Trouble is the best youtuber's can't do their job if they don't earn any money for it. It is their job. So from Joe's perspective, I can understand why he is pissed. Someone else will be getting his hard earned money instead of the person who created the original video.
Dude, do you even understand how much time it takes to make these videos?
Mine take me a couple hours per video. Angry Joe's must take tens of hours if not more when it comes to some of his best special effect videos. He like many big youtuber's work their arses off just to have all their effort thrown in their face.
If you have a shit job, I'm sorry for you. Unfortunately being jealous because someone can do what they love doing is childish.
Nice video, cheers for spreading the news.
Sorry, I heavily disagree.
I, like a said above, have a real job in the real world. Many of us do this as a side hobby that just happens to pay so some of us can live of the work provided and give an even better service to you, the gamer.
If you don't want good, in depth and well written reviews/previews/first impressions and all the rest that this wonderful gaming culture provides, than so be it. Because if youtube carries out this work and disabled ever...
I have one, I do this as a hobby that just happens to help people.
So in a sense I'm working two jobs. How about you?
Thanks for your support.
If you know of any other youtubers who wish there names and sites to appear on our list of supporters, please let me know.
I see what you mean but this is the same soft of problem as getting rid of the physical second hand game market by force. We are all so used to being able to do something, that when it's taken away it feels like we're being wronged.
In this instance I don't agree with companies crashing the youtube service that people have come to know and love just because they don't see any of the direct profits due to advertising.
Though we would love that, it sort of means starting from scratch.
We first need someone who's got the skills to set up an easy to use video service, with adverts alongside that don't annoy everyone, which is also easy to use for content providers.
Unfortunately, even if we had someone or a group of people who could do this, they would most likely be susceptible to the same problems youtube is now encountering.
I think we need to stan...
Hey, thanks for the info.
For me, a new start up to the scene, this is not looking good.
Its not like anybody is milking the industry so I don't understand why this is happening. I have yet to make a dime on any videos, yet the potential too would help offset the website costs. I do this voluntarily and have a regular day job.
So why in hells name do big companies who have huge cash reserves demand people to stop making a living of these ...
It is indeed my opinion, though neither small, narrow or biased. Other than Mario becoming 3D, and the addition of the tablet features, what exactly makes it new?
I still see the old nes, snes platformer under that shell with nothing new to entertain me.
Rayman Legends can be had on every console, I've heard The wonderful 101 was an interesting game and Monster Hunter is only playable by those who have ridiculous amounts of spare time on their hands.
I have played it actually. The whole Mario thing really hasn't evolved since the first concept, moving from 2D to 3D doesn't really count for much when almost everything has been 3D for what, ten years now!
In my opinion, it hasn't changed. A lot like many Nintendo titles of the years.
Rather than insulting people, try defending your favourite console with some manners. If the Wii U is so good and a better bargain than the PS4 or the Xbox One, tha...
Is it me or is every defence for the Wii U, Mario!
I liked Mario when I was six or seven, since the game hasn't changed. So why would that sell me a console?
The only game I want to play on the Wii U is ZombieU, THE ONLY GAME!
I know I'm not a big fan of Nintendo games in general but surely there has to be more to a consoles life than one overused IP.
@-Foxtrot Fair enough, trouble is I thing they've had a big issue with trying to differentiate it from Terraria, I think it's the 2D style that just doesn't help at all.
No problem, I hope you enjoy the game.
This is not Terraria 2, though it is developed by the same people it has a lot more to offer than Terraria.
Deep story, completely revamped combat system, quests along with many sandbox features you would expect from any open world game. Plus spaceships.
The description is almost exactly what me and a mate said to each other the first time we played Warframe.
To be honest, we love the game. I've spent a couple quid on it and that's all and we're still having fun two weeks on. Yes things are much harder to earn in game without spending real money but that's where the grind comes in. If you have the time, Warframe is really rewarding to those who wish to play instead of spend.
Definitely and that way your never outdated and you never have to fork out for big new purchases, like a new £350-430 console.
True, a PC can cost more upfront than a console but it has some great advantageous. Its a bit like those shops that sell you something and you pay for it monthly, you actually end up paying two or three times the price of the item but its cheaper to get at the start.
Agreed, it all comes to down to the gamer. On average though I would say it is better value for money. The amount of free 2 play games is humongous compared to the consoles, though that may change over time.
That gives the PC a massive starting catalogue for anybody who's just bought one. Something even the new consoles are struggling with.
I do love consoles though for the great exclusives, just wanted to get it out there that PC gaming really doesn'...
These people put in some long hours to give us the best reviews and videos possible. How is that a quick buck?
