I think at some point I'd like to have one of each. Be great for my desk at work.
Yeah because from what I remember, they said specifically that this game would be played and supported over a ten year peroid.
I remember nothing about they mentioning a 10 year life span for the series.
Just a thought. Wasn't Destiny suppose to be a 10 year long game?
Never mind. They fucked up the story, sold a fraction of the content for full price and generally ripped us a new one. Guess everyone can't wait for that to happen again!
Exactly, not like some of them would take a huge amount of work. Skipping cutscenes for example should be very little coding to simply bypass the scenes in the game.
Better yet, have an option before starting missions with cutscenes that asks if you want to autoskip all scenes.
Wow, the support in the comments is stronger than I expected. Looks like a lot of us are eagerly expecting March 3rd. I'll see you troopers on the field of battle!
Although it would be great, I still want to pay for this baby. If its really good I want the devs having my money directly.
Same here until a couple days ago. Apparently been around the press for around two years, just way below the radar.
Seriously?
It only doesn't have games if the gamer using it doesn't have eyes!
The amount of RPG's coming out for this thing is insane, the fact you can play most if not all playstation indies on the go, not to mention psp play-ability along with ps1 games. I've had mine for a year and I'll still have games to play on it in ten years time.
What people keep thinking about is AAA games. Obviously if it has none of those then...
For the EU folks on here, this seems to be a US only deal. Shame as was tempted to pick it up, oh well.
Seriously! Not only have you failed to mention what could be improved in the game but giving it a 10/10 is stating that it is perfect, which when you think about it, no game is perfect as that is impossible.
This is the reason people don't review scores seriously anymore as people just use them willy nilly.
From what I know of LOTF, its a Dark Souls type game so difficulty is a huge part of the game. Some love it others not so much. Looks amazing though.
I know what your trying to say but the answer is the same, killing somebody, armed or not is murder. Which justify it in war to supposedly make peace but its still killing someone.
The fact that people are riled up because a game has come along and shown some footage of you killing random civies, is lunacy. In GTA you can do all of what this game does out of choice, why because a game chooses to make those choices part of the game, does it all of a sudden become wrong.
@Antifan, big different between something throwing a stone at you and someone taking you down with a 50 caliber from three miles away.
Yes people will find a way to kill each other, all the government can do is make it harder to achieve.
@Allsystemgamer
Strange, last I checked Guns aren't legal in the UK and we rarely have a gun crime.
I don't think taking them away may be the correct idea in the US, but regulating them might ...
Yeah, and which country allows civies gun access to any over 18 year old?
Phycho's will find some inspiration somehow, whether it be books, movies, music or games.
Spot on lad. Can you imagine these people playing space invaders in today's society, OMG, your killing innocent aliens, oh why!
This is a video game, to be played by adults, just as a mass killing horror movie is for adults. People will either buy it not. Let the customers decide.
@HeavenlySnipes
Yes, in GTA it is a choice to kill innocents or not, it is also a choice to buy the game or not. Same with Hatred, this is obviously an Adult game and so is created to appease some sort of violent tendency we all have but usually get rid of in games like BF4 or COD.
If you think about it, people have been killing innocent gamers across the internet for decades and nobodies really cared. Why when it involves some made up characters in an ultra ...
As a reviewer, I can say that I'm happy the industry is not doing 9/10 for every game anymore, in fact I still think there are two many 8/10 or 9/10 games today.
Anything above 5/10 is above average and possibly worth buying new, anything below 5/10 is below average and not worth buying new and should be picked up as a bargain.
That is how review scores should work, hence our sites review of Destiny got a 5.8/10, slightly above average but nothing worth s...
Agreed, least hyped and best game so far. Really did the lore some service there.
I'm probably one of the few would would say yes.
You can only learn and become better with honest criticism, many of the games companies I do reviews for, majority indies, want the same. If your not honest, they can't make a better game.
AAA devs need to learn this lesson before the market shifts to indies as being the main focus. As Boogie said on one of his vlogs, we can forsee another video game crash coming and it will be hurting the big publisher...
I agree that newer games probably shouldn't get as many remasters as they do, but porting a game from one system to another is perfectly fine with me.
The Last Of Us is a perfect example, I had a PS3 and never played the original. It came out on PS4 and I bought it and enjoyed it very much. I paid full price for an older game with updated visuals on a newer more powerful system. I don't see a problem with porting a game from one system to another. The vita is an excel...
