That's all we need, another MILO.
Your right though, which is why I asked why MS might be doing this. Surely this, as it is, couldn't be sold as a product to consumers, so are they just messing around for fun or do they have certain goals to reach. They might be using this as a stumbling block for something else.
I think MS want to do something different from VR and are still experimenting. I agree with you though, some AR stuff can look cool but not perform in the longer run, VR just looks amazing and from peoples experience, it sounds like it really could change the face of gaming.
True, though to be honest it was difficult to see exactly how much the original prototype would have added to a gameplay experience.
And asking people to buy a projector for a small benefit would have been a little cheeky. This however seems ridiculous.
It's a rich boys toy!

Lack of content may have been the wrong sentence then, maybe it should have said, lack of enjoyable and fresh content, instead of the exact same missions copied and pasted to fill 16 hours of gameplay?
No, players do not just grind for better gear, they grind because the game forces them to if they want to achieve a higher in game level. The only way to go above 20 is via gear, therefore, unless you want to do missions that until recently, were not on...
Lol, thanks but no thanks.
We decided to try out the idea of Group Reviews and Destiny just happened to be a game at least three of us had played. So we started with Destiny.
If you checked out the website attached above you would have found that we each gave a score which then made the final average score. We didn't pre-determine the score and instead left it up to individual scores to show our own final thoughts on the game.
I'm sor...
I'm so sorry, did we not point out the flaws of the game, as well as lack of content and silly light system that requires insane amount of grinding on the same old mobs again and again.
If everybody is saying the same thing, maybe there is some truth to what people are saying.
Hey ITPython,
Obviously you didn't watch the video otherwise you would have heard why we gave it such a low score. Even though we've all had some fun with the game, the underlying issues and lack of content really do mess up the launch of what is suppose to be a 10 year project.
As for COD, you have to be joking right, most of us at AGR are Battlefield fans and even then, there is no 10/10 BF game. In my mind, there is no 10/10 game ever anyway as tha...
Hey CorndogBurglar,
If you want a short review, I'm sure there are plenty of other sites or videos you can watch.
The whole point of us creating these group reviews was to get a multi-person review done with discussion on good and bad points that cover a larger segment of the game and its features.
As for the score, you do know that 5/10 is an average game, so anything above that is above average. A broken game, which you can see an examp...
Well considering this game blew my socks off, as have many indie games that have been Kickstarted in the last couple years, I for one love them.
Anything is better than the recycled garbage every AAA developer keeps trying to shove down our throats.
Or Bungie could just create a game that didn't require a ridiculous amount of loot to get anywhere.
Who thought that would be a great idea?
I know I just didn't plan on getting it day one. Decided on the day that I really fancied playing it with some mates so made the splash. Otherwise I would usually plan ahead and get it cheaper online.
I know, waiting a day doesn't sound like much but when you don't get much holiday to enjoy games, waiting that extra day really does kill your joy of gaming.
Same for Sony unfortunately. What happened to digital games being cheaper?
Hey Starrman1985, I miss the good old Gamestation. Great employee's, great second hand game prices and you rarely got ripped off.
I really do wish Gamestation had survived rather than Game but I guess we can't have everything in life.
What we need is some more retail competetion to put Game in its position. My mate has a Granger Games near his and they are far better than Game, we just need more stores for people to use instead of Game.
I can understand that they have costs to pay for but it seems odd that they would take it out on consumers not long after a serious financial situation.
Also, the PS3 and 360 copies of this exact game where £30 brand new. That's a £25 hike over last gen.
They also send out online games for free with next day delivery which must cost them something. Yet they can provide the game at a reasonable price.
I have since noticed that th...
Err Shadow of Mordor? Planetary Annihilation? Natural Doctrine? Dragon Age: Inquisition? At least you could have gotten some of the ones that have had some hype or anticipation. Instead you seemed to find every RPG and strategy game with very little anticipation.
In pokemons case that's probably as its exactly the same as the last release, it just has five more pokemon.
And Sim's 4, seriously?
Beyond Earth is about the only one I can ...
Agreed, just sometimes I don't plan on getting a particular game so don't order it online ready for day one.
As for exclusive DLC and items, I have to agree with you there too. It gets ridiculous when each store gives one or two specific items away if you go with them. Completely pointless and DLC is often just as useless.
Completely agree and is about the only MMO I still play to this day.
I don't think its bad because Sony said so, I think its bad because its hooking consumers into another subscription model.
Its also going to kill the option of physical game stores and kill the second hand market.
Yea but you'll have to pay that subscription every year to play that game. Buy it once, often a lot cheaper when the later version has come out, and you can play when ever you want. It does look like good value for money but it's going to piss off retailers which in turn could hurt us in the long term. Short term it looks good but we as consumers need to look further than that.
Yeah, who wouldn't want a Holodeck in their house! But unless the tech can be heavily simplified to set up and the cost brought to under the £1000 mark, which may still to be too much for some, this will not sell well.
It's definitely an R&D project, I'm just wondering what MS might be hinting at with it. Do you think they'd be the first to do a real holodeck design, maybe the next xbox?
