know what risks publishers/developers are taking do you? You've "been around long enough" but think CAD$80 dollar games should be sold as CAD$20. We wouldn't have games like Uncharted 4 or any big budget games if everyone was as cheap as you.
I understand if you can't afford it, but you know that most of Sony's 1st party games go at a loss right? It's the successes that make up for the bad games. So if you think they...
My favorite game in that series is still MGS 1. It had the best story in the series, followed by 3. It just became too convoluted, there were interesting story elements in MGS V but as a whole it didn't work for me. MGS 4 was good story wise - if still a bit too convoluted for my tastes.
As much praise as Kojima gets, if these were movies, he would not be so praised in the story telling department. His talent is in directing, not writing. I feel Death Stranding really ...
Very excited for this game. Been a while since this type of game came out. I'm so happy Microsoft has decided to release all their games on PC since I prefer to game on PC due to being able to get better image quality and play natively at my monitor's 1440p res. Their rendition of Australia looks gorgeous too. Why did Sony shut down Evolution Studios? Their engine was soo good, and if they made it a bit more open world like Forza and embrace arcade rather than sit in the middle, Drive...
