Yeah that's not a bad idea. Android emulation works fine for me until I get an XB1.
I used Bluestacks to do the knack minigame to get all the extras since at the time I didn't have a mobile, or pad.
I read that article, the title is _incredibly_ misleading. There are no new feature changes announced -- at least none mentioned in the article. They just only showcased some weather and some interior segments which looked great running on XB1 so it's safe to assume the PS4 will be at least on par. This is clickbait and creates a forum for people to hate on a game they know nothing of about its current status. It should be taken down or renamed.
The release date has been ...
My biggest issue with Halo 4 was the low variety of enemies, all the way up until the end. Even the boss fights were just elites and more enemies. Other than that I thought it was way prettier than any game Bungie had made but I could not follow along the story despite having played all of them. Having watched some early play-throughs online (just a few missions), it doesn't seem they care about the people who don't remember all the details of the story going back as far as Halo 1. Sa...
They've already said you can create both games with logic and just dreams/experiences.
This is an example of a surreal dream someone created.
They are pushing the PS4 so far with this technology. I really doubt they can get SDF's up to 60fps at this fidelity. Maybe if they had two different resource fillers (like the one LBP had and that they confirmed Dreams will have), one for VR and one for non-VR. But the dreams would be fill up the resource meter way, way faster for VR.
But hey, I'd like to dream it's possible. What they've done with SDF's (signed distance fields) on the PS4 is pretty amazi...
12 stages! I know they are just backgrounds but I really like variety when playing fighting games. To me, the too often used Waterfall stage is not a good one but the rest revealed so far are great. Also glad to hear that each character will have 3 costumes. I wonder if they will be locked by progression, if they are DLC on disc or what.
Unity on PC after a couple of patches was a masterpiece IMO. It was gorgeous, and I'm sad they had to scale it back instead of being able to optimize the code considering Unity was released only a year after current gen consoles. So I am a bit disappointed in Syndicate's graphics and lack of interiors. Also really liked Unity's story. But Evie and Frye (sp?) seem to be a great addition to both gameplay and story.
But two different teams created the games, so maybe...
To me it shows that 30fps can look and feel fantastic in a fast paced game. I do like 60fps, but I take 30fps graphics any day over 60fps lesser graphics. Of course, if there's a PC version I'll get that and get the best of both worlds. But not everyone likes or can afford to PC game.
I have friends who have both an XB1 and PS4 yet is still planning on getting Battlefront on XB1. I don't get it, but some people don't seem to mind 720p. I went from PC beta to ...
Looking great! Big step up from when we last saw it in that horrible (artistically/graphically) free for all zone they showed at E3. This looks more like what we saw in the beginning.
Don't compare this game to Infamous SS. That game still looks way, way better than Halo 5. But 60fps vs. 30fps and concessions have to be made. Halo 5 looks good, but I'm really disappointed that it's not a solid 1080p. If you can't reach 1080p, you shouldn't go for 60fps IMO. Everyone will have their own opinion about that, even my colleagues in the industry. I've said it before, but I'm way more looking forward to Quantum Break and Gears of War 4 as they look fan...
60fps is really nice, but to me it doesn't have a huge impact on gameplay -- but it depends on the game. Driveclub is 30fps and it's one of the best feeling and playable racing game I've played period. Would it be better at 60fps? A bit, but I prefer all the visual awesomeness they can afford because they went with 30fps.
Halo 5 has to give up a lot of resolution to maintain 60fps and it's not even that pretty of a game. I'm way more looking forward to Qua...
Given the footage out there, you seriously feel U4 and RotTR are in the same league?
We would not be having this discussion if RotTR wasn't a (lengthy) timed exclusive. If it was MP most would see the ridiculousness in comparing the two games.
Also, I wonder if RotTR will have drivable vehicles... I would say not. Everything I've seen of RotTR looks to be an expansion to the reboot. More of the same. Which I am fine with, but don't come in here an...
@SuperLupe Compare the truck flipping over in both games. It's a very similar scene. I am not going to argue console power here as Quantum Break has shown the XB1 can do more, but that comparable scene shows that Uncharted 4 looks leagues above RotTR. I'll wait for the PC version either way as I did enjoy its predecessor but I am way more psyched for U4.
Quantum Break, Gears of War 4, and maybe Scalebound is what will get me to buy an XB1. And then I'll get Halo 5...
Console arguments aside, Tomb Raider just doesn't look as good as it should. Compare it to a game on the same platform; Quantum Break. It's a Quantum Leap (see what I did there) over Rise of the Tomb Raider. Only thing I've been impressed by are the water effects when she escapes the temple.
If it's as powerful as it seems to be, I'll buy it for Nintendo games alone. Never got a Wii, never got a Wii U but that's because my expectations of the technical aspects were higher than what those machines could deliver.
Is this a joke? They barely look different. Yes, I can see minute differences but "major differences"? Right...
MGO3 is great. Yes it has too few modes and too few maps but gameplay is great fun and different enough from all the other MP competitive games out there to stand on its on. If you guys expected MGO2, I don't know what to say.
The reviewer has only himself to blame btw. He knew the online component was coming later. Did he expect it to be flawless (10/10 like he gave the game when it came out)? Really just shows you his incompetence, not to any fault of the game.
THere's cheating and there's "cheating". On PCs there's way more people with custom setups, people with mice that have macros that you'll never know are cheating. People with automatic fire to get the most out of the fire-rate of every gun etc. I played PC beta for 10 hours, PS4 for 8 hours and I consistently placed higher on the PS4, and I've always been really good with a mouse and keyboard.
Bought it right away, it's so awesome! Sense of speed is even greater than with cards. It's incredible.
