Crytek did an _amazing_ job with Ryse graphics wise, it is a shame that the gameplay didn't have more depth. Crytek have also created the best looking PSVR title (alongside Driveclub VR) with Robinson. Really hope it turns out great. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Crysis series, even #2 (on PC).
Am I the only one who thinks the siblings, especially the brother, looks really badly made in the face/hair area compared to today's standards? Hope they can fix that in time for release. I think I'll be keeping my helmet on at all times if given the choice. Really looking forward to this game, everything I've seen makes it look great.
I've enjoyed playing and watching Pros play since it came out. I didn't think it had enough content, and some of the designs were very questionable (Ken's face/hair) with modders doing a much better job with the characters on the PC. I still feel it deserves a future and more success.
Having said that, I do think Netherrealms is the king of fighting games these days. Can't wait for Injustice 2.
Format that PS4 (and Pro, don't forget vanilla PS4 can do HDR now too) supports is called HDR10.
You do realize that if this was a game released back before DLC, you'd have buggy games that were never patched and you would never get the option of extra content that is optional to buy. PS1 and PS2 games had bugs and no choice of extra content. Reality check, come on.
The budget for a game is set for the game without DLC. DLC is optional, and in this case it's glaringly obvious since each DLC focuses on a separate character and it's not part of the main stor...
Such shame... the game starts out bad, but a couple of hours in it turns into a really fantastic game. It's due to the powers you get further on, and the story. In the beginning you feel like you are not in control, and I feel it was an intentional (if not necessarily wise) decision. I bought it the day it came out on Windows 10, gave up on it after an hour. Then played through it a few months ago and got through the bad beginning.
Really feel it deserved better. It go...
I desperately want it to be good, but I really don't think it will be. I'm so tired of Nintendo being a generation behind in the powers/graphics department. I just finished Gears of War 4 and it's a perfect example of what is possible, not just graphically, but mechanically with the new hardware. The amount of dynamic destruction (especially later on) and the number and size of enemies is incredible and directly affects gameyplay.
They don't show it off unti...
Still want it and there seems to be plenty of people who don't get motion-sick. I got a bit nauseous when I first got my HTC Vive but now I experience none. I got my VR legs. Who knows, I might end up getting naesous by this game but I love Driveclub, and this game with a wheel is something I am worth taking the $39 risk for. It looks gorgeous.
Can't believe she wrote that (in a good way). I recently was let go because I wouldn't do the 80 hours (mandatory 6-7 days for 6 months+). As soon as I told them I didn't agree with working those kinds of hours they told me to accept it or quit. The industry needs a union. If you haven't worked in the games industry, you really don't know what it's like so try have some empathy. Kids are growing up without seeing their parents for extended periods of time, people are g...
Gamers also realize that anti-cheat systems take time, which equals money, to develop right? You can see where he's coming from. I want cross-play, and I am getting Tekken 7 on PC but the point is still valid. Having said that, SFV isn't plagued too bad and I really enjoy its modding community.
The studio is defunct, why would anyone in their right mind think that their games would be upgraded to PS4 Pro?
Knight was the underrated one IMO. I loved the story, gameplay and adding the bat-mobile really added variety to the game. I guess if you don't like arcade driving games, you wouldn't like that aspect but in my opinion it was incorporated really well. Origins felt like a (very large) DLC of City. Only thing it brought that was new was the detective system and it felt very shallow to me. Incidentally, those moments were the weakest in Knight as well. No challenge at all. Either way, Or...
Man I wish Netherrealms would get to do a Marvel fighting game. Never going to happen though... They aren't owned by DC (I think?) but they are definitely in bed with them.
As another tangent, would love to see Image characters in Injustice. So many good designs. Spawn would make a great fighting character, and so many of the side characters in that series.
I just don't think people should get refunds. It's so easy to wait and look at videos, watch reviews before you buy it. That's what I did, and I decided the game wasn't for me. Some people have enjoyed it, good for them.
I do feel that the developer should have been more transparent. Machinima had a good video on this that reflects my opinion (not all their videos do). I like the videos Brandon Winfrey is in because he actually gets the developer side. He do...
As soon as I saw it was from Gamingbolt, I stopped and didn't even click the link. I've read enough of their articles to feel that their site has very little useful to say.
Women are treated second to men in most aspects of society so it's not a fair comparison, but my guess is most of you will just react to that without actually considering both sides. Women make less than men in all jobs, position for position. Look at history just 50-60 years ago and you realize that there are plenty of women alive today who were even more oppressed than today's women. It's getting better, and while I am not a "don't ever show cleavage or sexy women"...
Man I'd love one of these! Wonder what the basic spec would be for this monster of a VR headset. Its display resolution is above 4k and 90fps recommended. StarVR looks to be the next-gen of VR, but arriving too early. That 210 FOV though... talk about immersion.
Not sure why you are getting as many dislikes as you are getting likes Rude-ro. Because it's not a true next-generation, games won't be upgraded in the gameplay department.
Take last-gen, PS3/360:
Physics driven animation was very slow. Some companies used it, like Rockstar with Grand Theft Auto 4 and the Euphoria tech but it took a big hit on the performance. You can't really just turn that off if you want it integrated into gameplay. This g...
I felt the TV show was completely unnecessary (and including the famous actors), but the game itself was actually quite good. I made the mistake of listening to all the reviews and let that keep me away from the game, but I just recently played through it and thought it was a really good game that not only looked great but played great. It was only the first 30-45 minutes that felt crap gameplay wise, but once you got your powers the game became enjoyable and the story was really quite good. ...
I loved Max Payne and wish it would have met sales expectations too so there would be a sequel. It started off average but further in you got in the game the better it got. Story was really good. It wasn't anything like the original Max Payne 1 and 2, it was a fresh take on it by another studio.
There were some frustrating moments, like on the Yacht. Had to replay that section 10 times I think before I got through it.
